When considering this program, you need to be particularly careful if you hold a passport which is not from the major English-speaking countries like the US, UK, Australia, Canada & New Zealand. No matter what your mother tongue or level of fluency, most TESOL employers will immediately categorise you as a “non-native English speaker” (NNES) which will bar you from most TESL jobs despite this certification. And speaking of the certification, please be aware that in addition to the huge hidden disadvantage of being an NNES, you will have to jump through quite a few extra hoops -including unexpected post-course costs - to get your certificates verified by a Canadian public notary. Similarly you have to initiate separate processes - and yes, more fees - to get the touted TESL Canada and ACTDEC accreditation officially. Not only that, to obtain the TESL Canada certification, after filling a form, paying registration and annual fees for membership, students must then independently source and organise, either a 20-hour online practicum for Level 1 or a 50-hour in-person practicum at accredited centre for Level 2 certificate. In stark contrast, Gold-standard, internationally respected programs like Cambridge CELTA/DELTA or Trinity CertTESOL include their global recognition and practical components seamlessly. Add to this the fact that OnTESOL’s 'free lifetime job assistance' operates as a passive directory rather than active, hands-on recruitment. There are some other things you can miss while reading OnTESOL’s main promotional materials highlighting high global salaries and ease of hiring, Specifically, the aforementioned passport filter but most surprisingly, their terms include an asymmetrical intellectual property clause: students are legally barred from sharing their own original assignments with future employers or tutors, yet OnTESOL retains the right to use that student work for their own advertising and educational materials. Academic-wise, the initial course layout was opaque and poorly organized. My first tutor responded to queries only in monosyllables, making it an immense struggle to gather clear information. To their credit, management was gracious when I formally complained; they granted course extensions and assigned me an excellent second tutor, the highly competent and cooperative Ms. Margaret Hurley who helped me learn a great deal about lesson-planning frameworks. While you can absolutely learn here if you advocate for yourself, and fall in the category of a native English speaker, the program requires serious structural revision and proactive career support. Non-native English speakers should carefully review these buried parameters before purchasing. UPDATE (August 2026): After posting this review, a Student Advisor named Dan Bailly contacted me and explicitly stated that if I keep my review up, they will refuse to provide a job reference to my future employers and in fact give negative feedback to them. Prospective students should be aware that this company uses reference extortion to suppress negative feedback highlighting their real policies as well as the true career prospects for non-native English speakers.

Really enjoyed my time here, wish I could have stayed longer. The only caveat is that the crowd tends to be either rather young (think 16-19) or older (40+) so if you are in the middle of that (I was 22) befriending people may be a bit more awkward, especially with the constantly changing crowd. However, that was not a big problem as I was able to make many great friends outside the program (and some within as well!). Staff were all incredibly informed, helpful, and outgoing and really made the time a blast. The events they offered were plentiful and diverse as well, which was very handy and good for meeting various people. Additionally, the spanish lessons were taught fully in spanish (although staff knows english and helped answer questions in english when people truly didn’t know how to communicate in spanish) which was very good and helped rapidly increase my spanish comprehension and skills.

Taking a Spanish immersion course abroad was a new experience for me but I absolutely loved it. And I loved Iguana Abroad – thank you to the Iguana Abroad organizers for making what initially felt like quite a stressful experience so smooth and enjoyable. My experience started with an email or two to Iguana Abroad, followed by a video call with Harry, one of the British organizers. From then on the whole process was very smooth and straightforward. Iguana Abroad picked me up at the airport when I arrived and they accompanied me to my accommodation and introduced me to Mayra and Emilio – the lovely Mexican couple who would be hosting me during my time in Mexico. It was such a perfect way to ease myself into a new environment and get settled in. Cuernavaca is a beautiful city. I just loved how green and fresh it was. There are so many gardens and parks in the city that it really feels like you are surrounded by nature even though you are in a city. I also loved the beautiful little cafes and restaurants in the city center that serve delicious traditional food. On the immersion program we also did a cooking class, which was wonderful. I will never forget my evening with Chef Natividad cooking, eating and chatting in her kitchen – it is a memory I will cherish for a very long time. There were so many other wonderful moments on the course that I couldn't possibly list them all here. I just want to say a huge thank you to Harry, Harry and Fabiola for making this trip so fulfilling and worthwhile. Gracias.

I really enjoyed becoming interconnected with the Costa Rican experience. My host parents Tulio and Carmen were the best people ever. They became my home away from home. They were so kind and showed me the true Costa Rican kindness everyone talked about!

I spent a total of 12 weeks at LTL Chengdu, and coming here was honestly one of the best decisions I've made. When I arrived I was around the beginning of a HSK 4 Level, and by the time I left I passed a HSK 4 test and was handling HSK 5 material with no great effort. The combination of intensive learning, and a homestay environment was powerful in pushing my Mandarin further. Without this combination, I sincerely doubt my Mandarin would ever have gotten to where it is today in such a short period of time I'd like to thank my teachers during my time at LTL, in particular my teachers Meng, Alex and Guo. I took a combination of group classes and 1:1, and my teachers always found a way to make the lessons both enjoyable whilst always pushing me into that next level of Chinese comprehension. The school environment itself is a great way of meeting other students, which was a highlight of my time at Chengdu. The school organises weekly events, which are also a great way of meeting both other students and local people as the school organises a "buddy" system to have locals at the events. I'd also like to thank teachers Pan Pan and Stiles for making the school environment so friendly and welcoming. Every weekend at Chengdu was spent with the friends I made at the school, and some great memories were made. These are friends I'll continue to be in touch with going into the future. Overall, I'd highly recommend LTL Chengdu to anybody considering it. I can testify to it's effectiveness in improving my Mandarin, and also to how enjoyable my time was there in general.

I started learning Spanish online with Academia Buenos Aires in January and then transitioned to in-person in July. The transition was seamless and one I highly recommend! The same immersive language experience and instruction carried over, together with passionate teachers who really cared deeply that we come to know, use, and appreciate the Rioplatense Spanish of the region. I wasn’t expecting to learn as much culture as I did, but I am leaving with a more profound understanding of the history and customs that have shaped Argentina. Each day was a joy to learn with La Academia! The office staff, the teachers, and my classmates made each day so fun! I was always greeted with a genuine smile, a “charla”, and timely or useful information whenever I needed it! I will definitely be continuing online as I prepare to write the DELE later this year. And I know Academia will continue to help me achieve that goal!

I will always be an advocate to intern or study abroad. No matter where you choose to go, you will leave with your life changed. The Intern Group is a reputable, reliable choice. Dublin is a great city to explore and work in, especially if you like more mid-size and communal cities. What you put into the program is what you get out, so explore and experience all you can. There’s a lot to do in Dublin, as you have both of best worlds, being by the city and sea. As an avid ocean lover, I was able to be in the ocean, but also get my city girl on which I loved. Adam and Laura were our ECs here in Dublin. They were great in coordinating social plans while getting accustomed to Dublin and if we had any questions, they were very supportive.

The Arcos Journey abroad was very fun, the cultural immersion aspect of it made my experience in Buenos Aires so fun. I especially enjoyed that we went on several excursions not just in Buenos Aires and within Argentina, but also the trip to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, was also a very enjoyable experience so I want to thank Arcos for this experience.

I booked a 60 hour, 1 week 1:1 mandarin class and I have to say that the experience has been fantastic. The school is well organized, convenienly located and all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Best of all was my teacher Lily Laoshi who managed to really bring me forward in my struggles with the Chinese language. She is a very experienced teacher that can easily adapt to any specific topics or focus you request. She always was extremely well prepared and ensured that I kept motivated by combining by-the-book excercises with exercises covering topics closer to me (like work, family, fiends, weekend activities in Beijing etc). Highly recommended.

This internship abroad is the kind of experience that changes how you see yourself. Away from the usual routines and support systems back home, you’re forced to figure things out on your own, and that’s where the real growth happens. Navigating a new place, solving problems solo, building a routine from scratch: it teaches you more about independence than any classroom ever could. The program also gives you room to actually test out a career path instead of just guessing at it. You get to try the work firsthand and see what genuinely clicks. What stands out most is the community and the events. Everyone’s going through the same adjustment, which creates a natural closeness. People get it, and they show up for each other, which makes the hard parts a lot easier to handle. Overall, a genuinely worthwhile experience. Highly recommend.

This experience gave me so much. During my internship, I learned to see things from different perspectives and to try new things without fear also because the people I worked with were very kind, helpful and supportive. I'm very grateful for everything and experiences like this are very important because if you think that you have an open mind like this one helps to think outside the box and learn how to solve problems and new challenges without fear!

I initially thought that the experience would be much more academically intense than it actually was. This notion was based on the information in the syllabi. The seminar syllabus listed weekly required readings and even an in-class exam, but neither occurred. In the project class, the weights for each assignment were far from accurate, and the required word count was double what it should have been. I am not complaining that I did not have much work to do, but the syllabi should be updated to represent the classes accurately. The two individuals who led the program did a good job planning the experience and ensuring that students were in the know about the activities that would be done each day. However, some activities and site visits felt like fillers to make sure students did not have too much free time. The dorms and hostel we stayed at were overall very solid. The only negative was the kitchen at the hostel in Akureyri, which only contained a mini fridge, a microwave, and one burner. The food in Iceland is extremely mediocre due to its reliance on imported products. This means that produce and food overall were often below the standards of food in the U.S. On top of this, any above-average food you want to eat will cost you an arm and a leg, so eating out often is impossible if you want to stay within budget. One positive of Iceland is that almost everyone knows English. This made traveling and communicating very easy. Icelanders are known to be very honest and can sometimes be judgmental if tourists are not abiding by the country's norms.

My time as a University of Sussex student was a life changing opportunity. I got to grow and connect with people who I was able to explore with. I constantly reminisce on my time there and all that I got to do and for that I am grateful!

aswell as improving my grammar, speech and understanding in spanish, I had a great time on activitys, excursions and free time. met a lot of new people and had a lot of fun with them and interacting with others

I finished the 120 Hour TEFL and had my certs apostilled after I found a job using one of their China job recruiter links. I don’t think they get any commissions for these as I dealt with a recruiter. The course, I thought it was great because they cover so many topics; the feedback is good especially on practice tasks; and staff responded to my email. Everything was very especially because I passed and squeezed everything from it like a job application and paperwork.

Jamie was an incredible Chinese teacher who made learning so much more enjoyable. I learned a lot of Chinese and about Chinese culture with her, and she became a really good friend along the way. ❤️ My host family was just as special. They welcomed me with so much love and made me feel at home from the very beginning. They truly became my family in Shanghai, and I’ll always be grateful for them. ❤️

I had a wonderful experience participating in the International Volunteer Service – Food Outreach program in Vietnam. It was a rewarding opportunity to support local communities, meet people from different backgrounds, and contribute to a meaningful cause. I really appreciated the organisation of the program and the kindness and hospitality of the local people. It was a memorable and enriching experience that I would highly recommend to others.

I recently complete the 120- hour TESOL certification course with UNI-Prep Institution. The materials were easy to follow and the breakdown of teaching grammar and lesson planning was super helpful. The flexible online format made it easy to study . I highly recommended for anyone looking to step into International English teaching to choose UNI-Prep Institution to study at your own self-pace with a fantastic experience.

I recently completed my Mandarin course in Singapore with Teacher Chen. Although Singapore is known for its high level of English proficiency, the classes were highly immersive and conducted almost entirely in Mandarin. This approach allowed me to make progress much faster than I would have in a standard English-to-Mandarin class. In my opinion Singapore is very good choice for solo travelers as it is very developed and safe country. Based on my experience, I can highly recommend studying with LTL in Singapore, especially if you are looking for an immersive and effective way to improve your Mandarin.

Living outside your hometown can be scary sometimes as is not something that you do everyday, or maybe you haven't had the chance to leave your house or small town for longer than 1 week. This was a great experience and journey for me as i had the chance to apply what I have learn back on my school days plus learning more not only from my personal knowledge about industry, machinery, people. Nonthless, this wasnt the only fun part, I was able to meet and live into another work culture, changing schdules working on different areas, experience different traditions. I like to tell and hear stories, fortunately USA, is full of stories from past present and future, with different people, some of them got here for work, improving life and I think I like that vision of changing your scenario for a better one, in which you can learn about other and about yourself.

