I very definitely appreciated and benefited from this program largely because of the quality of the curriculum, teachers and no less important, the immersion aspect of the program offered by Maximo Nivel. Maximo Nivel's On-site TEFL course is such a valuable experience. The course is challenging but extremely rewarding. I have had practical teaching experience ever since the first few days of the course. Today is my last day and I can say with confidence that this course has made me a better teacher. The TEFL trainers are highly trained and experienced ESL teachers. Lewis Murphy is an amazing trainer. He has offered me all the tools I needed throughout this journey to succeed. The course is well crafted and put together and all the content is extremely relevant. The final week of the course was the most challenging and still, the best thing I have experienced: I got to teach a class for 5 days. I was responsible for all the planning and executing of the lessons for learners of all different ages and levels. During this week, you receive honest feedback to help you improve. The job-finding assistance is very helpful and effective and led me to find a great job in Honduras. The job placement guarantee is real IF you meet the criteria listed on Maximo Nivel's website. If you are serious about becoming an ESL teacher and are willing to work hard, I recommend this course with no hesitation!

My experience with this TEFL Certification course was amazing. The course itself was difficult and a lot of work but very rewarding. Work load wise, we completed two papers, a variety of required readings, and 10 hours of practical teaching. I felt at the end that I was thoroughly ready to be a good teacher. Taking this course and living in Costa Rica, I always felt safe, never had any problems in the area, and everything went smoothly.
