The Car Design summer course in July provides an introduction to basic elements and tools, contemporary trends, and industrial challenges. It focuses deeply on the car designer's professional role. You’ll have the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge, and intellectual abilities to design new vehicles based on a clear understanding of proportion, volume, and surface design principles. You’ll talk with professionals and experience this career path through practical training, guided tours, and visits. Then, you’ll move forward into the modeling lab and, together with your classmates, produce a car design model. Projects will be subject to the groups' and teachers' critiques. This introductory-level course is designed for creative, flexible, open-minded students or professionals from other fields, as well as people interested in the world of automotive design, who do not have prior knowledge or experience. Skills such as drawing or sketching can be useful.
