But during daily language classes and your full immersion experience, the focus will be all things German! With CIEE, you’ll dedicate most mornings to intensive language study, and then head out for lunch and afternoons practicing your language skills in local shops, restaurants, museums, workshops, and other attractions in and around this lively, student-friendly city. Living with a homestay, you’ll practice German as you prepare and share meals, shop at local markets, learn local customs, and enjoy the rhythm of everyday life.

At Oui-Connect, we specialize in short-term homestay immersion programs that offer American teenagers the opportunity to experience life in Spain and France. Designed for participants aged 13 to 17, our programs run from June to August and last between two to four weeks. During this time, students live with volunteer host families, fully immersing themselves in the culture and language for a truly transformative experience. Through 100% immersion, participants not only enhance their language skills but also build meaningful connections and gain a deeper understanding of daily life abroad. Mitte, Berlin's most central district which literally means the center, contains some of the city's oldest buildings, as well as many of Berlin's grandest buildings, strung out like pearls along the magnificent boulevard Unter den Linden. The school is located in the western part of Berlin (near Kurfuerstendammis) on a long boulevard close to the Fehrbelliner Platz Metro stop.

Conclude your adventure in Berlin, Germany’s vibrant capital, exploring landmarks like the Bundestag and attending a workshop on EU governance and policy-making.
