NISSII Christian Academy – Integrated Community Project in Kenya is dedicated to delivering high standards of teaching, training, and a supportive learning environment. The project actively engages local community groups—youth, women, professionals, and educators—to ensure practical, innovative solutions that meet real societal needs. Volunteers receive a free orientation covering safety, local customs, cultural awareness, transportation options, and a visit to the assigned work site. Accommodation includes a free homestay with a room and full bedding. Volunteers contribute $5 per day to cover meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and laundry services are provided at no cost. No specific skills are required. However, volunteers with experience in teaching, fundraising, gardening, construction, or website management are encouraged to apply. Participants benefit from cultural exchange, language learning, personal and professional development, and meaningful connections with the local and international community.

KVCDP partners with a local NGO to give international volunteers the opportunity to participate in a wide array of volunteer work, as well as short-term or long-term internships in Kenya. We evaluate every project to ensure commitment to programs with genuine need for volunteer aid, and not just financial assistance. We develop relationships with partner communities and help shape sustainable initiatives to encourage less dependence on outside help in the long run. Through these projects, we establish foundations from which people can build and develop themselves. No particular expertise or skills required. Participants should have a positive attitude, be ready to adopt and enjoy simple living conditions, and be flexible and patient. However, specialized skills and expertise (such as early childhood education, teaching math, English, sciences, tutoring) will be used accordingly. Volunteers are expected to love kids and be motivated to spend time with them.

Travel to Kenya and join the Children Volunteering program! Tropical International Volunteering and Exchange Services (TIVES) invites participants from around the world to work with the most vulnerable kids from four centers: Amani Children Center, Dreams Children Center, Lake Nakuru Children Center, and Furaha Children and School. These are all located in Nakuru County, a two-hour drive from the capital city of Nairobi. Volunteers are involved in cooking, cleaning, teaching, mentoring, landscaping, and feeding kids—acting as passion ambassadors, sharing in their dreams, and serving as an inspiration. Inspire children to become compassionate people in the future through love and support. The work schedule is from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The project is close to amenities like hospitals, banks, swimming pools, security, and WiFi. Volunteers can join tours to local attractions, such as Lake Nakuru, and go on safari expeditions in their free time. Program costs include full board accommodation within the project site or outside, with a host family.
