The University of Milano-Bicocca’s School of Medicine and Surgery, in partnership with the University of Bergamo and Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital, offers a Single Cycle Master’s program designed to prepare future physicians for leadership in healthcare. Based in Bergamo, the curriculum combines rigorous basic science education with intensive clinical mentoring from the second year onward. Using Problem-Based Learning (PBL), students develop knowledge, teamwork, critical thinking, and a holistic approach to patient care across seven integrated systems: Cardiovascular & Respiratory, Oncology and Hematology, Locomotor, Digestive, Endocrine & Urinary, Neuroscience, and Women and Children. The program integrates medical sciences with professional skills, fostering inter-professional collaboration, global health awareness, and preparation for advanced clinical practice and research pathways.