I had one of the best time of my life! The internship has helped me to grow both personally and professionally and I will be forever grateful to The Intern Group for the opportunity given. Not only the work environment was fantastic, but also the moments spent with my flatmates made a difference in this experience

I want to write this review because my school trip to Beijing was really, really beautiful. I am so happy and I want to share my experience. Every morning we had Chinese class. The teacher was very nice and she laughed a lot with us. Chinese language is very difficult for me, but she explained everything slowly. I learned to say "ni hao" and "xie xie" and also "wo yao" – I want! In Italy we don't learn Chinese, so this was my first time. I liked it very much. The class was not boring – we played games and repeated words like parrots. It was funny! In the afternoon we went to visit many famous places. First, we went to the Forbidden City. It is so big – really, really big! I thought it was only one building but it is many, many buildings. The red walls and golden roofs are fantastic. I took many photos with my phone. My friends and I walked for hours and we were tired but happy. Then on Saturday we went to the Great Wall. This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my whole life! The wall goes up and down the mountains – it is like a dragon. We climbed and climbed and when we arrived at the top, the view was amazing. I could see everything – the trees, the mountains, the sky. I felt like a king! I stayed there for a long time because I didn't want to go down. It was a long tired day trip though. We also visited theA lot of other famous attractions in Beijing, which we heard before we came To China, and we took a little boat with the whole group and our teacher. It was so relaxing. I also liked the markets – we went to the Market and I bought a scarf for my mother and a t-shirt for my brother. The sellers were very friendly and we laughed when I tried to speak Chinese. They said my pronunciation was not so good but they were nice about it. Well, our group tried different food every day but still just a small portion of Chinese multiple food styles. the food was very different from Italian food. But I liked it! Peking duck is really delicious – the skin is crispy and you eat it with pancakes and sauce. Also I tried dumplings and noodles. Some food was strange for me but I tried everything because when you travel, you must try new things, right? While, we were at LTLschool, there are also some other students not from our group, they are from different countries, but also luckily I use home Italian students like us. Our teachers and guides were also very good. They always controlled us and never lost anyone. They told us many stories about China and we listened with open mouths. And each of us got a present on our last day!! Now I am back in Italy and I miss Beijing a lot. My friends and I still talk about this trip every day. We look at our photos and we laugh and remember everything. I think this was the best week of my life this year. If you are a student like me and you have the chance to go to Beijing – GO! Do not think too much. Just go. It is far from home, yes. The language is difficult, yes. But it is so, so worth it. You will see amazing things, eat good food, meet nice people, and make memories that stay forever. I hope to come back to China one day. Maybe I will study Chinese more and speak better! I joined the CFHI Program, Global Health in the Philippines for 4 weeks, during the month of July, 2026 and I received the Friends of the Philippines scholarship. To be able to join a program such as this was an honor for me. It was a wonderful journey, with a great group of people to be with. CFHI has provided plenty for us during the course of the program and made sure that we were able to soak in the Philippines' beauty, culture, and healthcare. As a Filipino, I appreciate how we got to share our first-hand experiences to our companions from abroad. One of the students with us was also studying medicine, and we appreciated how we were using almost the same materials for our respective degrees. It did not matter whether she was studying in the US, or we were studying in the Philippines, although some information might be tweaked, for example, for diseases endemic to our countries. The girls we were with for the program were just the loveliest of people to be with, along with the local communities that we went to for the program. Our group went to the municipality of Torrijos in Marinduque. During our stay at the municipality, we were not only exposed to the RHU (Rural Health Unit), but because they had an ongoing Barangay Caravan, we also were able to explore different places in the municipality. As an aspiring physician here in the Philippines, it was a great experience to be able to shadow local doctors in the area, knowing that I would be doing the same thing in the future. We got tips on how to talk to patients, how to interact with the locals, and most importantly, how to handle medicine in areas far from the capital. It was a sad realization to hear that the municipality lacked equipment for crucial diagnosis, but we knew that the doctors there are doing their best of their capabilities to provide care for the people despite the disadvantage. Dr. Gellie Ocampo, our local preceptor made sure that we were well taken care of while we were staying there at the island. Ma'am Joan Azares, and her daughter Marnie Azares took us in as guests at their house, and they could not have been more hospitable. To them, we are most grateful for ensuring that we have a roof above our heads and meals to eat that they so lovingly prepared. Before we even got to the island, Ma'am Anabelle Rioflorido made sure that we were safe on the journey from Manila to the homestay in Marinduque. Finally, I would also like to share my gratitude to Dr. Paulo Medina, and Ms. Mae for making sure that the whole program would be smooth and there would not be any mishaps. I am just so immensely happy to be able to participate in such a program, and I hope CFHI is able to continue giving scholarships for deserving students to get in the program. London was the most unrealistic experience for me! The work-life balance culture, dressing, food, lifestyle, people everything seemed like a fantasy. These 2 months are something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Never did I think I would get to meet such great people, eat all this food, and party as I've never done before! The experience coordinators were the absolute best. They ensured we had a great time, did not make us feel like we were away from home, and most importantly, they were our friends! We talked, ate, and went out together like we've known each other since forever. Honestly, I wasn't sure about this entire experience, but once I got here, oh boy, I would give my heart and soul for this to just be my reality. My opinion, be unsure, dream unrealistically, spend that money, overthink it, but take that step and go for it, because what's the worst that could happen?

My 16-year-old daughter spent 4 weeks in Beijing with GAC's summer camp. She was nervous at first, but her homestay family made her feel at home immediately. She learned real Mandarin and made friends from all over the world. The weekend trips to the Great Wall and Summer Palace were unforgettable. She came back more confident and independent. Already planning to go back next year. Thank you GAC!

I spent two weeks of July in Barcelona with Expanish School and it was one of the best experiences of my life. In two weeks I learned a lot thanks to the teachers and the trips we did during the week and in the weekends. I got to know some amazing people that became my friends and with them I shared this magnificent experience. My host family was so lovely, they immediately made me feel comfortable and at home. Now that my experience has finished I find myself thinking about the days spent in Barcelona with Expanish. I already recommended the school to my friends because I think it is really really valid.

Connect-123 made my experience in Ireland truly incredible. From the beginning, they did an amazing job matching me with a company that fit my personality, interests, and career goals. I couldn’t have asked for a better internship experience. They also did a great job planning weekend trips around Ireland, giving me the opportunity to explore different parts of the country and make unforgettable memories along the way. Overall, Connect-123 made my time in Ireland an amazing experience both professionally and personally.

I arrived expecting to learn about public health, but I left with a new understanding of myself, my future, and the world around me. Through SIT’s Public Health in Urban Environments program, I studied Argentina’s health system, epidemiology, and social determinants of health while experiencing firsthand how culture, community, and inequality shape health. My independent research on access to dental care in underserved communities was especially meaningful. As someone pursuing pediatric dentistry, speaking with dentists and families strengthened my desire to make oral healthcare more accessible and culturally responsive. But some of my most important lessons happened outside the classroom. Living with a host family, traveling throughout Argentina, building friendships, and navigating a new environment pushed me beyond what was comfortable and made me more independent and open-minded. Study abroad didn’t just give me memories or academic credits it changed how I see my education, my future career, and myself. As a mentor, I hope to help other students take that same leap and make their experience their own.

It’s not my first time come to China and this time I chose Beijing to attend the camp. I was astonished that there are so many students from different countries and we all try to speak Chinese while we were at class( teacher was very friendly and nice) even even though after class, there are English discussion everywhere hahaha! I like the activities every day especially the ping-pongand I also went to the Great Wall. That was fabulous!

This study abroad was certainly out of the ordinary for what you would get for a semester abroad. If you’re looking for an authentic experience in countries that are less popular for study abroad, this is for you! This program was incredibly thought-out and well organized and I learned so much that was directly applicable to my studies and work. Please don’t let chatter about safety in Guatemala deter you—I felt safe, even as a woman, and the staff to support you were very prepared about safety concerns. I would recommend this program to anyone willing to experience something unique and that challenges your current ways of thinking. This program is especially applicable to majors in sociology/anthropology, gender studies, Spanish, poli sci, Latin American studies, international relations, race/ethnicity studies, education, journalism and similar things.

I had a really good time in Costa Rica. It was my first time in the country, and probably not the last! The children I worked with were so adorable and I enjoyed every moment of it, when teaching, feeding, putting them to sleep or just disciplining them! I also had some excursions, in the Catamaran and Manuel Antonio Park, and I was lucky enough to get both days very sunny with a clear water. The program in general was so fun, not to mention that I met so many amazing people that helped me throughout the journey.

I really liked this experience and I think than chinese is a really different and interesting language. I really liked Alice’s lessons because she is really kind and she made the lessons interesting even thought chinese it’s really difficult to learn and to understand.

I absolutely loved my time in Florence with World Strides! I had never been out of the country and didn't know anyone else going, so I was terrified, but the experience was amazing. World strides was really easy to work with and offered a lot of free activities in Florence, such as a cooking class and a weekend trip to Lake Garda. The staff were all really kind and welcoming, and I made very good friends in the program. I could not recommend this program enough!

The best esperience I've ever had! Beautiful atmosphere, amusing activities and amazing people. I really want to thank our teacher Alice for her hard work and understanding, her kind teaching method helped all of us have great time together.

I studied abroad with Worldstrides in Barcelona during the spring semester of 2026, and it was genuinely life-changing! I was able to connect with professors at my university and my peers and create lifelong friendships. It was easy to make meaningful connections because the academic curriculum revolves around group work. I was able to work with students from all around the world and grow my international interpersonal skills. I can not recommend going with WorldStrides enough! They eased any potential worries I had before and during my time abroad. The team is there to help you and make your experience incredible!

Before going to Hong Kong, i thought all I was going to experience is the internship itself and nothing else. Until I realized the intern group provided other memorable experiences for us. I met a LOT of new people and got to know more about them and how we all ended up in Hong Kong. What an experience

Before coming to Cuernavaca my Spanish was around an A2 (fairly basic). I could order food, ask basic questions and understand simple conversations, but like everybody else around that level - as soon as someone spoke naturally, I was completely lost and would want to switch back to English straightaway, and that was always kind of embarassing. After just a few weeks, I left feeling comfortably around B1 (intermediate), and, more importantly, I actually had the confidence to use Spanish every day. By the end of the program I was having conversations with my host family (who were amazing!), ordering in restaurants without thinking, chatting to locals around the neighbourhood and markets, and even making friends entirely in Spanish. It was the first time I'd ever felt like I was genuinely living the language rather than just studying it. Maybe one thing that sort of surprised me most was how much learning actually really does happen outside the classroom, and the lessons were excellent, really nice small groups, smart engaging teachers and lots of speaking—but probably the real magic was the immersion. Living with a Mexican host family, exploring Cuernavaca, visiting local markets, taking part in cultural activities and weekend trips meant I was constantly using Spanish in real situations. It never felt like a holiday with a few language classes; it felt like moving to Mexico for a few weeks. I also think Cuernavaca is the perfect place to learn Spanish. It's beautiful, safe, authentic and far less touristy than Mexico City, so you're surrounded by Spanish from the moment you wake up until you go to bed. That made a huge difference to my progress, and everybody else on the course said that as well. Harry, Harry (the two Harrys!) and the entire Iguana Abroad team (especially Fabi!) genuinely care about every student so much. From the airport pickup to the accommodation, activities and day-to-day support, everything was incredibly well organized, and I always felt looked after. That was really important to me. If you're serious about improving your Spanish, not just memorising grammar but actually becoming confident speaking with native speakers, I honestly can't recommend Iguana Abroad highly enough. It was one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had, and I'd return in a heartbeat!

I was, probably like some of you, a bit sceptical when initially applying due to the low price compared to other organisations. However, the experience I had was absolutely amazing and I have learnt so much about not only myself, but about different cultures and etiquettes. My program manager, Marissa, was absolutely fantastic at answer all of my questions and adjusting any mistakes I submitted onto my application such as flight number and pick-up time. Despite the huge time difference between Marissa and myself, she was able to reply to my email promptly and with extreme care - I was really at ease throughout the whole process and that made the experience a bunch better. Everything on my volunteering was as described on the program guide and there were no surprises when I landed, everything that happened during my week I was prepared for. I would really recommend this company and I want to thank them once more for the fantastic and truly life-changing experience they provided for me.

Deciding to study abroad in Lille with WorldStrides was the best decision of my life. The trip to Paris before going to Lille was amazing. The accommodations were nice and the classes were even better. I met the most amazing people who I'm still friends with, I had amazing food, trips and adventures. I would do it all over again and pick WorldStrides for another study abroad too!

Volunteering in an overseas country offers many opportunities to learn about different cultures, countries and languages. It is particularly enjoyable living at close quarters with people from all over the world, with everyone having a similar drive to engage with others

The moment I stepped into the airport, I felt welcomed and it was easy to figure out where to go to the accommodation. As for my stay, I found that the scheduled routine makes it easier to know what to expect in terms of house rules and what volunteers should be doing.

The TEFL program had a lot of information. There was so much to consume. I appreciated the live recordings of the classrooms and critique assignments that were a part of the modules. My instructor was consistent with their feedback and was always available when I needed them. I appreciate that they were accessible and responded quickly whenever I needed some assistance or extra feedback.

My internship abroad was an amazing experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally. I gained valuable work experience, learned how to adapt to a new environment, and met people from different cultures. Living abroad also made me more independent and confident. I’m grateful for the opportunity and would definitely recommend this program to anyone looking to develop new skills, experience another culture, and create unforgettable memories.

You won't hear a bad word from me about this course as I paid under 30 bucks and found myself actually learning something when I figured it'd mainly be a waste of time until downloading my TEFL cert of course! It actually legit tries to take you through the motions of teaching EFL. Everything works and you get a digital cert. Champion!

We had a wonderful experience with Expanish! Communication was excellent from the time we enrolled and throughout the entire program. They were always very responsive whenever we emailed with questions, and everything was extremely well organized. The paperwork was easy to complete electronically. We dropped our 14 year old son off and picked him up in person, so we also had a chance to see the facilities and meet the staff. The facilities were clean, modern, and well maintained, and the counselors were very friendly and welcoming in person. Most importantly, our son had a great time. He attended just one week this summer and enjoyed it so much that he’s already asked to go back for three weeks next summer. I think that says it all! We would definitely recommend Expanish!

