In the 22th of may 2025 I was sent to a marathon in Ifrane city Morocco, as a medical staff (physiotherapist) and it was a big challenge for me as the marathon called "trail des cèdres" was a big events that has more than 200 participants , we worked all day all night and it was absolutely tremendous , the participants most of theme was big hight level athletes, our job was to do sport massage and to relaxed the muscles for the next day of the marathon. Is was such a wonderful 3 days of work with a whole staff of doctors , physiotherapists and osteopathische also.

I would love to thank everyone who played/ plays a role on my internship program in the United States. I would love to let you know that I am more than happy at The Union Club Hotel, people are so nice and supportive. I have met other J1's from other countries, it's so nice to learn about other cultures, when we have time we travel, cook and participate in various fun activities. I am so thankful to Alliance Abroad for giving me such a wonderful opportunity, even though i faced some difficulties,AAG stood by me moved things around, set me up with the a placement in one of the finest luxury hotels in the world, The St.Regis Resort Aspen, they helped and guided me all the way. I’ve been here for 3 months now and so far my experience has been Superb from my first Halloween to first Thanksgiving ! First White Christmas upcoming?. Alongside , I get to learn new skills and meet a lot of people from locals to all around the world through this program . Thanks to AAG for making this all possible.

Upon looking for a language school to learn Spanish, there were many options and too many choices. However, after attending Instituto Hemingway for a 4-week intensive course; I knew I had definitely made the right decision. When I first arrived in Bilbao, I felt as though I would never make friends but on my first day of classes, I met some of the most interesting people and some of my best friends. Every day I looked forward to seeing my friends at the school and the teachers as well. All of the teachers were excellent and I learned more Spanish in 4 weeks than I have in 8 years of taking other Spanish classes. No matter what question I had, they were always willing to answer it in complete detail, which helped improve my Spanish tremendously! Instituto Hemingway also has an excellent location, as my commute was only 5 minutes walking distance! There are great restaurants and shopping near the school, which I loved especially. Great location, beautiful school, awesome teachers, and an all-around fantastic experience! Definitely Instituto Hemingway is MUST if you want to learn Spanish! Please forget about typical locations on the media to learn Spanish. Go and get out of confort area!. After 4 weeks learning Spanish then I took an internship in video production with them and just loved it from the very first minute!! In my opinion a Spanish course for 4 weeks followed by an internship for 3 months is an ideal program.

Pros Absolutely everything about my internship experience was amazing. The people were welcoming, location is prime, and the cafeteria area is always stocked with food/coffee. Fun and creative office space, friendly employees, generous employee discount, superb company culture, etc Cons Couldn't think of even one con.

I really liked the teachers. The are very dedicated and funny. The location of the school is very good not far from the metro station. What I also liked is the design of the classes, very creative. If you choose Instituto Hemingway Spanish School to learn Spanish, be prepared that there are events every day. The atmosphere is very friendly. You then can combine it with an internship for some weeks/months. This internship enabled me to develop my future profession skills, and provided a lot of fun at the same time. I understood how it really is to teach someone, inspire and engage into the world of knowledge. My work was very pleasant, and thanks to my superiors, I didn't feel any pressure at all, which only made me more creative and kept my internship experience at highest level! If you are ready to experience similar endevours, don't think twice and go for it! :)

I greatly enjoyed my time in Bilbao traveling with Instituto Hemingway. Our program itinerary included the perfect combination of service, tourism, and cultural immersion. The program was excellent. Classes, excursions and activities were well organized. I loved staying with a host family as it was an experience that gave me a glimpse into the every day lives of the locals, as well as an opportunity to use and improve my Spanish! Our chef, Gorka was absolutely phenomenal! He was very knowledgable and experienced, and her presence made the trip even more enjoyable! I can't wait to return to the beautiful country of Spain!

At the beginning, my cooking skills were very low, but thanks to the solid organization and professionalism of my teachers, I was able to cook as a professional chef. The teachers and I got along very well as they are without exception very friendly and polite. Besides their tremendous experience in teaching and undoubtful professional competence, you feel their dedication to teach the students new things and enjoy learning a new language. And above all, they have been very patient with me, which I really admire. I enjoyed the cooking lessons, the internship in a fantastic restaurant, night life and Spanish lessons. Accommodation was really next to our School. Everything was very convenient and affordable. My resume is upgraded and after this experience in Bilbao I found a great position in my home country.

Recently, I was involved in a promotion that just changed my perspective of life. Experiencing complex and knowledgful circumstances, I highlighted all the outcomes and captivated the best of them. I got introduced to fine dining. My manager Sam voluntarily offered us wine tastings to learn about our cellar. It captured my attention. I developed a passion towards hospitality and i want bring my skills to a superior level.

