Intern abroad with IGS, choosing from placements across diverse areas of technology – processes, computer software, computer hardware, and data constructs. Previous participants have worked with top IT companies around the world. Our last placement was with a robotics firm that needed software support. The Institute for Global Studies IT internships have two tracks. Track One: Work with a leading information technology company catering to businesses or with a major department within a large business to fulfill their IT needs and functions. Track Two: Work for a smaller professional organization, typically in ecotourism, social media, environmental conservation, social services, or a topic of interest. Qualifications * 18 years old or older * We accept gap year students and college graduates * Positive attitude * 20 - 40 hours commitment per week In your brief letter of intent on the IGS Application form, please indicate the source of your interest in this position, what you hope to contribute, and what you hope to learn or experience. The letter will be distributed to internship providers. Plus, submit a resume indicating any relevant knowledge or skills.

Lite Regal Education and our full-time, sister school – Lite Regal College independent Schools, with branches in London and Cambridge – are proud to offer a Medical Internship and Doctor Shadowing Program at London University and Cambridge University. There are two categories based on age groups: - Medical School Preparation for high school students and future doctors, aged 15-18, who are looking for a Medical Shadowing or Volunteer program - Advanced Medicine for students, aged 18-24, who are currently studying medicine at a UK or overseas medical university and looking for clinical practice abroad Both programs are aimed at giving students theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. They intern and shadow a fully qualified medical doctor in a hospital or clinic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday. Afterward, they have free time to relax or explore on their own. They can also join the rest of Lite Regal students in cultural and after-school activities.
