At Ningbo British International School (NBIS), we provide a clear and supportive path for your secondary education from Year 7 to Year 13. Our curriculum is designed to help you grow academically at each stage. In Years 7, 8, and 9, you'll follow the Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum, studying subjects like English, Mathematics, Science, Chinese, and more. You'll finish this stage with the Cambridge Checkpoint tests, which help prepare you for the next level. Years 10 and 11 introduce the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) program. You'll study core subjects and choose electives that interest you, such as Art, Drama, or Business Studies. Achieving at least a grade 'C' allows you to move on to the Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Level in Year 12, where you'll focus more on your chosen subjects. In Year 13, you'll take Advanced Level (A2) courses and complete your secondary education with final exams.
