Spend a summer in London, one of the world's creative capitals, taking classes at one of the top two globally ranked universities for art and design—the University of the Arts London, with AIFS Abroad! Choose from a wide range of courses, from footwear design to animation to graphic design. Beyond the classroom, immerse yourself in the rich cultural and historical fabric of London. You’ll earn up to 4 semester credits per session and a Record of Study and Achievement, issued by the University of the Arts London! The program consists of two, 3-week sessions. You can take one session or combine consecutive sessions, taking one course per session. Housing is in a shared room in a residence hall. NYU Prague students learn about the Czech Republic’s incredible cultural and political transformation that began during the Velvet Revolution in 1989. Courses are taught by politicians and public intellectuals, many of whom were key players in the country’s transition to democracy. NYU Prague staff organize day trips and overnight excursions to historic sites such as Kutná Hora, a medieval town and UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its cathedrals, or industrial Ostrava, where students meet members of the town’s Romani population. Opportunities vary based on local restrictions. NYU Prague’s academic center is in two 15th-century buildings near the historic Old Town Square.
