CIEE Semester Internships CIEE Semester Global Internships are 9 to 13-credit, 12-week programs that feature a full-time internship (approximately 30 hours weekly), a seminar, and an optional 3 to 4-credit academic course online. CIEE Semester Intern and Study Abroad Programs are 12 to 14-credit, 12-week programs that feature a part-time internship​ (approximately 20 hours weekly), a seminar, and two academic courses.

In line with the themes that characterize the knowledge and research of the territory, IED Turin offers a three-week program designed to make the curriculum more competitive and to enrich it with new skills. The Car Design summer course in July provides an introduction to basic elements and tools, contemporary trends, and industrial challenges. It focuses deeply on the car designer's professional role. You’ll have the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge, and intellectual abilities to design new vehicles based on a clear understanding of proportion, volume, and surface design principles. You’ll talk with professionals and experience this career path through practical training, guided tours, and visits. Then, you’ll move forward into the modeling lab and, together with your classmates, produce a car design model. Projects will be subject to the groups' and teachers' critiques. This introductory-level course is designed for creative, flexible, open-minded students or professionals from other fields, as well as people interested in the world of automotive design, who do not have prior knowledge or experience. Skills such as drawing or sketching can be useful.

The three-year program results in a UK Bachelor's Degree in collaboration with Goldsmiths, University of London. It is founded upon the principles of Italian design and context, emphasizing the integration of traditional knowledge of craft and manual skills alongside contemporary design approaches. It explores how Italy’s artistic traditions, technological advancements, and deep manual expertise can be utilized to address contemporary interior design challenges. Throughout this program, you will comprehensively explore the theoretical foundations, core design principles, and processes that serve as the foundation of Italian design movements. You will learn to combine design principles with contemporary practice methodologies through challenging and stimulating coursework, creating sustainable and innovative solutions for complex spatial challenges.

The Accademia Italiana is internationally recognized as one of Europe's most prestigious institutes of art and design. Each year, creative students from all over the world come to the Accademia Italiana to take courses in the Accademia's signature programs in fashion design, graphic design and visual communications, interior and product design, window display design, photography and new media and studio arts. The Accademia also offers study abroad students courses in liberal arts and Italian language and culture. Italian culture courses include art history, history, literature, cinema and style. The Accademia has semester and year-long academic programs, bachelor's and master's degree programs, and short-term summer programs. Design courses are taught in Italian and in English languages. University credit is available.