My host family was amazing, the teacher was very nice and helpful and I could learn a lot. The activities were fun and were helping me learn more about the place and the culture. Unfortunately not many people my age were attending them but they were still very fun

I recently studied abroad for 5 weeks in Lima, Peru with WorldStrides. This experience genuinely changed my life, and the staff and accommodations provided to us by WorldStrides were a huge part of this. The on-site team was extremely supportive, and the additional trips planned by staff made my experience 10x better. Seeing the gratitude of patients and families reminded me that even small acts of service can make a lasting difference. Beyond the medical experience, Ghana taught me the value of humility, compassion, and community. I learned that healthcare extends far beyond treating an illness. It is about seeing people, listening to them, and making them feel cared for and valued.

My time at Seoul was an amazing and unforgettable experience. Being immersed in Korean culture and everyday life helped me grow, build character, and gain new perspectives of the world. AIP made the process easy and digestible, and I truly appreciate their guidance along the way. I studied Mandarin at Peking University for 4 months through GAC. I arrived knowing only "ni hao." My homestay family was amazing – they only spoke Chinese, so I had to practice every single day. My teacher was patient and made classes fun. By month three, I could order food, take the subway, and have real conversations with locals. The GAC team organized weekend trips to the Summer Palace and the Great Wall. I came back to Belgium with confidence and a second family in Beijing. Highly recommend.

Going abroad was such an amazing experience that I definitely reccomend to everyone! This program in Chile was so immersive and very supportive throughout my time. Worldstrides planned great excursions for us that made it very fun with always something to look forward to!

It is hard to write a short review for my time in Mexico because of how big of an experience it was-- not only because of how much I learned from professors and community members alike, but also from the sheer amount of fun and changes in perspective I was able to have in the short 4 months. Before I left for this study abroad experience I was terrified; I didn't know the language, or anyone else who was going, I had no frame of reference for what it was going to be like, and I was afraid that I would be so out of my comfort zone that I wouldn't have any fun. However, I felt right at home within the space that the professors and staff of Augsburg have worked so hard to create in order to make every student feel safe and welcome. There is a great emphasis on community and care for one another which can be felt through every aspect of this experience. Of course it was challenging at times, but the challenges were incredibly rewarding and allowed me to learn more about myself, others, and the world than I ever could have hoped (along with the help of my peers, who are now life long friends). I feel so lucky to have been a part of this program and hope that more students will take the leap and allow themselves to be cared for, inspired, and taught by everyone who works hard to make this such a special opportunity.

My experience on the immersion course at Pilar's home in Valencia was exceptional in every way. The classes went beyond what I had expected and the cultural visits were wonderful right from the very first day.Pilar is an excellent teacher. Her personalised approach and her genuine passion for teaching Spanish made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable rather than like hard work. I never felt like I was studying in the traditional sense, it just felt like I was living and learning at the same time.I would wholeheartedly recommend this immersion course to anyone and especially with Pilar as your host and teacher. She is a true professional who clearly loves what she does and that enthusiasm is completely contagious.

My semester in Cuernavaca, Mexico was an experience that pushed me far beyond simply studying in another country. Through my Social Work in a Latin American Perspective program, I learned in the classroom while also spending time in the community, engaging with people and organizations, practicing Spanish, and learning about social issues through a Latin American lens. I was expected to be open-minded, reflective, and willing to sit with the discomfort of not always understanding everything right away, and that became one of the most valuable parts of the experience. What made Cuernavaca so meaningful were the everyday moments: navigating a new city, communicating across language and cultural differences, listening to people's experiences, and learning from communities rather than assuming I already knew their stories. There were definitely moments when I felt uncomfortable or unsure, but those moments taught me courage. The people I met taught me compassion, and the relationships I built reminded me of the importance of connection. I came to Mexico wanting to learn about social work in a different context, but I left with a deeper understanding of myself and the kind of social worker I hope to become. Studying abroad reminded me that cultural humility means being willing to listen before speaking, to learn before judging, and to recognize that my way of seeing the world is not the only way. It was not always an easy experience, but it was an amazing one, and I know I will carry the lessons, relationships, and perspective I gained in Cuernavaca with me long after leaving Mexico.

I really enjoyed spending time with my classmates during the FUBiS program. Of course, taking classes together was an important part of the experience, but what I remember most are the moments we shared outside the classroom. Visiting the Olympic Park together was especially interesting because we were able to see an important part of Berlin while also spending time as a group. I also really enjoyed our trip to Potsdam. Walking around the city, seeing new places, and talking with my classmates made the trip feel very special. One of my favorite moments was going to a beer garden together after exploring Potsdam. We had time to relax, talk, laugh, and get to know each other better in a more casual atmosphere. These experiences made my time at FUBiS much more enjoyable and memorable, and I think they were a great opportunity to become closer to the people I met during the program.

I got a morale boost. It was very heartening to hear other people in the same boat as me. And questions were asked that I hadn't thought of. I was surprised there were so few attendees. The presenter (Emos) answered questions ably.

I experienced an eye-opening job coaching session with Emos. The information that he provided on the job opportunities that are available in various countries, and his personal experiences, were really helpful. I received excellent support from beginning to end. Any questions that I had were answered quickly and thoroughly. The support person I had in Morocco was excellent- well-trained, kind, effective, available, and I was checked in on regularly. He helped make me feel settled, safe, and supported in the role. The home I stayed in exceeded my expectations - the room was great, the food was amazing, and the family was kind. I will do another program, and I recommend the organization 100%. I highly recommend arriving early so that it can be arranged for acclimation to the time zone, the weather, and the surrounding area. It was very helpful not only to sleep off the jet lag before starting the program, but also to identify where things like markets and other resources were located.

SIT Portugal was a great study-abroad opportunity, where I was able to further my academics, gain cultural experiences, and explore new places. The support provided by SIT was wonderful! They were accessible and always answered questions, whether it was about needing help with school assignments or trying to find a doctor. Some of my favorite experiences abroad were the excursions within Portugal, to Porto (and the Douro Valley), São Miguel, and Alentejo. These trips included trying new foods, going for hikes, and exploring scenic areas. The trips were always well organized and action-packed. SIT Portugal also gave me so many wonderful friends; the cohort system allows you to live and go to classes with all of the people in your program. Making it easy to commute, grocery shop, and cook together. I truly felt that SIT Portugal provided us with all the tools to feel comfortable living in another country, making it enjoyable to try new things and explore. For example, in the first week we did a Portuguese cooking class, which helped us work on our cooking skills and learn to make traditional Portuguese food. The academics abroad were serious, but the amount of structured class time forced you to stay organized and plan activities, which I found incredibly beneficial. Additionally, the ISP period (Independent Study Project) is about the last month of the program, during which you have no classes. This period was great for so many reasons; first, it taught you how to manage your time on your own. It was also a great time to take a longer trip or travel to a couple of places since there was less structure (though you have to make sure you plan time to work as well!). Also, the project is completely your own, and you are able to research something that interests you. Overall, I found that SIT Portugal provided me with a wonderful abroad experience where I learned a ton, travelled, and had enough balance to do social things and explore.

Not much to say aside from that this was perfect for my budget and level. I knew nothing about tefl before, but now I feel like I know alot. I finished in 6 weeks with weekend study and a bit of night reading. It's not boring, but it is work. Resources were useful and everything was where I'd say it should be.

I had the best experience in this beautiful small iland. It has so much of cultural beauties and activities. People are so warm and friendly. My one week stay was simply amazing! I strongly recommend this island and their programs for student travelers. But this would be more fun if you go as a group of 10 to 20 or more.

I stayed in Beijing for a month during this summer, and it was absolutely amazing. I had the chance to have Mrs Snow as a teacher, she was a true life saver and helped me and my classmates as much as she could. Thanks to her, I made amazing progress and felt listened and supported by her in my difficulties, she was absolutely amazing ! Beijing was also a great choice of city, so authentic and welcoming for foreigners ! There was so much things to visit, and to discover, it was truly the most wonderful thing experience ! I couldn’t have imagined or asked for better honestly, and if I have the occasion to re-do, I wouldn’t even question my choice !

I had such a wonderful experience in Split! I met so many amazing people from different countries and made memories that I will definitely never forget. The Youth Support program gave me the opportunity to connect with the local community, experience a different culture and grow personally at the same time. The local team was very welcoming and supportive and I always felt comfortable asking questions or getting help when needed. I especially loved the international atmosphere and meeting people with completely different backgrounds and stories.besides volunteering, I had enough time to explore Split, enjoy the beautiful beaches and nature and experience Croatian culture. The program itself was amazing. I had a great placement. Work life is very fun and chill, but also enough work where I was learning a great amount. The program has a ton of opportunities to get together and do cool trips, but it also gives you the free freedom to travel. The two coordinators were awesome. Honestly made us feel so comfortable being in Barcelona.

My experience abroad was something I will always be grateful for. The internship gave me valuable professional experience and allowed me to learn what it is like to work in a different country and culture. I was able to gain hands-on experience in both warehouse and office environments, which helped me better understand logistics and supply chain operations. One of my favorite parts of the program was the weekend trips around Portugal. Getting to explore different cities and places with the other students made the experience even more memorable. The people I met through the program were one of the biggest highlights, and many of them have become lifelong friends. Overall, this experience pushed me outside of my comfort zone, helped me become more independent, and gave me memories and relationships that I will carry with me long after the internship ended. The Marketing & Communications internship in Sydney gave me the real life experience which I can tie closely to my studies, and this has helped me understand different topics more easily. The internship also gave me the practical experience I needed to help boost my CV (resume) for my later career, and better prepare me for my future. I enjoyed meeting many people from different cultures a lot. My host family accommodation was amazing; I couldn’t have asked for better.

AIP made my summer internship in South Korea fun and supportive! I was able to safely explore Korea while knowing if I ever needed anything they'd be one text away for help. They were so eager to get know us and allowed me to feel comfortable while doing something outside my comfort zone. I learned so much and I'm so grateful to have had this experience with AIP.

Living and working on the other side of the world in a completely different culture is not the easiest thing in the world. Beyond Academy made this transition as smooth as possible, and made sure that I was safe and accounted for frequently throughout my two months there.

Before taking classes at Nihao Cafe, I tried online platforms for chinese however I could not find a school that was a good fit for me. I have been taking one class a week for a little over 3 months and so far they are best option for learning chinese online. I really like the way classes are structured and that I have the option to go back to review material from past classes. The teachers at Nihao cafe are very professional and encouraging. I’m really happy with my experience so far and would definitely recommend Nihao Cafe to anyone looking to learn Chinese online.

Berlin is an amazing city. The Base, where we lived, was very comfortable. Beyond was great at having activities and initiating meet ups with the other interns. I loved the atmosphere of Berlin. I felt that it had a very gritty, artistic vibe to it which I really enjoyed.

I will try to keep my experience short and helpful to others. The learning environment of the course is excellent, it’s smooth and responsive, loading quickly. The content is great value because there is a large quantity of information in each unit with video. Activities are helpful. One thing they should look at is how to allow quiz repeat attempts without answering the exact same questions if I was correct the first time. The course is strong.

I am extremely grateful to The TEFL Academy for the opportunity to complete my TEFL course. The whole experience was very positive and rewarding, and I learned so much throughout the course. The materials were clear and useful, and the course helped me develop my teaching knowledge and gain more confidence as an English teacher. I learnt a lot during my nursing elective in Kenya, especially from seeing how nurses manage busy wards and care for patients with limited resources. I was able to observe patient assessments, wound care, medication rounds and how nurses communicate with patients and their families. The experience gave me a better understanding of the responsibilities nurses take on every day and helped me feel more confident in my own clinical skills.

I participated in the Marine and coastal conservation program in Zanzibar. I had the best time ever but before I even left Australia IVHQ helped make the process of application and preparation seamless and efficient. They provided all the information I could have possibly needed to prepare me for what I would arrive to once I got to Zanzibar. The program itself was incredible. So many activities to choose from to keep you busy. The staff were incredible. So friendly, super organised and welcoming. Not only did we participate in activities to help the local community but the staff also ensured we had time to socialise and get to know all the other volunteers. I absolutely loved my time and would 100% go back.

Regarding the online call about finding employment in TEFL, Pretty much perfect, answers were answered to all questions and in detail going above and beyond. if I had to critique, I'd argue the section on how to find the job (e.g. linkedin) was a tad rushed, but still provided highly useful information (Only commented because it's useless if I only say it was good!). Emos was very professional with his explanations and with guidance for how to navigate the online and physical market.

We sent our 14 year old son on this camp from Australia to China, all on his own (out of his own wish)! We dropped him off to the airport, and hugged him and trusted someone will be there to look after him when he landed! And I can tell you from personal experience that I was definitely very nervous before I booked the camp with RICH, but they answered my every question and concern to keep me reassured every step of the way, and looked after him from the minute he landed right up until he waved good bye at the boarder gates at the Beijing airport! All while still giving him the opportunity to be independent, make friends, learn about Chinese language and culture, and supporting him to grow up a some more to become the young teenager! He loved RICH so much he convinced his 12 year old sister to go with him again next year!

