Studying with Kaplan was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I improved my English so much faster than I expected, but what I loved most was how international and immersive everything felt. I met people from all over the world and felt like I was truly living the language every day.

Teachers, programs, destinations... everything was great :) I studied French in Nice and the coastal vibes where amazing. You really get to be in an immersive environment and you get know a lot of people!

Loved how easy and accessible the course was! I love knowing I will always have something to fall back on. It was a great way to get my qualification quickly and be able to apply within the May cohort.

My time in Thailand was fulfilling in both my private life and work life. This trip helped me strep out of my comfort zone in many ways than I realised when I got back. Professionally I developed a new sense of confidence as I got to teach both children and teachers english and the whole experience was learning experience for me. This trip was a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to some parts of Thailand you wouldn't normally venture into on a vacation. We got to experience Thailand in different modes( by road, by boat and by bike) I was blessed to have a cool cohort, we all got along and helped each other thrive. Experiencing Thai cuisine was on the top of the list for to do things before I travelled and I enjoyed it. I loved the fact that there is always food stalls everywhere was amazing to me. Shopping at markets gave me a knew skill of haggling prices which is encouraged. Overall I came back with a new and renewed confidence when I travel. Having the opportunity to travel alone help me explore a side of myself as I got to go around taking pictures on cameras. Thailand infrastructure and the colours of the buildings, temples all make it the best place for photography. This programme is a good recommendation for anyone as it changes your life in many ways than you would know.

I have loved my time abroad in Shanghai learning Mandarin. The school is a fun and welcoming environment where you are taught to effectively apply your language skills to everyday life. I feel very lucky to have had this opportunity and to have met some amazing people here.

The school has really nice classrooms, a beautiful coffee area and also great teachers. Our teacher is specially good，she is very patient。The way they teach is very different from other courses I know.

That's Mandarin is a great combination of very good teachers and a dynamic platform. It's really good to receive good guidance from online teachers and be able to return to the lesson content as many times as I want, especially to practice pronunciation and revisit the videos. It is outstanding!

This was my second time volunteering for IVHQ. IVHQ makes the volunteer experience seamless. If you are new to volunteering like I am, IVHQ makes it easier. They have local contacts who will make sure you are safe. My host family in Jordan was amazing. It was my first time in that region and I was so nervous before my arrival. From the local pickup, to the host family, and the locals themselves—they all made my experience very pleasant and educational. If you are having second thoughts about volunteering, just do it!
