Urban & Regional Planning Study Abroad Programs in Florence, Italy

I would definitely recommend studying abroad with CIEE because information is always clearly communicated, the staff is super welcoming and friendly, orientation was very helpful, and I got to go on fun trips and activities with the program.

I absolutely loved CIEE! I would recommend them because they are extremely supportive, helpful, and kind. They offer a ton of opportunities for students to dive into that they would never have access to at home. CIEE helps students explore a new culture and community while making them feel at home!

I would recommend yes! Especially for Art History majors because the course immerses you in the Art where you are able to critically evaluate the works it a fist hand way that pictures can not do justice to.

I immediately felt so welcome and supported throughout my entire time abroad. There were several activities offered throughout the months which was so nice to be able to see different parts of Italy and do activities, like Arno rafting, that I wouldn’t necessarily do on my own time. They built a very strong community in this program and I am so glad I chose CIEE! Through the activities I made lots of friends and I will miss them all when we leave!

I think the program had amazing included benefits to the students, the activities planned and trips helped build a community within the program and help students see more of the surrounding cities in Italy.

It's not a problem because this was an amazing experience. Everything is very well organized. The teachers and program staff are super friendly and always look out for the students.I also think it's a perfect way to discover and learn about new places and people.

I would be likely to recommend CIEE study abroad to others because of all of the faculty, staff, teachers, classes, activities, and more. I absolutely loved my time with CIEE and couldn't recommend it more.

I think the staff at CIEE Florence made this experience so much more enjoyable than I had originally thought it would be. I could tell that they truly cared and cared about their students and planned amazing experiences for us

I found the CIEE organizers and staff to be incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. I was nervous because the process of going abroad was daunting, but they helped me all along the way. Once I arrived, the CIEE staff made me feel right at home despite never having left the country. The CIEE program built a strong community where it was easy to create new friendships and experience life in a different country.

I'd be likely to recommend because I had a great time with the program and felt supported by staff and also had a lot of opportunity to engage with the local culture. I would however, advise someone that they need more money than is suggested in the total costs.

My study abroad semester at NYU Florence was my first time ever in Europe, and it was an absolute dream come true. Florence is such a gorgeous city, with amazing architecture, people, and food. The NYU Florence campus is beautiful, with a fascinating history as well. The community itself is small & tight-knit, bringing me friends that I got to travel around the continent with. My favorite part of my semester in Florence was how easy it was to travel to different countries every weekend and experience new cultures.

The people were very nice and a lot of fun. The campus puts this program ahead of all others in the area. It is like living in a museum the views and gardens were amazing. The two art classes I took were also both very interesting. They also don't care if you drink inside the villa which makes things fun.

The program is way too expensive for what it offers. Although it is the only program with a campus, which is incredible, its not worth the money. Many other programs in Florence were a quarter of the price and seemed the same if not better. The NYU Campus in Florence was the only real standout point of the program

Most beautiful campus EVER. I liked it a lot. Helpful administration, lots of programs and field trips.

Great, historic city to study but very saturated with American culture so I didn't get the full Italian experience. Campus was beautiful, a hill top villa.