I stayed with Monica as part of the Spanish Homestay Immersion Program in Ciutadella de Menorca in December and it was a truly wonderful experience. I am from Texas and I love nature and the countryside and Menorca in winter turned out to be absolutely perfect for both.Monica made me feel welcome from the very first day. Living with her meant I was practising Spanish naturally all the time through daily conversations, shared meals and just the rhythm of everyday life together. I loved walking along the Cami de Cavalls which was so peaceful in winter and visiting the beaches which were quiet and beautifully unspoiled.The food was amazing, traditional Menorcan dishes made at home with fresh ingredients, and sharing meals together was honestly one of my favourite parts of the whole experience. What I appreciated most was the calmness of the island in December which made learning Spanish feel relaxed and genuinely enjoyable rather than stressful.Staying with Monica turned this programme into something truly authentic and meaningful. I would highly recommend SHIP to anyone who values nature, culture and a warm and personal homestay environment.

My global internship experience in Madrid, Spain, with Absolute Internship made my summer unforgettable! Absolute provided an easy transition during the travel process and the start of my internship experience. The internship placement process was smooth and provided professional and cultural growth.

As a second-year distance-learning Horticultural Engineering student, I joined the ASA for their 8-week academic internship at Finca Las Piedras in the rainy season. Coming from Europe, a whole new world opened up to me. From day one, I was constantly learning about tropical plants, animals, and how the ecosystem works. The quiet early days and living close to nature gave me time for self-discovery, while also letting me experience the local culture and community. On weekends, I explored the region, visited nearby towns, and even went to Machu Picchu. I never expected that as a student I would do my own field research. Focusing on the tropical fruit Cupuaçu was a great springboard for my future career. I saw firsthand that ASA doesn't try to save the rainforest from an office—their work in habitat restoration and conservation is real, hands-on action. I am very grateful to Joana Reyes for her mentorship. I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to gain real experience and build their future!

From the first moment I opened the IVHQ website, I was impressed with how easy the site was to navigate. Everything was well organized and the online active agent was so pleasant. IVHQ helped me throughout the entire process by answering all my questions, providing lists of things to read and information on how to prepare for my volunteer trip. I was set up with a program manager who was so helpful and continued to be in contact with me from the start to the end of my experience. I did my internship in Japan during the summer. It was a bit difficult to find a company related to my area, but AIP made it possible and helped me find a good place. I had a really good experience and learned a lot from working in a different environment and living in another country. I would definitely recommend a program like this if you have the chance. It’s a great way to experience another culture, learn new things, and gain experience that can help improve your professional profile.

My trip to Nicaragua with Give volunteers that I took in June 2026 was a wonderful and life changing experience. All four of our guides were so great and they truly cared about making a genuine connection with me and the other volunteers. We all had so much fun together because the itinerary was never bland and neither were the people I met. One minute we would be helping the local people and environment of Jiquilillo and the next we’d be surfing the waves of the pacific. I made connections with so many locals that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I had such a wonderful experience working at Teeling Whiskey Distillery in Dublin. The staff were all so genuinely nice and made me feel right at home. Rotating through the cafe, reception, and the back bar allowed me to understand all the different phases of a working distillery, and meeting the bosses was a great addition to the program. Dublin attracts so much tourism, I really enjoyed meeting so many different people from all over the world at my work. It felt like a true mix of diversity, which allowed me to learn so many unique things from everyone I encountered. I was also incredibly glad to use my Mandarin skills to help out. On my days off, I had the best time exploring Dublin, traveling around Ireland, and adventuring into other European countries. It was a beautiful journey both professionally and personally!

My trip to the US was truly unforgettable! I enjoyed thrilling parks,explored fascinating museums,and experienced the vibrant culture and warm hospitality. Every moment was filled with adventure,learning and fun! Its a journey i highly recommend to everyone,you'll create memories that lasts a life time and gain a new perspective on life.. Don't miss out on the chance to explore the wonders USA!!!

I've been learning this school for a few months now, and it has improved my Mandarin very efficiently. I was self-learning for a couple of years off and on, and it felt like language learning was taking forever. When I started my classes with Teacher Sun Jane, she helped me in areas I struggled with, such as Pronunciation, and I noticed I improved very quickly. If you're serious about learning Mandarin, the program I would recommend. I am almost 25, and I wish I had started this program much younger!

Overall, I really enjoyed the summer courses. The teachers were very nice, and the courses very interesting. The field trips and class excursions helped me a lot in learning about local history and culture.

I had a really positive experience completing my TEFL course. The course content was informative, well-structured, and covered a wide range of topics that are important for teaching English effectively. The support and organization of IVHQ was strong and great. Traveling and volunteering with a family of five, with 3 Jr High School kids but was amazing. Very comfortable and things were laid out well, we all felt extremely safe and comfortable the entire experience.

Absolutely worth it. I learned alot. I applied for a job and got an interview the next day. Definitely an investment 👌 I think that the course work was very simple.The platform was easy to navigate.

This trip was life changing in so many aspects and I could not recommend it enough. We were culturally immersed in ways that were so raw and authentic and were able to build connections with the community through local guides and volunteer work. We trekked through multiple tribes and got to experience the different ways in which each lives as well as learn a part of their language and try to connect by doing Q&As and joining in traditional activities and dances. The itinerary was incredible and the team was unforgettable, I will forever cherish the connections I made through this trip.

This past summer I had the ultimate privilege of going abroad for a Marketing and Business Development Intern in Lisbon, Portugal. To say I had the one of the best summers of my life is an understatement, working in a city as beautiful and vibrant as Portugal was a such a rewarding experience both professionally and personally.

Overall I truly loved the program. I felt super comfortable and I give all of the credit to Expanish. From the moment I arrived at school until I left I really felt that they only had the best intentions for me.

It was very easy to go through the application process, complete all the steps, and be ready to volunteer in Costa Rica. All the support we received throughout the process made sure that we felt safe, prepared, and were making an impact on the local community. I would highly recommend IVHQ, and hope to do future volunteer missions with them.

My time in Madrid was the best three months of my life; I learned so much about myself and was able to meet a bunch of new people. I loved how easygoing Madrid was, from the transportation to how nice the people were. I was able to experience the Madrid culture and try new foods. It took a little bit to get used to the 9-hour time difference and the late dinners. I also loved how easy it was to travel around Europe because Madrid has easy access to trains and flights. Lastly, I had the best roommates and made lifelong memories. The Intern Group was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. More specifically, Lalita and Corinne were so helpful while being in Madrid. Anytime I had a question, they were able to answer it very quickly. Also, getting to be in a group with other interns made the experience a lot easier because we were able to connect and relate to each other's experiences. I was able to make lifelong friends with some of the people in the group. The Bubble (the company that I worked with) made it very welcoming and allowed me to ask any questions that I was unsure about. They gave me many hands-on tasks, which I am grateful for because I gained a lot of experience. Overall, Madrid makes it extremely easy to adapt to and is a great place to do an internship. There is always something to do, and you will 100% make lifelong memories and friendships.

I spent six weeks at LTL Taipei taking a 1-on-1 Chinese course. From the beginning, everything was easy and well organized. Communication before my arrival was smooth, the classes were great, and there were plenty of activities outside of class. Even though I had 1-on-1 lessons, I still got to know other students and teachers quite easily. The atmosphere at the school is very friendly and relaxed. There are many international students speaking English, and many people in Taipei speak good English as well. But if you make an effort to meet locals and use Chinese in everyday life, there are still plenty of opportunities to practice. Taipei itself is also a great city to study in—very convenient, easy to get around, and there’s always something to do. Just be prepared for the VERY hot and rainy weather in June/July! I had Jessica 老師 as my teacher, and she quickly understood my level and asked what I wanted to achieve. Although I had learned Simplified Chinese before, that wasn’t a problem at all. LTL Taipei teaches both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and I got used to Traditional much faster than I expected. Since my main goal was to refresh my Chinese and improve my speaking, Jessica adapted the lessons to me instead of just following the textbook. From day one, we spoke almost entirely in Chinese, which helped a lot with my listening and speaking. I had classes every morning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., but I never felt overwhelmed and the four hours always went by surprisingly quickly. Jessica was also very kind and supportive—she even brought me breakfast a few times! After six weeks, I could really feel that my Chinese had improved. There were different activities every week, such as Mahjong, karaoke, museums, cultural activities, and group lunches near the school. Sunny and Riona put so much effort into organizing everything. They were always friendly and approachable, and they definitely made the course more enjoyable! Alin organized my classes and found a teacher who was a really good match for me. Greta was also very helpful before and during my stay. I had some issues with my original homestay arrangement, and she took my concerns seriously and really tried to help find a solution, which I appreciated a lot. The only thing I think could be improved is the homestay program. From my own experience and from talking to other students, the quality of host families seems to vary quite a bit. It would be helpful to have more consistent standards regarding things like cleanliness, distance from the school, and how involved the host family is. I also think it would be better to get information about the homestay earlier. Considering the price, renting a private room or apartment nearby can sometimes be a better option. Of course, I’m sure there are also many great host families—it may just depend a little on luck. Overall, I’d definitely recommend LTL Taipei to anyone thinking about studying Chinese in Taiwan. I learned a lot in six weeks, met some really nice people, and had a great time. If I come back to Taipei, I’d definitely consider taking another course at LTL.

The team was incredible and every day was planned out so thoughtfully and organized. Just when I thought it couldn’t get better, it did and the connections I made on the trip feel lifelong. I learned so much not only about the culture but the spiritual connections between elephant and human and got to witness it first hand. I hope to go back soon because I don’t have enough words to describe the lessons I took away from this trip. I still cannot believe the things I did and saw and how incredible these creatures are up close. I also had the most incredible time with my guides, they kept us safe, made us laugh, and really made us feel like a part of their family and community.

I recently completed my TEFL course with The TEFL Academy and had a really positive experience. Completing the Level 3 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language has been a valuable and rewarding learning experience for me. My experience with Absolute Internship in Barcelona was truly unforgettable. I absolutely fell in love with Spain, from the culture and people to the lifestyle and beautiful city of Barcelona. Having Barcelona as my home base made the experience feel like I was truly living abroad rather than just visiting. I had a favorite supermarket where they knew and recognized me, and we would smile and wave everytime I passed by, a favorite pizza place, etc. Being able to go on weekend trips to other countries and come back to a home was amazing, rather than moving from hotel to hotel for 2 months. The public transportation made it so easy to explore the city and travel to other places throughout Barcelona, and we got a metro card so we didn't have to pay every time we wanted to move around. One of my favorite parts of the program was the people I met. I made some of my best friends through Absolute, and the memories we had are something I will never forget. I also loved my host company and coworkers, who made me feel welcomed, supported, and excited to go to work each day. The program coordinators were incredibly helpful and made the entire experience feel comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I also made friends who are locals, and I'm planning to go back and visit them.

The home stay was great, felt very welcome always and the food was great. I had a great time volunteering for this program. I did not know what to expect from Cusco and it was a cool way to throw myself out there and get out of my comfort zone. For people solo travelling alone, this program made it easy and comforting to do. I learned a lot and had lots of hands on experience.

I really enjoyed my volunteer experience with Maximo Nivel at the nursing home. The staff was welcoming, supportive, and made me feel like part of the team. While it wasn’t quite the hands-on medical experience I was expecting, it was still incredibly rewarding to spend time with the residents and learn more about the local culture and healthcare environment. The experience reminded me that compassionate care is about more than medical procedures. Overall, I had a great time, met amazing people, and would recommend this program to anyone looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity in Costa Rica.

Doing this TEFL course was just what I needed to send my life in a completely new direction. I appreciated the great course material, the subjects, how everything was laid out and the support that was available 24/7. This internship was a valuable experience that gave me practical exposure to the finance and operations side of the villa management industry. I enjoyed being able to work on real tasks, including financial reporting, data analysis, and learning how business decisions are made in a growing company. It was rewarding to see how the work I completed contributed to the team's daily operations. Beyond developing my technical skills, the internship also helped me grow professionally. I became more confident working in a business environment, improved my communication skills, and gained experience collaborating with colleagues from different backgrounds. Living and working in Bali also broadened my perspective and strengthened my adaptability. Overall, this internship gave me practical experience that supports my university studies and has better prepared me for my future career in finance.

I had the wonderful opportunity to study abroad in Malaga for the month of June, and I would recommend it to anyone considering it. There are a multitude of reasons why studying abroad is beneficial, but it is important to figure out why it's best for you. For me, being abroad gave me the time to learn new skills of independence and learn more about myself. It taught me how to be self-sufficient and to really grow into who I am. Additionally, Malaga was the most amazing city. It was relatively close to many other popular travel destinations (Sevilla, Granada, Nerja) and very accessible to other destinations via public transportation (for example, I went to Madrid on the train). There were endless options of amazing things to do, whether that be shop, go to the beach (there are SEVERAL nearby), hike, go to museums, etc. I also really enjoyed improving and practicing my Spanish. I came in with an already high base level of knowledge, but I got to improve my skills significantly. The best part of the trip was the amazing excursions we got to go on. Our resident director was amazing and all of the excursions were planned out perfectly with adequate time for us to do some exploring on our own as well. 10/10 would recommend!

