Unlike many other study abroad programs, Athena offers its students programs that are focused on intense, cultural immersion which puts them in touch with the locals of their host country, elements of the host culture, and other international students from around the world to ensure a well-rounded, diverse experience.

The University Studies Abroad Consortium has provided university students with quality study abroad programs for almost 30 years. USAC is a non-profit, university-based organization with 40 program locations in 25 countries.

Whether you are pursuing a four-year degree or are seeking to study abroad, you will do so in the heart of Rome surrounded by the extraordinarily rich offerings of a city of culture, history, art, creativity, business and international affairs.

Live, study and intern abroad in the famous sun-kissed town of Sorrento, Italy in southern Italy. Take courses in Social Sciences, Business, Natural Science, Humanities, Italian Studies and Architecture. Course highlights include History of the Mafia, Vulcanology, Archaeology, Creative Writing and International Business. All courses are accredited through US partner institution.

Experience extraordinary art and architecture firsthand while living in a center of European history and culture, and work with renowned Cornell faculty. Courses are offered both fall and spring semesters in architectural design, history and theory, studio art, art history, contemporary Italian culture, and Italian language.
