Online Chinese Language Courses

Ive had classes in this site for almost 2 years and ehat i like the most is the range of schedule available with diferent teachers. Since one class is 45 minutes the teachers keep it eficient and concise. Another point i have to praise is the positive reinforcement i have in classes, mandarin is a hard lenguage to start learning, this has lead me in multiple ocasions to feel like im stuck but the teachers quickly made realize that was not the case with constructive critism. The quality-price is well balance, with dinamic, qualitative classes and trained profesionals i feel like the price of this course is fair.

I've been really happy with my experience at That's Mandarin. Communication and admin were excellent from the start, and everything was clear in the run-up to the course. I'd originally planned to take classes in person, but when my plans suddenly changed, the school was flexible and accommodating, and switching to online classes was no problem at all. The teaching is excellent. The materials, including the videos, are really well prepared, and the shared online notes are very useful. I've had two teachers and both have been outstanding. They've helped me understand how to actually use new vocabulary in everyday conversation. I'd definitely recommend That's Mandarin's online classes: they're flexible, efficient, friendly and effective.

I am so glad I signed up for Chinese lessons with That’s Mandarin. I have made so much progress already in just a couple of months. My teacher is outstanding. She is extremely professional - always organised for class and using different types of activities to teach me. But she is also very fun and I look forward to our lessons every week. When you decide to study Mandarin, you know you are in for hard time. Nihaocafe has taken the worst bite out it by organising thematic lessons with enough vocabulary to get you through a conversation. The APP supporting you features 2 invaluable aids: the vocabulary list with flashcards en the grammar cards. While the teachers each have their distinct teaching methods, their aim is transmitting their knowledge at your pace. Questions are answered patiently making sure you capture properly and when you get completely tangled up, they call for a time out so you can catch your breath again. Feedback is provided on a regular basis and painpoints are picked up in class for reexplanation. Studying with Nihaocafe is a pleasure. (But it does remain a difficult language 😁)

The course has been incredibly informative - the teachers get through a lot of content within each class, but strike an excellent balance between a good pace and pushing you to apply your new knowledge, all while maintaining a friendly yet professional atmosphere. Additionally, the wealth of resources provided via the app make studying so much easier and I have really been able to notice the progress I've made over the months since starting!

Before taking classes at Nihao Cafe, I tried online platforms for chinese however I could not find a school that was a good fit for me. I have been taking one class a week for a little over 3 months and so far they are best option for learning chinese online. I really like the way classes are structured and that I have the option to go back to review material from past classes. The teachers at Nihao cafe are very professional and encouraging. I’m really happy with my experience so far and would definitely recommend Nihao Cafe to anyone looking to learn Chinese online.

I am slowly learning new words every class and use it in conversations. My teacher is very patient with me since I usually choose the topic I want to learn. I always look forward to my classes and the team is very helpful whenever I encounter difficulty in the online platform or have changes in my schedules.

I can’t recommend That’s Mandarin and NihaoCafe enough! I long wanted to learn Chinese but was always scared to begin. The tones and characters felt overwhelming for a beginner. Learning online through NihaoCafe is incredibly convenient. No travelling, and I can schedule classes flexibly around my schedule. After just over a dozen beginner lessons, my anxiety about Chinese has disappeared. My teacher，Jin Laoshi is patient and supportive, making speaking practice feel easy.