I had a good experience with The Intern Group during my summer internship in Spain. They made the process of moving to a new country and starting an internship easier by providing support throughout the experience. My internship gave me valuable professional experience and allowed me to build on my skills. Beyond the internship, living in Madrid was an amazing opportunity to experience a new culture, meet new people, and travel around Europe. I was at LTL school in Chengdu and had Guo Xinyue as my teacher. She is the best teacher I’ve ever had across high school university and now language school. The program is extremely flexible and takes into account your personal needs and level, and the teacher is so kind and even when I got sick helped me navigate China! Even giving me a present to take to my parents upon leaving the school! Couldn’t recommend the school and Guo Xinyue enough! Really will accelerate your language skills in a short time. The atmosphere and friendliness of all the staff and students also stood out.

I just wrapped up a 2-week Chinese program at LTL Language School in Kunming, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. She is remarkably experienced, exceptionally patient, always positive, and came to every single lesson thoroughly well-prepared. She knew exactly how to tailor the material to my pace while pushing me to expand my speaking confidence and vocabulary. I spent six months in Bangkok on an internship organized through AIP, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. AIP played a vital role in advancing my professional path: they handled every detail with great efficiency and successfully placed me with an excellent company that aligned perfectly with my career goals. ​The apartment provided for the entire duration of my stay was in a highly convenient location, making daily commuting and exploring the city effortless. I am especially grateful to my coordinator, Nisha, who was absolutely wonderful throughout the process. She was always available to assist me with any concerns or questions, regardless of the time of day. I highly recommend AIP to anyone looking for a seamless, well-supported overseas internship!

Stage-Global made the entire visa process much easier, which allowed me to focus on preparing for the move instead of worrying about paperwork. If you are considering a J-1 program, I'd say go for it.

Overall, the preparation process went smoothly, and everything was well organized. I am satisfied with the overall service and support. The Stage-Global team was very supportive at every step and provided clear instructions and guidance throughout the process.

My experience with Asia Internship Program was amazing from start to finish. I had very specific requirements for my internship, including finding an unpaid position that was longer than 8 weeks and focused on nonprofit or legal work rather than English teaching. While the placement process took some time, Jeff Oo was incredibly professional and reassuring throughout the process. He was honest about updates, never gave false hope, and made sure he was finding opportunities that were truly the right fit for me rather than rushing the process. Once I arrived in Taiwan, Nisha Shahi and Roro Lee were also incredibly supportive. Nisha helped arrange my transportation to and from the airport, answered my questions quickly when I was settling into my accommodation, and regularly checked in to make sure I was doing well. Their support made moving to a new country feel much less overwhelming. The internship itself exceeded my expectations, and I felt welcomed and comfortable as a queer Black student. I’m incredibly grateful for the care, professionalism, and effort the AIP team put into making this experience successful. I would highly recommend Asia Internship Program to any student looking for an international internship experience!

I had the honor of joining LTL as one of the first students at their newly opened Osaka school, and from day one, I felt right at home. The teachers and staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely engaged with their students. I’d studied Japanese for several months back home before arriving, but I learned more in just two weeks at LTL (4 hours of group classes plus 2 hours of individual lessons daily) than I had in all that time. I also appreciated that they rotate teachers rather than assigning just one — it kept things exciting, since I got to learn from different teaching styles and perspectives. Learning doesn’t stop when class ends. LTL organizes plenty of excursions and get-togethers to practice Japanese with locals — festival outings, dinners, a beach trip, origami, calligraphy, and more. Classes group students of the same proficiency level but from a range of backgrounds and ages, which made studying even more enjoyable since I was learning about other cultures alongside the language. Accommodation-wise, I stayed in a private apartment, while some classmates opted for a host family — both seemed to work out well, and everyone I spoke to was happy with their choice

This 2 month experience I just got was genuinely the best decision I have made while in college so far. It completely changed my perspective on how it is to live in Southeast Asia, and I believe that with the right opportunity, I would live in Singapore for a couple of years. I lived my host company and the culture they have. The best part of the program was all of the new relationships I was able to build, and the weekend trips we took helped a lot with that. I was honestly sadder to leave Singapore more than I was excited to get back to the United States.

The experience of volunteering at Daktari was incredible. The discipline of sticking to a schedule, caring for the animals, and supporting the children during lessons is something truly special. Although my time here was short, those days were excellent. The environment is comfortable, the food is delicious, the other volunteers are welcoming, the educational system is highly efficient, and the animals are very well cared for. I thank the company Exchange do Bem for providing this experience with full support and guidance, and I also thank the Daktari family for welcoming me and teaching me so much during these seven days of volunteering.

I would highly recommend choosing this Chinese school program. I get lots of support from the school. I always felt cared for in every aspect of the program. I feel like I learned so much during every class with my teacher, Anna Wang. She understood my pace of study and provided ample review to ensure I was comprehending the information.Thank you so much for your support.

The program 100% met my expectations. I learned so much even in just four weeks. I would definitely recommend it to others; the program is also very flexible. I actually got my nudibranch awareness diver certification, which isn't part of the program, but I was interested in it, so I worked with the amazing people there to get it. The best part, as obvious as it is, was the diving. I loved learning new skills, but being able to apply them underwater was next level. I've definitely unlocked a new obsession. If you want to be a confident diver and learn about coral health and marine life, this program is for you :)

I honestly had a pretty solid time. It’s always been a dream of mine to do something this crazy like living and working abroad. My company was super nice and my work hours were super nice too. Most everyone was flexible with my needs and assisting me when needed. I was a research invest analyst so, they have work/positions for every major. So if an Interview doesn’t go as planned there will be more opportunities. The only downside was that I would finish my work sometimes too quickly and would not have anything to do but that’s not the case for most interns. Other interns that were here often had to work weekends. My company was super laid back and often treated me and my colleagues to lunch and dinner. As long as you make the effort to communicate with them even if you don’t speak Korean fluently they will see the effort and do the same for you.

Stage-Global definitely took away the stress of having to figure out everything regarding the visa. That helped me a lot and gave me more time to focus on other things when planning to go to the United States.

I was teaching kids in Costa Rica and it was so much fun the people there were really nice and always smiling. I made many friends in the time that I was here and I always was busy with fun exciting stuff.

I did the teaching project in a community center for two weeks and it was an incredibly memorable experience; the people in San José are so lovely and I got to immerse in a lively culture through the students and the host family. Absolutely recommend this project!

This experience helped me gain a lot of insight in the healthcare system is like in a different country. I spent two months in Buenos Aires and it was wonderful with weekly events on the weekends coordinated by Brenda and Maru. I spent six months in Bangkok through an internship organized by AIP, and I am very grateful for the experience. The internship gave me the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience, broaden my perspective, and develop new skills in an international environment. It definitely opened new opportunities and was a very rewarding experience. AIP made the whole process much easier by organizing the internship placement and arranging accommodation before my arrival. The apartment was in a great location, making it easy to get to work and explore the city. As an engineering graduate from Milan, I wanted hands-on experience in manufacturing. GAC placed me with a tech company in Shenzhen where I worked on real production projects. Pilar was a wonderful host and an even better teacher. She was incredibly accommodating with health restrictions throughout the entire stay and always made sure we had everything we needed without any fuss.Her course was genuinely the best Spanish classes I have ever taken. I learned more in three weeks here than I did in three years of high school Spanish and I left feeling genuinely confident in my ability to speak beyond a basic level and with a real understanding of how the language actually works.The location also gave me the opportunity to go on some brilliant hikes which I took full advantage of. The nature around Gilet is so different from what I am used to at home and I loved exploring and experiencing something completely new in the surrounding countryside.The cooking was wonderful throughout and the excursions Pilar organised were all fantastic. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning but honestly it is a small price to pay for such a brilliant overall experience.

I’m so glad I joined the Management Training Program with RMC Asia! I learned a lot while training at a 5-star Marriott hotel in Phuket, but honestly the experience was so much more than just work. It helped me become more confident, meet amazing people, and experience what it's like to work in an international environment. Putney Student Travel’s Career Costa Rica program was the most rewarding experience of my life. In many cases, it was my first time doing so many things that I wouldn’t typically imagine myself doing, such as snorkeling, adobe construction, night hikes in the middle of the rainforest and sea turtle patrols. Alongside the incredible activities, the lodging was also amazing. We stayed in numerous eco-lodges (each with similar sleeping arrangements to attending camp; 1-4 per room) that gave us the opportunity to experience some form of luxury while still immersing ourselves in local Costa Rican beauty. Each location also offered incredible Tico, American and some Italian food with vegetarian options. We dined alongside each other at a family-style table for all three meals of the day and occasional snack. We genuinely were like family and I felt fully supported by both the students and staff. I honestly miss everyone so much already (it’s been a week). The group leaders were also very chill and shared so much wisdom about the customs, culture and different wildlife we encountered. In one instance, a student had to be taken to the doctor and it was a smooth process, with the kid being able to receive appropriate care. However, the worst part of the program was probably the late nights and early mornings during the few days that we were helping out with sea turtle night patrols. I truly had a blast and sincerely hope that I am able to travel again with Putney. From the commute there to our very last moments together, I don’t have a single regret.

When I first arrived alot had happened that caused me to be stressed and regret ever going abroad, but the Fubis staff was there to help me refind my footing, with quick responses to pressing questions, fun experiences that allowed me to temporarily forget my worries, a counselor to help me work through my problems and find solutions to balance my mental health. The dorms also had a great vibe, full of friendly people that built a great community I don’t think I could have survived without.

Although I have spent the past ten years teaching a variety of subjects in English to middle and high school ESL learners, I found myself learning something new every day throughout my course with The TEFL Academy. I came into the program with considerable classroom experience, but it helped me refine my teaching methods, strengthen my understanding of language pedagogy, and fill in gaps that always made me feel like an imposter. To use a slightly corny analogy, I was like a sponge that looked full but still had plenty of room to absorb new knowledge and skills. The course challenged me to think more intentionally about how I teach, not just what I teach. I have already accepted a teaching position in Central Asia and will be leaving in two weeks. Thanks to this course, I feel well prepared to step into my new classroom. While there will be cultural lessons to learn once I arrive, I know I have the foundation and strategies needed to succeed. I can’t say enough good things about this study abroad internship program in Japan. From day one, the support team went above and beyond — helping with everything from housing logistics to navigating cultural norms at the workplace, to just checking in to see how I was adjusting. Whenever I hit a snag (and there were a few, since everything was so new!), someone was always just a message away with real, helpful guidance. Working abroad completely shifted how I see the world and myself. Culturally, I learned to appreciate the nuance in Japanese communication styles — the emphasis on harmony, indirectness, and reading context that isn’t always spelled out. It pushed me to be more observant and adaptable in ways I didn’t expect. Professionally, it was just as transformative. I picked up a whole new appreciation for structure, teamwork, and attention to detail in a Japanese work environment, and it’s changed how I approach collaboration and problem-solving even now that I’m back home. This program didn’t just give me work experience — it gave me a completely new lens for how I think about both my career and myself. I got the chance to have a six week internship in Seoul, South Korea thanks to AIP, and it was one of the best things I’ve ever done! All the AIP staff were beyond accommodating and always made sure we had everything we needed to feel prepared and comfortable navigating such a new environment. Herlyn, Daisie, Jinwoo, Tyler, and Nisha were all wonderful and made my time abroad just that much more special. I absolutely loved my internship placement and would do it again in a heartbeat. Before purchasing this course I was concerned about the time needed to complete it, content, and what the experience would be like as my first online course. I was more than satisfied with how straightforward taking and finishing the course was, and was able go through each module during my free time, completing the course within a week. Joining The Intern Group's architecture internship program in Madrid, Spain was one of the best decisions I've ever made. What started as an opportunity to gain international work experience became a journey of personal growth, cultural immersion, and lifelong memories. During my internship, I worked in a professional architecture firm where I was exposed to real-world projects, collaborated with experienced architects, and learned how design practices differ in an international setting. It strengthened both my technical and communication skills while teaching me how to adapt to a multicultural workplace. Living in Madrid was equally rewarding. The accommodation was clean, safe, and conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to commute to work and explore the city. Madrid itself is vibrant, walkable, and rich in history, and I loved spending weekends visiting museums, parks, cafés, and nearby cities. The Intern Group also organized social events that made it easy to connect with interns from all over the world, many of whom I still keep in touch with today. One thing I appreciated most was how this experience pushed me outside my comfort zone. Moving to another country, navigating daily life in a different language, and balancing work with travel helped me become more independent, resilient, and confident. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to provide even more structured networking opportunities or career development workshops tailored to different industries. That said, the overall support from The Intern Group was excellent, and I always felt that there was someone I could reach out to whenever I needed assistance. When my parents first told me we were going to take Vietnamese lessons while traveling in Saigon, I was honestly dreading it so much. I already go to regular school all day, so the absolute last thing I wanted to do was sit in another boring classroom during my free time, memorizing weird words from a giant textbook while my friends were out having fun. But I am writing this review because going to LTL Language School was actually the complete opposite of what I expected, and I literally ended up loving it so much! The whole vibe at the school is just really cool and not stressful at all. My teacher was a funny girl and she was seriously the best teacher I have ever had. I was super nervous on the first day because Vietnamese sounds really hard with all the different tones, and I was scared I was going to sound silly or embarrass myself. But the second she walked in, she made a random joke and created these made up characters to learn with, and I immediately knew the class was going to be fun. She just had this super bubbly and hilarious personality that made you actually want to pay attention. She didn’t treat me like a little kid, but she also didn’t make it super strict and serious like my normal school classes. The thing I loved the absolute most was how she actually taught us the new words. Instead of just writing a super long list of vocabulary on the whiteboard and making me copy them down and read it out loud, she used all these amazing illustrations to go along with the vocabs as well. Every time we had to learn a new word, there was a cute or funny drawing to go with it. Like, when we were learning the words for different animals and food, she had these flashcards with the funniest cartoon pictures on them. There was this one illustration of a creature call zebranana that made me laugh so hard, and I still remember that the word "cá ngựa chuối" just because of that drawing! Sometimes she would even draw things on the board herself, and she would purposely make them look goofy so we would remember them better. It made learning the vocabulary feel way more like reading a comic book or playing a fun game than actually studying. I am a very visual person, so seeing the pictures right next to the words helped me memorize them so much faster. I even started doodling my own little pictures in my notebook next to my vocabulary lists, and she totally encouraged it and would even give me funny ideas for what to draw next. She was also so, so helpful when it came to practicing speaking. Vietnamese tones are honestly really tricky, and sometimes my voice would go up when it was supposed to go down, and I would accidentally say something completely wrong. But she never ever made me feel bad about it. If I messed up, she would just laugh with me—not at me—and then we would practice saying it together slowly until I finally got it right. She would make up these funny little rhythms or hand motions to help me remember which way my voice was supposed to go, and we would just sit there repeating them and giggling. She made practicing feel like hanging out with an older sister rather than taking a test. She would also ask me about my day and my hobbies, and then teach me the words for the things I actually cared about, like my favorite food or activity or how to put those in a sentence, instead of just making me learn random words I would never actually use in real life. By the time my course was over, I was actually really sad to leave. I can literally go to the local convenience store now and buy my own snacks, or say thank you and hello to the guards at our apartment building, and they always look so surprised and happy when I speak to them! I feel so much more confident living in Vietnam now. If you are a kid or a teenager and your parents are making you learn Vietnamese, tell them to sign you up at LTL Saigon. It is actually so much fun, the teachers are incredibly nice and funny, and you will learn so much without even feeling like you are doing homework. Studying at the University of Sussex as a Spanish exchange student has been one of the best experiences of my life. I felt welcomed from the very beginning, and the lecturers were always supportive and approachable. The campus is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and Brighton is an amazing city full of culture and opportunities. I also met incredible people from all over the world, which helped me grow both personally and academically. From the very beginning, the entire process of finding my internship was incredibly smooth and well organized, which made everything much less stressful. This was an amazing experience to immerse myself in a new culture while also gaining work experience. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to both travel and work in a professional setting. Dublin has a great city life, and it is also easy to travel to other European countries

