Master's Program Transportation Design - IED Turin

The two-year Master’s Course in Transportation Design takes an in-depth look at the combination of form and function in the world of car design. It provides specialized education in car interior and exterior design, user interface, and user experience in a real working context in Turin, the world capital of the sector. Individually and as part of a team, you’ll develop an innovative, experimental, and highly technological mindset.

This unique course will help you cultivate an open-minded approach, enabling you to anticipate and revolutionize industry scenarios, and to imagine, create, and produce the interior and exterior of a full-scale car model in collaboration with a partner company. You’ll come into contact with aspects of production, user interface design, advanced manual and digital representation techniques, ergonomics, and vehicle architecture, as well as modeling techniques using dedicated software.

The increasing level of complexity will lead to a project brief in which you create a 1:1-scale model, concluding with an individual final project that expresses the creativity and techniques acquired.

This course is taught in English and starts each November.
