Adelante Abroad provides students with study-abroad options in Edinburgh, Scotland, Seville, Spain, and Chile. Adelante offers two options for studying abroad in Seville, Spain: Option 1: 3 weeks of contemporary Spanish culture & Society courses (in Spanish) In Scotland, students may take on a 4-week Golf or Equine program. The Equine Program includes courses in equine anatomy and physiology, as well as equine fitness. In contrast, the Golf Program consists of the history of golf, golf coaching, and playtime at some of Scotland's famous courses. In Chile, students may choose between a 3-week winery program with Spanish classes included or an Astronomy Observation and Research program. The Winery program includes visits to Chilean vineyards, deep diving into the wine-making process, along with Spanish immersion. CIEE Summer Intern and Study Abroad are 6 to 7-credit, 6-week programs with a part-time internship (approximately 20 hours weekly), a seminar, and a 3-credit academic course. CIEE Semester Internships CIEE Semester Global Internships are 9 to 13-credit, 12-week programs that feature a full-time internship (approximately 30 hours weekly), a seminar, and an optional 3 to 4-credit academic course online. CIEE Semester Intern and Study Abroad Programs are 12 to 14-credit, 12-week programs that feature a part-time internship​ (approximately 20 hours weekly), a seminar, and two academic courses.

Individual programs are tailored by selecting from more than 100 elective subjects in English or Spanish across areas like Business, Communication, Medicine and Nursing, Law, Arts and Humanities, and Spanish and Catalan Language. Guarantee maximum flexibility! Programs are available all year round, with flexible timetables and no minimum duration. Students can add accommodation, meals, transport, cultural visits, and leisure activities.

This program is perfect for students with intermediate-level or higher Spanish skills who seek an authentic and immersive experience. Away from the crowds of American students who opt for more popular destinations, like Barcelona or Madrid, with us, you will find yourself fully immersed in the Spanish language and culture of La Coruña, Spain. At the beginning of the semester, you can optionally take an intensive Spanish language course to help prepare you for the semester abroad. You can take classes in your field of interest at an accredited public Spanish university. Most classes are taught in Spanish alongside Spanish students. While some courses are offered in English, we highly recommend taking on the challenge of studying in Spanish. If you need additional Spanish practice before the semester starts, you may combine our Summer Spanish Immersion program with the semester or year abroad program. You will be issued an official transcript, and we can assist you with obtaining transfer credit at your home institution. Adding a customized internship at a Spanish company alongside your studies is possible.