I chose to have group class lessons for 3 days + 1 day of private lessons per week so that I could still have time to travel around and chill (since this was also a vacation for me). The class was small so everyone had the time to speak and practice the new topics. At the same time in group classes you have the chance to meet other students and that’s what happens to me. In the private class I chose to focus on conversation since it’s what I can’t do at home and it was very useful too. Since my level is still quite low at first I felt like I couldn’t understand one thing the teacher was saying. Little by little I think I improved a bit even though the road is still long!

I'm studying at the Xmandarin Qingdao campus. We have three 2-hour classes per week, taught entirely in Mandarin. Students are placed in small groups according to their language level, which allows for great practice and personal support from the teachers. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs real guidance to improve their Mandarin

Meeting the people in my flat really changed my experiences. They were so kind. I was lucky with my internship with having people supporting me and also wanting to get to know me. I highly recommend this to someone.

I had a really good experience with AIP, especially with my agent, Jeff. My situation was a bit complicated because I had to return to my home country to renew my U.S. visa before travelling to Malaysia, but Jeff understood everything and guided me through the process. He stayed in contact, answered my questions, helped arrange interviews, and found a company that suited me. Even after I arrived in Malaysia, the AIP team checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well. I really appreciated how supportive and available they were throughout the whole experience.

I honestly thought that taking extra language classes after my regular school day was going to be the most boring thing in the entire world, but studying Vietnamese at LTL Language School in Saigon turned out to be the absolute highlight of my week. When my parents first signed me up, I was picturing a super strict classroom where I would have to stare at a giant textbook and repeat grammar rules until my brain turned to mush. But it was nothing like that at all! My teacher was this really cool, energetic girl who instantly made the classroom feel like a fun hangout spot instead of a boring school. I was super nervous on the first day because Vietnamese sounds really hard with all the different tones, and I was terrified of sounding silly when I tried speaking. But the second she walked in, she just had this super bubbly and hilarious personality that made me actually want to pay attention. She realized right away that sitting still and just reading pages wasn't going to work for me, so she completely changed the way I learned. The whole process was so interactive and packed with so many activities that I usually forgot I was even studying. Instead of giving me long, boring lists of words to memorize, she used the most amazing flashcards to make everything stick in my head. She would bring in these huge stacks of colorful flashcards and we would all make our own flashcards as well. Every time we had to learn a new word, there was a cute or funny drawing to go with it. Because I am a very visual person, seeing the pictures right next to the words helped me memorize them so much faster. I never had to go home and stare at a boring vocabulary list because I could just close my eyes and remember the funny cartoon on the flashcard. She even let me make my own flashcards sometimes, and I would doodle my own little pictures on blank cards with colorful markers. She totally encouraged it and would help me come up with silly ways to draw the new vocabulary words. It made learning the words feel way more like working on a fun art project than actually doing homework. She was always coming up with creative mini-games to make the learning process feel super exciting. We played so many different mini-games that the time always just flew by. One of my favorites was saying a word at the same time as the other, if got different answers we have to make sentence with it. I had to shout the word out loud with the perfect tone to keep the points and to make sure the other said the same thing. Sometimes we played memory games where she would say a word and the rest has to repeat and add more words after, we eventually forget most of them at the end because there were too many , but it was good for the brain to memorize them this way.something using only the Vietnamese words I had already learned. We even played mini-games to help me get the hang of the crazy tones. She made learning fun ! We were constantly laughing, and she never made me feel bad if I forgot a word or messed up a sentence during a game. If I got something wrong, we would just giggle about it, and she would shuffle the flashcards and let me try again. Because of all these fun methods and mini-games, my brain just absorbed the vocabulary so naturally. I actually know how to speak quite a bit of Vietnamese now, and I can confidently order my own drinks or buy my own snacks at the convenience store near my apartment. The whole learning process at LTL was just incredible because my teacher put so much effort into making sure I was always engaged, smiling, and actually enjoying myself. If you are my age and your parents want you to learn the language without feeling like you are trapped in summer school, I really recommend this place because you will end up having the best time while learning so much. I spent two weeks in Valencia and the first week was with another school entirely. The second week was with Pilar on her immersion course and honestly it brought the joy of learning Spanish completely back for me.She kept things interesting by focusing on Spanish that I would actually use in my everyday life rather than just what a textbook says you should learn. She kept things challenging by having dinners entirely in Spanish and stepping in to help whenever we got stuck. And she kept things fun by introducing us to her family and taking us all around Valencia together.She was endlessly patient with me too, repeating things again and again as I worked out what I was actually hearing. On top of all of that she is a fabulous host and a wonderful cook. Thank you for a brilliant week Pilar.

Warriors Academy has been one of the greatest adventures of my life. Through exciting outdoor challenges and unforgettable experiences, I’ve developed valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, resilience, and adventure activities. Every day has pushed me to grow beyond my comfort zone while doing what I love most. The incredible people, the breathtaking experiences, and the constant opportunities to learn have made my time at Warriors Academy the time of my life.

I was in Paris with Absolute summer 2026. I found the program coordinators super attentive and helpful. I watched them jump in when other students were sick or upset or having logistical issues with traveling. The housing was fine, clean and safe but a little small with very little storage. There were several opportunities to go on weekend or day trips and explore the city with coordinators. The internships I heard about and that I had were fine, no one had a terrible experience. But you definitely will be working full time, it’s very rare to get a day off outside of weekends.

I went to Shanghai, Chengdu and Kunming LTL and really had a great experience in travel and language learning. All the teachers brought a vast level of experience and technique to assist in contrasting learning techniques. All were professional and really helpful. I really enjoyed my experience with every single one. Thank you to Alessandra who assisted with the technical glitches for orientation and prep-meeting scheduling. She was able to assist in getting me into contact with all the staff I needed to speak with. In Shanghai, I had Kristin J and Kaka. Chengdu; Ziyin and Kunming; Teacher Helene. The opportunity to travel while learning was an experience that I would love to repeat. Especially Kunming, where the weather is lovely and the scenery peaceful. I highly recommend the programme there, Director Savannah is very professional and values communication. The organised school gatherings are well thought out, interesting and different to usual experiences. Teacher Helene is especially helpful, she identifies any areas you need assistance and works on those areas. She really wants you to succeed in learning Chinese by understanding the culture, text and translating those into real life experiences and you can feel she is highly experienced. Note: The cafe culture across China is different to western cultures, you can study there most of the day. This is extremely helpful to understand prior to coming to China for planned study.

My 16-year-old son spent 4 weeks in Beijing with GAC's summer camp. He was nervous at first, but his homestay family made him feel at home immediately. He learned real Mandarin, not just textbook phrases. The weekend trips to the Great Wall and Summer Palace were unforgettable for him. He came back more confident and independent. Already planning to go back for a gap year. Thank you GAC for this life-changing experience.

I did a year abroad from Australia at Sussex and it was genuinely an amazing year. Sussex is so progressive and community based, that there’s no ‘upper echelon’ groups or unapproachable people. Everyone at the uni is easy to talk to and friendly. Making friends was so easy. I joined the Salsa society; one out of literally a million choices of societies. Also, I’d argue that Sussex is as good as it is because you get to be abroad in Brighton. There’s no other city like it, so full of love and quirk. There’s ALWAYS something going on too, be it live music or festivals or arts or community activities. So bloody good and I’d go again in a heartbeat. Everybody really is in the same boat in Brighton and at Sussex, you’ll never feel judged.

I went to Ghana as my second GLA program, we were so warmly welcomed into the community as we taught at the local schools, played in the park with the children and were welcomed into local homes to learn the language. The teaching at the school however was the highlight of the trip, we got to know all our students well and teach them some new things, like songs and harder vocab. I would definitely recommend!!

I spent 8 weeks in Seoul with Beyond Academy and overall had a really positive experience. The programme was a great opportunity to gain professional experience in Korea while also developing my confidence working in an international environment. The company organised a range of activities and events for interns, which made it easy to meet other people on the programme and experience different parts of Seoul together. Both the Beyond Academy staff and other interns were very friendly and supportive. The internship also gave me useful professional experience and helped me better understand working culture in Korea, as well as giving me something valuable to take forward in my future career. Although I had to leave my internship partway through due to personal circumstances, I chose to remain in Korea and Beyond Academy were very understanding and supportive of my situation, which I really appreciated. One thing I would recommend to future interns is to keep in mind that internship placements can be a bit hit or miss depending on the company and role. If possible, I would recommend doing a few interviews and considering different offers rather than accepting the first placement you are offered. Overall, though, Beyond Academy provided a friendly and well-supported way to experience working and living in Seoul.

The IEC Working Holidays process can be daunting when you are first researching it. Ashley Ragus and the rest of the team at InterExchange made the whole process so seamless and easy to understand, from start to finish. Ashley is so supportive, kind, and extremely communicative. We met with her a number of times and she and the rest of the team guided us through every step of the process so we never felt confused. The instructions that InterExchange provided were super clear and easy to follow. Deadlines and triple-checking everything in your application is super important. It's also important to take all of pre-border crossing prep work seriously, and do it right – you will thank yourself later. It's been a dream of ours for a long time to live and work in Canada, and it feels surreal to be experiencing that now - thanks to InterExchange. I highly recommend InterExchange – 10/10 experience. My time in Seoul was extremely memorable, from the people I met, to the adventures I had, it was quite literally the most exciting time of my life. The program had a lot of weekend trips, and opportunities to interact with the other interns, and chances to explore, so I really appreciated being able to see South Korea the way I was able to. From initially not knowing anyone in the program, to being able to recognize everyone by name, my time in Korea was not wasted !

Taking part in the Spanish immersion programme at Santiago's home in Menorca was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed into his warm and cosy home and that set the tone perfectly for what turned out to be a truly immersive and personalised language learning experience.The one on one lessons were tailored to my individual needs which meant steady and meaningful progress throughout my stay. Living with a native Spanish speaker on the beautiful island of Menorca was such a unique opportunity. Daily interactions in Spanish gave me constant chances to practise and improve and Santiago's patience and encouragement made the whole process enjoyable and effective. His passion for teaching and his expertise in the language were clear in every single session.Exploring Menorca's stunning landscapes and rich culture with Santiago as a guide was a real highlight. From breathtaking beaches to historic sites I gained a much deeper appreciation for the island's history and traditions. The programme gave me an authentic experience that went so far beyond language learning and allowed me to connect with the local community in a meaningful way.If you are looking for an unforgettable way to learn Spanish while enjoying the beauty of the Balearic Islands this programme is an excellent choice. I could not recommend it more highly.

I had such a great time, the program leaders were super helpful with living situations adjusting to the different aspects here and all my professors were awesome. They all cared a lot about the courses and wanted me to succeed and do better! They excursions that they provide are also super fun and you should go on as many as possible.

