In parts of Cusco, young boys and girls face poverty, discrimination, crime, family violence, and inadequate access to healthcare and education. Maximo Nivel's volunteer projects work with local leaders to address some of these issues and create a safe space for kids to learn, play, and live full, healthy lives.
International volunteers assist with after-school programs and community centers, working alongside local staff to lead sports and recreational activities, support with homework, and promote daily health and wellness habits.
