Three of the best weeks of my life

Program: GoBeyond - British Virgin Islands - Service Program

This program not only gave me an opportunity to do so many incredible things, but I also met friends who will be at my side for a long time. Though the service projects were by far my favorite part, there was also enough fun to create a good balance with all of the work we were doing. There was also enough variety in the locations so that each service project came with new knowledge and understanding of the BVI and the people that live there. The talks and team building activities were so much fun for me because I love getting to know the people around me! Of all the team bonding, my favorite activity was Squeeze every night at dinner because it sparked really strong conversation and I loved being able to learn more about my shipmates through these questions

An experience to never forget

Program: GoBeyond - British Virgin Islands - Service Program

This year was my first summer with GoBeyond, however, I have done ActionQuest for two summers in a row. Although I love ActionQuest, after doing GoBeyond, I realized that action quest is just a camp. It is so much fun and the people are awesome, but it's a program for people who do not feel the need to repay the community and help to make it better. I love GoBeyond because helping put back the pieces of the island was so fulfilling. Not only was it hard work, but it was also fun. The people there make the experience so worthwhile and leaving GoBeyond this summer was so hard to do. My staff members were awesome!! They gave us the responsibility that ActionQuest did not and they were so supportive and uplifting. I 100% recommend GoBeyond!!
