Don't miss out!
June 28, 2025by: Tucker JamesThis is a great program for all-around immersion in Argentine culture and Spanish language learning. I took Spanish classes, lived with a local host family, did all of the guided excursions, and made new friends. The program offers so much, I suggest you don't miss out on it.
Two life-changing months!
February 02, 2025by: Micah Kieckhefer - United StatesProgram: AFS Intercultural Programs: Argentina Summer High School
It was an incredible experience; I not only learned a ton of Spanish, I also had an eye opening experience that taught me to think about the world differently. As I plan to become a doctor, I felt it would help me understand patients from different walks of life better. Having the experience of living in a foreign country without knowing what to expect and without speaking enough of the language, I am able to relate to immigrants better because I have experience rather than an idea of what it means to immigrate. Going in high school is also beneficial because you get to see how people grow up somewhere else, and you form lifelong relationships with those around you!
I learned a lot!
September 25, 2024by: Grace F.Program: CIEE HS Summer Abroad: Spanish Language in Buenos Aires
it was very fun and i really learned a lot during my trip. i know a lot of people that want to leave for programs and i had a great time so i would probably recommend this one. also ciee has a partnership with my school so i would probably recommend it to people at my school since it’s already pretty connected. I loved going to Iguazú Falls.
Valuable experience
September 16, 2024by: Janny T.Program: CIEE HS Summer Abroad: Spanish Language in Buenos Aires
It was a good experience! I don’t know if I learned as much about the language as I thought I would, but my Spanish still improved immensely, I learned a lot about a different culture, my perspective on my own culture in relation to others has changed, and I now view living abroad and my kids having an international life as a very viable possibility. I think that has been very valuable.
Prepare for college abroad!
September 02, 2024by: Lydia A.Program: CIEE HS Summer Abroad: Spanish Language in Buenos Aires
I had a great time in the program, and I think lots of students at my school who take Spanish (or another language) would appreciate the opportunity to make all of the language learning worth something. Plus, it's a great opportunity to make friends and prepare for college (both in terms of applications and just being self-sufficient).
Exceptional program
December 02, 2023by: Jason StellThe biggest benefits for my child were that he gained travel experience, explored new worlds, and improved his Spanish language skills by doing the art program, living with a host family, and traveling in the big city of Buenos Aires. Overall, the arts program was exceptional.