This program was an amazing experience and gave me the chance to travel to Spain while improving my Spanish. Living with a host family helped me learn about the culture, and the classes were fun, interactive, and easy to follow. I also enjoyed exploring different cities and trying new foods with the group. Overall, I would definitely recommend this program to anyone looking to study abroad, meet new people, and create unforgettable memories.

So, there are of course imperfections, but I won't dwell on those considering it was thirty bucks or something. For instance, it'd be nice to have the option for longer or more specialized courses, but this is standard from what I read pre-course. Things work well and there are good resources to power through.

I have had a pleasurable time so far enrolled in the FUBiS summer program with FU Berlin. A well organized program in which I feel supported by their team. My courses are quite in depth for just 1 term of instruction and I feel I am learning a lot. I really enjoy excursion days, through them I have gotten to know the city a lot more and spent quality time considering my class topics. They are always available to help which has been a positive experience for me!

My time at the FUBiS program at Freie Universität Berlin was an amazing experience. It was not just about studying—it was a truly special time that opened my eyes to the world and gave me memories I will treasure forever. First of all, the academic part of the program was wonderful. The classes had a very well-structured curriculum, which made learning both clear and exciting. The professors were passionate and encouraging, so I was able to enjoy every single lecture without feeling overwhelmed. Active class discussions and well-planned activities helped me stay fully engaged and learn a lot in a short amount of time. Beyond the classroom, the best part of the program was meeting wonderful people from all over the world. We had great discussions in class, and after school, we explored Berlin together. Talking with friends from different countries and sharing our daily lives helped me learn so much about various cultures and broad worldviews. Also, Germany’s location in Europe was perfect for traveling! Thanks to its central position, my new friends and I were able to take exciting weekend trips to neighboring cities and countries. Traveling together, seeing new places, trying local food, and making great memories was pure happiness. Even though I was far from home, I felt so happy and comfortable because I had such kind and fun friends around me. Making friends from around the world, taking well-organized classes, and traveling across Europe made my FUBiS journey an unforgettable gift. If you want to experience great education, meet fantastic people, and enjoy traveling, I highly recommend the FUBiS program!

This GLA program was such a life changing experience for me. During the trip I not only learned about different cultures, but I meet so many awesome new people. The other students I meet on this trip, I still talk to often. This trip allowed me to take into consideration what future careers I may be interested in. The staff were amazing and made the experience so much better. I would recommend this trip to everyone.

I had so much fun at Putney on my Greece and Italy trip. My leaders were well-educated and made the experience so much fun. The students that were with me were kind and inclusive and I came home with so many new friends. Overall, I loved my experience with Putney and am planning to come back next year.

Completing an internship through Absolute Internship was an amazing experience! Not only did I get to go to a bakery and see the Eiffel Tower every day, but I got to experience Paris in a way that I would not have been able to do by myself. Being able to truly experience Paris by being a member of the working society, taking my daily commutes, and hanging out in "local" spots was unmatched. Absolute did a great job supporting me throughout the whole process, from the placement to the on-site experience.

My time with beyond academy was amazing. I went to NYC for 6 weeks and honestly it was an adventure I will never forget. The community team was so helpful and the activities they planned were super fun. 100% worth it if you’re thinking of an internship abroad.

I loved my time in Cape Town. Two months was a great amount of time, although I think staying for two and a half to three months would have allowed me to experience even more than I did. I really appreciated how the VACorps program was structured, it provided plenty of support while still giving us the freedom to explore independently. The two-week orientation was a highlight, and I made friendships that I know will last well beyond my time here. From day one, the VACorps staff made me feel welcomed, comfortable, and supported. My internship with a community-based organization gave me the opportunity to learn by observing experienced professionals and seeing how their work made a difference. One of the biggest lessons I took away was that you don't need to have the biggest role to make a meaningful impact. That realization gave me a new appreciation for teamwork and the importance of every contribution, no matter how small it may seem.

I think Fubis has been amazing. The whole university has made me feel a lot of things. Their teachers and professors are so nice and intelligent while the program is nuts. I do feel I have learned a lot from Fubis and from Berlin. I hope I could come back again in the future.

I started going to LTL Osaka in the beginning of July 2026. From the beginning, Hiyori Ito, the Director of Studies, was very helpful and was ready to answer any questions that I had as I arrived in Japan. Hiyori planned one to two weekly events with students that ranged from a field trip or a meal with students. This made it really easy to make friends and experience Japanese culture in a way I wouldn't have had the opportunity without these adventures. Additionally, I learned so much from the teachers at LTL Osaka. Going in, I had finished the first 6 lessons of Genki I textbook, and quickly finished the textbook after about 2-3 weeks. Although the pace is fast, I found it very easy to adjust. I had the privilege of having one-on-one lessons where I was in more control of what I learned, and what I wanted to focus on. Sometimes if I felt that I had not grasped a concept completely, I would just have a review day with a teacher, or if I wanted to just practice my Japanese and have a conversation, that was an option too. I would recommend this school if your goal with the Japanese language is to gain conversational skills, immerse yourself in the culture, learn more about the grammar, or even for those who are traveling. LTL really allows you to customize your learning experience, even when you start, which was one of the main selling points for me when I was considering LTL among other schools. If your goal is to pass the JLPT in as little time as possible, that is still achievable with LTL, however, I think that one would need to do a lot of outside studying as well. Despite all of the teachers at LTL being exceptional, the ones that I would like to highlight are Nanaho, Kagawa, Tanaka, and Junichi. Each one brought their own unique teaching style which really exposed me to the various aspects of the Japanese language and culture. With Nanaho sensei, we focused on vocabulary and she ensured that I understood a grammar point. If I was confused I was not afraid to ask her a question and found it very easy to talk to her. We laughed all the time and she would even join me in dancing to songs on our 10 minute breaks. In Kagawa sensei’s class, we only talked in Japanese. She talked at a slower pace and used vocabulary words that I knew, so that I could understand her. I got a lot of Japanese conversation practice with her, often not using the exercises within a textbook, instead putting them into a real world context. Tanaka sensei really helped me understand and practice short forms in Japanese and we often ended the last hour to thirty minutes focusing on kanji. I remember laughing all the time and having a very positive experience with her. I have to attribute a large part of my flow improvement to Junichi sensei. When first speaking, he noticed that I had trouble with the flow of the Japanese language. He helped me through speech exercises and helped me find the rhythm within the language. All of these teachers were outstanding and I enjoyed having various teachers because each one taught in their own way and helped me improve in many different aspects. Furthermore, I stayed with a host family for the duration of my time at LTL. One of my concerns when going into this journey was whether or not the homestay would be clean and safe. The homestay exceeded my expectations and Hiyori would always ask me about what was happening in the homestay and if I needed anything. I could not recommend this program enough. If you are considering attending LTL Osaka school, I think that this could be the best decision in your Japanese language journey. I would love to return in the future.

The program I was enrolled in was unavailable to review on this platform, but I was more focused on learning amazonian arts from the Ecuadorian people. I learned a lot about how to derive materials from plants and the earth, including how to harvest and purify clay, how to make fibers from the pita leaf, and which plants or minerals could be used as natural pigments for dyeing or painting fabric, a painting surface, or skin. I also learned how to make many artesanias with the natural fibers, how to make glasses and bowls from various woods and fruits from the trees, and traditional pottery techniques. I also learned about the natural medicinal properties of many plants, and about more environmental topics. I painted a mural for my community's business and learned about the gastronomy of the area and how the farming influences it as well.

Summer, my teacher, taught me a lot about chinese language and Chinese culture, she was always ready to help, even with things unrelated to school. I was just a beginner, but i feel I've improved a lot in just 2 weeks.

I enjoyed my internship in Japan a lot. I got to experience the culture, the business environment, and meet new people. I gained a lot of independence from this experience, and I would recommend it to others!

I had the most incredible and life altering experience of my life with the Forensics - Wildlife & Conservation internship in South Africa. I have so many favorite moments I can’t even keep track. To someone that is undecided about whether or not to do this, I say DO IT. I have never met such an incredible group of people (both as friends and mentors). I feel like in two weeks I lived a lifetime and have never learned so much in such little time. Out of all the lessons I learned, I have to say the one that has been the most pronounced is that learning about a world so different from your own opens your eyes to the beauties and flaws in your own life. Thank you infinitely to Intern Abroad HQ for the most fulfilling experience of my life.

I decided to do this course although I have been teaching for some time now. I thought it might open a few doors or at least give me a fresh idea of new teaching ideas. I absolutely loved the course and think that I should be able to increase career opportunities despite my age!! I have learned some brilliant information and was disappointed when I realised how quickly I had finished!

As a student at San Diego State University, I had an incredible experience with Absolute Internship. They placed me at a business law firm in Paris, where I got to do real substantive work, legal research, translation, contract analysis, and document drafting, rather than just fetching coffee. The program handled the logistics seamlessly, so I could focus on making the most of the experience. Living and working in Paris pushed me out of my comfort zone and gave me a genuine sense of what it’s like to practice law internationally. I’d recommend Absolute Internship to any student looking to gain real professional experience abroad.

My experience at FUBiS has been amazing. The hole organization team was available in every moment, I appreciate all the activities that they proposed to us during the Term III. Particularly I liked the "Pathways to a better future" classes because of the professor's experience and topic knowledge. I knew Berlin as a tourist but coming here for a full month was a really nice and new experience for me. The experience of sharing dorm and being surrounded by people of different nationalities was the best part of this time and I hope to do not forget the amazing moments that I have had with the ones that now I can call, my new friends.

I've been studying Chinese with That's Mandarin now for 5 months and have enjoyed it. The teacher is good and it's easy to schedule online classes to fit my schedule. The online tool helps to review previous classes and topics.

I had an amazing time learning Chinese this school, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough—especially if you’re a beginner like I was. I started as an absolute beginner, and the combination of group classes and one on one lessons was perfect for me. The group classes were motivating and fun, and it was great to learn together with others. The 1 on 1 classes really helped me focus on my own pace and personal weaknesses. Looking back, I’d probably go for only 1 on 1 classes in the future, because I feel I’d benefit even more from that level of personal attention. I really like this school very much.

My experience studying abroad in Costa Rica was truly unforgettable, and I am so grateful for the support and opportunities provided by my program. I was able to contribute to meaningful projects while learning how organizations operate across different cultures. Beyond the professional experience, living abroad helped me become more independent, adaptable, and confident. I was able to explore a new country, connect with people from different backgrounds, and step outside of my comfort zone. The support provided by Absolute Internship made the transition into an international experience much smoother. I would highly recommend Absolute Internship to any student looking to gain career experience, expand their global perspective, and create lifelong memories. This program is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to develop professionally while experiencing a new culture.

I went to Tanzania, Africa. By far my favorite trip I’ve ever taken in my life. I feel as I have a whole new family and a second home. The guides and locals were so welcoming and friendly. The others on the trip were in the same boat as me so I was very comfortable and happy. I will for sure be taking another trip with GIVE volunteers. 100/10 experience, if you think you wanna do it, don’t think, just go for it!

RICH summer camp was one of the best holidays I have had in my life. The people around me, staff and students included were all very nice, and all supported me when I couldn’t understand something. The lessons weren’t nearly as bad as I was imagining, and were often very fun. The staff gave us lots of independence, such as letting us do what we wanted in a shopping mall, or allowing us to play football in our free time. This was an incredible experience that I would recommend to anyone wanting to learn Chinese.

During my time abroad, I really fell in love with the career of speech, language pathology, and it made me a lot more excited to pursue my education. I was able to get firsthand experience in what speech pathology looks like in many different ways and I would’ve never had an opportunity like this if I didn’t sign up for Therapy Abroad

Everything went well with no surprises. You pay, get an account started, then you're free to learn. I watched quite a few lessons and have to disagree with a review I read of the course (unless they've changed the vidos) - there's no AI video voices...not that it would really have mattered to me, but AI did ironically bring it up to me as a potential negative. I did the 120-hour course rather than the longer one, so perhaps that's the culprit, but the 120 has real voices. The culture unit was interesting but I'd say they all taught me many new things, so I'm good with it all. I didn't get my own tutor, but two different tutors did respond to my questions pretty sharp. That's me. It's a good course.

This course was amazing, from the easy accessible links, toto great video modules. This course was very educational and super helpful in gaining some confidence on this new educational journey. Will probably enroll in another course as I build my experience:)

Going to Saint Malo was one of the most memorable experience of my life. Everyday was packed with events and joy. Although it was just three weeks, I left Saint-Malo with incredible gifts in my heart - more confidence in speaking French, friends and a new family. I was very lucky to have had such a supportive host family. She was very thoughtful and entertaining, and she was the one who supported me linguistically and mentally throughout the stay. She even introduced to me a game that I fell in love with called, “rummikub” which I bought for myself as soon as I get back home. I met so many new friends from around the world, who I still stay in touch and FaceTime. I cannot speak fluent French, which lead to so many miscommunications, but still as I spoke more, it naturally started to stick to my brain. I had so many challenges, but looking back now, that all became a part of the amazing memories I have. I would highly recommend this program to any high schoolers who is eager to push themselves out of their comfort level to learn a language while having fun! One advice I would give is to bring card games. It can be a conversation starter even if your not good at the language. I felt my improvement in French the most when I interacted with my host family. It doesn't have to be card games, but anything that you can bring to the table and have fun with is a must-bring.

