History Study Abroad Programs in Ireland

Take the opportunity to enroll in courses from a wide range of disciplines offered at the University College Cork (UCC), one of Ireland's oldest universities. Study abroad for a semester or an academic year and join the Early Start Courses, a program unique to UCC. Among the early start courses offered are Music in Ireland, Management and Marketing in the European Union, Irish Folklore and Ethnology, Literatures in Ireland, History and Modern Ireland, and Irish Archaeology. These courses provide students with insight into Ireland's past and present. You can also participate in field trips, which bring to life the course material. Spend a semester or academic year in the charming city of Limerick, Ireland, with AIFS Abroad! You’ll earn up to 15 credits per semester at the University of Limerick (UL). Courses are taught in English. The University of Limerick offers a program of credit-bearing service learning opportunities for AIFS Abroad students. Community projects require students, UL academic staff, and community partners to work together to focus on a specific area of need within the local community. You’ll live in university townhouses on campus and receive a meal allowance to subsidize the cost of meals and groceries.
