Spend a semester or academic year in the classic city of Rome with AIFS Abroad. Earn up to 17 credits studying at AIFS Abroad Global Education Center and receive credits from Fairfield University. No previous Italian language study is required. All programs begin with a 1-week language and cultural orientation. Choose between 4 academic programs: • Multi-Discipline • Intensive Italian Language Program • Study + Internship Program • Music Program (for music majors, in conjunction with Saint Louis College of Music) • Independent Study Courses Volunteer opportunities are also available. Temple University Rome offers a four-year Bachelor's degree program and well as a First-year Entry Year program (TREY) where students then complete Years 2-4 either at Temple University in Philadelphia or Temple University Japan. Temple University Rome offers study abroad semester or academic year programs of full-time study designed primarily for third-year undergraduate students. Students may choose from 55+ degree programs with topics ranging from art to international business, and from global studies to computer science. Internships for credit are available. Except for Italian language courses, all instruction is in English. Temple Rome is located in the heart of Rome's historic city center, adjacent to the Spanish Steps and within short walking distance of the beautiful Borghese Gardens, the Trevi Fountain, shops, and famous historical sites. The summer fashion study abroad program is conducted on an individual basis, with each student receiving private instruction. Thanks to our concise and structured teaching method, we can offer a comprehensive and significant experience in a short period of time. Both students who are just beginning in the fashion field and those who already have studied or possess work experience will benefit from this course. We don’t teach a particular style (the same for all students) here at the school; instead, we tailor our approach specifically to each individual's style through face-to-face teaching. Before their lessons, each student selects the appropriate program with the assistance of their instructor.
