High School Study Abroad in Maui, Hawaii (USA)

Join us on a teen trip to Hawaii this summer and discover all four of the main Hawaiian Islands! Experience bustling and vibrant Oahu, enjoy meaningful service projects in beautiful Maui, relax and discover the dramatic landscape of lush Kauai, and explore active volcanoes on the Big Island on this once-in-a-lifetime Hawaii teen tour! Plenty of adventure will complement our service projects. Swim in secret waterfalls, sail alongside pods of dolphins, hike through lava tubes, snorkel with giant manta rays, take a surf lesson, and do so much more on this incredible journey to discover the best of Hawaii! The Hawaii Ultimate Adventure and Service trip is for teens finishing grades 9, 10, 11, and 12.

Experience Hawai‘i’s unparalleled biodiversity, volcanic landscapes, and deep cultural heritage on a hands-on service program across the Big Island and Maui. Work alongside local nonprofits and Native Hawaiian elders to restore fragile ecosystems, support cultural revitalization efforts, and learn the importance of malama ʻāina—caring for the land. Explore ancient agricultural systems, help remove invasive species, and participate in workshops rooted in Hawaiian tradition. Between service days, snorkel with manta rays, hike coastal trails, learn to surf, and reflect during a traditional closing ceremony.

Come experience this pre-college program for high school students on the campus of UCLA and get a sneak peek at college life! Explore your interests with a wide selection of enriching and engaging courses, and discover the best sights and activities in Los Angeles with your new friends. This high school summer program balances academic preparation, fun group excursions, and structured independence to help prepare teens for college and make new, lasting connections. Living and studying on the campus of UCLA, students will have access to incredible athletic facilities and be able to discover the collegiate energy of the Westwood Village neighborhood of Los Angeles. Participants can join us for 14, 21, or 32 days. Students in the 32-day program will enjoy a grand finale extension in Hawaii.