My trip to the Big Island of Hawai’i changed my life and the way that I connect with my inner humanity. Yes, I got to go on amazing adventures like snorkeling with sea turtles, climbing a volcano and seeing it actually erupt, chasing waterfalls, exploring caves and black sand beaches, and so much more. But what made it all worth it was the relationships that I created and the wisdom that I received by living and working alongside the locals. Our project hosts gave me so many life tools with the completion of every project and our guides, Traven, Jordan, and Liv, where there to help our group every step of the way. Every time I pulled an invasive species out of the Earth, I pulled invasive thoughts out of my head. Every time I removed waste from the coastlines, I removed waste within myself. And every time I learned more of the Native’s wisdom, I unlearned the American norm of making a living and relearned the human beauty in making a life. I recommend this life altering trip to anyone and everyone. I felt so safe, so guided, and so changed the entire time. Thank you to the locals of the Big Island for welcoming me as family, my new ‘ohana that I found in my fellow volunteers, and GIVE for helping to make a trip like this possible.

The staff in charge of the program were very helpful in trying to assist students. However for my program, there were only 2 placement groups:beginner and advanced. For me, I didn’t fit into either the groups. The advance was too hard and the beginner group was super basic. For example it only covered basic concepts such as greetings.

My first experience as a volunteer abroad and I precisely picked upbio up because they seemed serious committed and professional. I wasn't wrong! Their project is effective and they are making a difference. I'm glad I have been part of this for a while.

My experience abroad is fine it's just the class I'd like to give a review regarding the curriculum, I was told it would be a more oral chinese based class and really it's just another HSK textbook read through which doesn't help for life in china unfortunately, also it's only once a week I'm not sure if its the same for all private classes but really that's not enough to learn and retain information, just for the price of it I kind of expected more

Beyond Academy gives college students the opportunity to have an unforgettable experience in a new place as well as concrete work experience both for a more complete resume and sharper skills to apply in your career. I met some amazing people and developed a great relationship with my host company. If you need an internship, a new and unfamiliar setting to promote growth, or a new group of friends beyond academy is the place to put your trust in. It challenged me to adapt quickly, build confidence, and gain valuable experience that will benefit me long after the internship ended.

One of my favorite parts of this program was seeing how healthcare is delivered in a resource-constrained environments. The hospital rotations exposed me to conditions such as severe malaria that are uncommon in the United States, and I was inspired by how healthcare teams provided excellent patient care despite limited resources. The Global Health seminars helped me better understand how factors such as poverty, access to healthcare, and healthcare infrastructure influence patient outcomes. I also enjoyed exploring Mombasa! I left Kenya with a greater appreciation for global health, new friendships, and lessons that I know will carry with me throughout my medical career.

Me and my wife are planning to buy a place in Mexico next fall, so we joined the Iguana Abroad Spanish immersion program to brush up on our Spanish before making the big move. Iguana Abroad was everything we could have hoped for in a Spanish immersion program. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. We had several video calls with Harry, the program director, before we flew out, and he answered all our questions about arriving in Mexico, what to pack, and what to expect once we got there. I'd already been to Mexico several times—mostly to Baja, but also a couple of trips to Mérida—so I had a rough idea of what to expect. It was my wife's first visit, though, and both of our Spanish levels were pretty basic, so improving our confidence was one of our main goals. From the moment Harry and Hugo met us at the airport, they made us feel welcome. Even on the drive into Cuernavaca we found ourselves chatting with the driver in Spanish. We made plenty of mistakes, but nobody minded, and that really helped us relax. By the end of the first few days we were already speaking much more Spanish than we expected. If you're looking for a true immersion experience, this really is one. We thought the accommodation was basic but perfectly comfortable for what we needed. We had hot water, a swimming pool in the garden, and a simple rustic room. Nothing luxurious, but it was a great place to come back to and relax after a full day of classes and activities. We'd like to extend our warmest thanks to the entire Iguana Abroad team for giving us such a memorable experience. We made great friends, improved our Spanish far more than we expected, and came away feeling much more confident about our plans to move to Mexico. Hopefully we'll see you guys again once we're settled in Mexico this November. Hasta pronto!

I had a lot of fun and got to go on trips (apart from the program, mostly) to see a lot of awesome places during the weekends this summer. I learned a lot more Spanish and improved my speaking pace, while also being able to understand a lot more and at a much quicker listening pace as well. That is the thing I think I am most proud of is my improvements with the language. But I am glad I studied abroad because it also gave me a LOT of opportunities to get out of my comfort zone and try new things. I have grown a lot as a person even in just 2 and a half months here. The nature and wildlife here are incredible and worth seeing.

it was an amazing experience, I had a great time and made many new meaningful connections that I never would have been able to make anywhere else. Overall, I would highly recommend this experience as it is truly eye opening and will change your life.

I had so much fun. Learning and having fun but most importantly I got to open up my mind and see what the world has to offer. After some time I got used to the same routine everyday and I feel like this trip made me step out of what am used to and be a better person with better mentality and different plans

I loved being able to experience a work culture so different from mine and also being able to travel around in the days off or after work. It was really nice to have the accommodation already prepared.

I did not expect to learn this much from the program! I was super happy with how everything was paced and I feel like I’m truly ready to teach now. I also enjoyed the self-paced aspect because I could do the course in the evenings after work.

I graduated in international business from Lyon and wanted real experience in Asia. GAC placed me with a logistics company in Shanghai's Pudong district. I worked on real projects – analyzing supply chains, negotiating with suppliers, and presenting to clients. My mentor taught me how Chinese business culture works – fast, direct, and relationship-driven. The team handled my visa, found me a great apartment, and checked in regularly. Three months later, I returned to France with a job offer. Best decision I ever made.

This program gave me the perfect balance of clinical learning and adventure, with the safari being one of the highlights of my trip. It was my first time seeing elephants, lions, giraffes, and so many other incredible animals in the wild, making it an experience that I will always cherish.

I learned so much about the countries I went to, but I learned even more about myself! I honestly was not prepared for the magnificence of that side of the world, and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to travel with Bethel. It was the most amazing experience, and I could not have asked for a better program or chaperone to guide me the entire time!

I spent two weeks in Guatemala with Maximo Nivel. My Spanish level was minimal when I arrived. I felt like I was able to have a basic conversation and move around the city with the Spanish I learned. My homestay was very nice, and the staff here solved any issues I had; I would definitely do it again.

Best summer I have ever had the classes were so fun especially the sailing class ! The best part was all of the new friends I made and being able to travel ever weekend with them and explore Europe! I would do it again if I could !

I spent a week in total immersion with Pilar, a Spanish teacher based near Valencia, and it was a genuinely excellent experience from start to finish.The lessons were outstanding. Pilar adapts perfectly to the level of her student and structures her classes around topics and themes that you actually choose yourself, always using current and relevant vocabulary that applies directly to everyday conversation. It never felt like studying in the traditional sense.The accommodation was perfect too. The house is spacious, calm and surrounded by nature. And beyond being a wonderful teacher Pilar is also a fantastic cook who introduces you to the real flavours of the region.In the afternoons I enjoyed walks and visits to the surrounding area with Pilar. I got to discover Valencia city and the beautiful beaches around Gilet. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to improve their Spanish in a warm, personal and genuinely effective setting.

My study abroad trip to Shanghai was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The city is full of energy, with an amazing mix of modern skyscrapers and rich cultural history. Every day felt like a new adventure, whether I was exploring local markets, trying authentic Chinese food, walking along the Bund, or visiting beautiful temples and gardens. One of the most rewarding parts of the trip was experiencing a different culture firsthand and meeting people from around the world. It helped me become more independent, confident, and open-minded. I also learned so much about China’s history, traditions, and daily life in a way that you simply can’t learn from a classroom.

The medical internship was amazing. I interned at Hogar Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza and was able to be fully immersed in Costa Rican culture by participating in La Romería with the patients. In addition, I was able to learn so many medical terms in Spanish and was able to do many hands-on patient care activities within the clinic.

This experience was my first time in South America and I couldn´t have wished for a more satisfying visit. Maximo was very helpfull in any inquiries I had and provided a tremendous amount of aid with city life, exploration, and my construction project. Finally, my host family was great and made me feel comfortable and welcomed me to the new country.

I was a little skeptical about what I was getting into when I signed up for this program but I am so so so glad that I gave it a shot. I learned so much about the history and culture of Greece while also seeing how PTs and clinic operate in different areas outside the US. I met so many amazing people, and the staff on the trip were so helpful and involved and truly wanted us to have the best time. I am beyond grateful for the experience and the connections that I made on this trip. Definitely would recommend going to anyone that is questioning it!

It was such an amazing trip and I’m so glad I got to go on it. I say that everyone so try out for it. You never know you might just go to Europe. So all in all always try out for it you have such a amazing time

This program was a great experience and developed my work skills by making me more confident in a fast paced environment. Additionally, it helped my sociability by helping me connect with others. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

This trip has taught me so many things. It has taught me to never shy away from an opportunity. It has taught me to be more empathetic and understanding of others. But most importantly it has brought me friends I will cherish for the rest of my life.

I really enjoyed my time with The Intern Group! I got to meet amazing people and go on some pretty cool excursions. I loved my job placement and would definitely recommend the program to anyone looking for an opportunity abroad!

San Sebastián is a great place to study abroad if you live diverse cultures and languages, great food, great wine and cider, and many more factors. Right in the heart of the Basque Country, it has much to offer. You can go out for a nice night with your friends and have Pintxos and drinks, or visit the nearby towns that hold much cultural significance. No matter what you decide to do, you won’t be disappointed!

best time ever, everything was great. saw amazing things, and was able to do amazing things. The host house was amazing with really cool people. We were able to do our own thing and that made my trip just amazing. Maximo was just great.

Honestly, I went into this with no expectations and then was really surprised with the beauty of peru. We got to see evey hike that we wanted to see, and they were all so beautiful! I also got a great room allocation with a lot of friends and made new ones as well! My first time in South America was such a different experience toi what I had known before and I was happy to contribute, if only for such a short time to this project.

The whole city of Cusco along with the Volunteer Abroad doing construction was an experience I will never forget, and one that changed how I view everyday life. Looking at the lived experiences of individuals in Cusco and Peru as a whole really changed my perspective. Overall, doing construction, living in Cusco, and experiencing the culture was unforgettable.

My experience in Dublin was life changing. I had the best time exploring the city, making life long friends and my placement was fantastic. I was working with like minded people, that were passionate about what they did and wanted to share that passion with me. Outside of work the EC’s are the best people to talk to about where to go and what to see around the city, they really help bump the trip up to the next level.

I have traveled before and Iove to experience new cultures. Learning spanish, talking to the locals, and getting to know everyone at Maximo Nivel was amazing! The staff were patient and listened whenever I had a problem, the tourism mixed with volunteering was a perfect mix. I learned so much from the children I taught and the teachers I got to know. I really loved the enviroment and feel this is a place anyone could thrive. Would not suggest coming for just one week, the longer you stay the better as theres so much to do, see, and learn!

It was the best time of my life. I was able to learn so much not only from the amazing teachers but also from the welcoming community of Alicante. The field trips were also very fun, and ended with the most beautiful views of the ocean and the city. I am forever grateful for this opportunity and genuinely encourage everyone to study abroad at one point in their college career.

Going to Bengaluru was an amazing time. I truly enjoyed the classes, the campus, and all of the inclusive cultural immersion that was included in my program. My program director was a great help at all times, and I truly consider him a great friend now. I wish I could have done an entire semester instead of just the summer program. It was a wonderful trip but it really felt too short!

I had a fabulous time staying with Pilar in Valencia. When you start using what you have learned in the classroom or online in a real Spanish environment it just comes to life and becomes genuinely fun in a way that studying alone never quite manages.We had our lessons each morning on the beautiful terrace of Pilar's home at the foot of the hills and then headed out to one of many wonderful places to put everything into practice in the real world.Valencia is a stunning city with so much history as well as some spectacular modern landmarks. The food was absolutely fantastic throughout and everyone should try horchata and a proper local fish paella at least once in their life. The old market is also a wonderful place to pick up local delicacies and souvenirs.Pilar's home is spacious, comfortable and close to Sagunto, an ancient town with fascinating Roman history. She is a brilliant host and an inspiring teacher and I would recommend this experience to anyone.

Wonderful people, caring staff, beautiful experience . Been a couple different locations, same experience, just different longitude. And the locals, and local workers part of family. I'm not sure i know 200 words, O, 200 characters, some can repeat, got it. Interaction on free time with other volunteers, enjoyable, educational. Everyone you meet knows something you don't know( especially me) so listen with passion.Looking forward to next available program.Hopi g for many natural disasters to occur, of course with no injuries or community damage, which I'm guessing could still be a program? The corse was amazing. I have been teaching for a couple years now on the level 3 cert and i was looking for a refresher and i for sure found that and a lot more within the Level 5 course. I didn't expect the level of information that i was going to learn.

During my stay here, the teachers and organization were exceptionally professional and constantly checked in on me to ensure everything was up to standard. The curriculum was professionally curated, and as a student I was allowed to ask to hone in on certain aspects if I had any confusion. If youre considering studying here, I would recommend taking private classes, as it ensures progression will match your own pace. Overall, 5 stars across the board :)