The atmosphere of Instituto Hemingway was extremely beneficial. The teachers were kind, helpful, and amazing to be around. Their lesson plans not only taught me the Spanish language, but about the people and the culture itself. The eye-opening trips are something that I will never forget, the beauty within the country is simply stunning, The history and legends of Bilbao are truly remarkable. I learned so much in only a few days! Instituto Hemingway´s program is welcoming, caring, and helpful to those wanting to learn the Spanish language and culture. As to wines I must say I learnt everything involved to the wine industry: harvesting, crushing and pressing, fermentation, clarification, and aging and bottling. I was living in a village in the Ribera del Duero region. i lived in a family run-business I can´t wait to return there.

This company has an incredible staff. It is not just a website you can apply for an internship, they actively ask how are you doing and help you with anything you may need. I was assisted during the whole process, having received suggestions for doing interviews and also what to do before moving to the city. Thanks to Instituto Hemingway I had the best 6 months of my life in the most beautiful city in the world. I’m so grateful to them for all of their help and would recommend them to anybody!

I just finished with this program in Nov and it was a fantastic experience. Chef Thomas is an absolute joy! He is always filled with light and makes coming to class everyday, easy. Bilbao is not a bad place to have a backdrop either, incredible beaches, friendly people and lots to do! I am glad to have chosen this location, lots to see and the ocean is incredible. The chill environment in Bilbao provides a great backdrop for homework, or a fun night out. If you are debating this program, just do it, so worth the month and you have a blast doing it. You will have a great time with chef and your classmates while learning all the skills and practices to become an incredible Chef who knows now much more about Spanish cuisine than before. After finishing the program in Spain I have had 3 job interviews, and feel confident that at least 1 solid job offer will be made. Get it and travel the world!!

I just finished 4 weeks of Internship in Spain. It was my first time to visit a Spanish speaking country. Instittuo Hemingway arranged a wonderful teaching opportunity for me and beginning Spanish lessons with inspiring teachers. I felt extremely well cared for and supported by a very friendly, enthusiastic staff. I made many new friends from around the world and enjoyed weekend trips into the beautiful countryside. In the end, I know that I received more than I gave. I highlight the infrastructure and equipment, additional services such as English classes (in my case), cultural activities, among others, but above all, emphasized the team in each of the strata composing Hemingway is a high level professional and human, commitment to their work, empathy, warmth, the resolvent in the large and in detail to, among other things.

I went to Northern Spain through the Internship to work an internship for a local sports management firm and gain class credit and international work experience. While my primary focus was on the work I was doing for my internship, I also took Spanish classes with Instituto Hemingway 5 times a week in order to keep up with my Spanish as much as possible. The classes were excellent, extremely helpful and there were options for private or group classes. I never had a single problem with safety during my three months working in Northern Spain. Just like any city, you need to pay attention to what's going on around you, but I walked almost everywhere I went (work, language exchanges, classes and bars) and never had a problem. I also loved my housing arrangements. During my time working and studying there, I lived in a five-bedroom, 2 bathrooms.. I had my own room which included a bed, desk, nightstand and wardrobe closet. In addition, my apartment was located right near a bus stop and a metro station.

All the time spent in the kitchen was absolutely great. I learned how to create better dishes and gained knowledge of how to combine ingredients. I got to work on my knife skills, plating and production. During the language program, the experience with the host family was amazing and all of the teachers at the school were very friendly. One of the most rewarding times in my life. I wish I could live in Spain! Everyone was so friendly, the staff plus my roommates. I had so much fun not only learning new cooking techniques but travelling the country and visiting different sites as well as sampling the great french cuisine. I have friends for life now from all over the world. And also a lifetime of great memories The services that Instituto Hemingway provided are very good. The program was nothing short of exceptional and something I'll always remember.

In my opinion, classes, teachers, location, Internship, facilities and activities are very good. All the premises are clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the teachers were very professional. The time I spent in Bilbao was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. At the beginning I was worried because I decided to travel alone, but when I arrived in Instituto Hemingway I met people that were more than acquaintances. People at the front desk are friendly and available for each doubt or piece of advice you need. Teachers are very good and every lesson is absolutely useful. Two of the best things I remember with so much love are the amazing and astonishing city. Each side has a particular story to tell and every traveller is driven by a passionate feeling of wholeness with it. The second are friends that I met there. I'm already in contact with most of them and we promised to see again each other in the next future, and possibly repeat this amazing experience at Instituto Hemingway again. The third thing is how much I learnt about cooking world in Spain. The internship was perfectly located, and staff was friendly to me explaining all process about different dishes related to Spanish cuisine. It was so rewarding!! If I should give a grade from 0 to 10 to the whole experience, evaluating the school, the teachers and the overall service, it is absolutely a 10. Guys what are you waiting for?
