High School Study Abroad in Montreux, Switzerland

Journey through four European countries and discover what it means to backpack Europe with Travel For Teens! Our approach is rooted in the classic backpacker strategy—travel by rail, explore cities with various daily choices, and leave ourselves open to the spontaneous possibilities that every day brings. This is our original Older Teens trip and is a classic combination of some of the best cities and natural beauty in Europe. We will begin with the northern canals in quaint Amsterdam and travel down to the canals of charming Venice. In between, there will be plenty of time to explore famous sites such as Anne Frank’s House and fairytale castles in Munich. Take a guided tour of the Van Goh Museum, and get your adrenaline pumping with adventure activities such as hiking and canyoneering in the Swiss Alps.

Teens can spend a summer in unique Montreux in French speaking Switzerland. The area has a special Mediterranean feel and is often called the Pearl of the Swiss Riviera," for good reason. Students will takes classes at the Language Vacation course center located in the center of Montreux. The location is ideal since it is close to the train station and right next to the charming promenades along Lake Geneva. The center is modern and has a friendly feel offering students bright classrooms and internet. The region offers endless attractions and entertainment like a Jazz Festival, a plethora of sports, beach and barbecues beside the lake, an ancient castle, and even a water park!
