Most of our medical electives abroad placement require that you spend 5-7 hours at our partner hospital or clinic as an observer of the daily routines of medical staff. We offer many options for individuals to help the Healthcare efforts in Palawan. Two program schedules: One tailored for volunteers with medical backgrounds and another for those without. Both provide meaningful engagement in community healthcare, offering hands-on experience and cultural immersion. Medical professionals deliver specialized care, while non-medical participants assist with health education and operational support. Due to space limitations at the rural health unit/clinic, participation is restricted to 4-5 individuals simultaneously, ensuring effective work and a comfortable experience for all. Program Highlights: -Support healthcare initiatives in rural Aborlan, Palawan. -Provide essential medical services and hygiene education. -Engage with local communities to promote better health practices, including handwashing and dental care. -Assist in health camps, dental checkups, and first aid training. -Gain practical experience in community healthcare while immersing in local culture.

CAYE is a registered youth charitable organization in Mzuzu, Malawi. Established in 2014, CAYE works in the Northern Region and parts of the Central Region to empower young people, women, and small-scale farmers to improve their livelihoods and contribute to national development. CAYE focuses on youth empowerment, agriculture, environment and climate change, health, and education. The organization supports smart agriculture and value chain development to increase food security, create jobs, and raise incomes. It also promotes climate change awareness, environmental protection, and sustainable natural resource management. In health, CAYE improves access to essential services and promotes safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). In education, the organization supports early childhood development and helps youth and women access quality learning and skills training opportunities. CAYE supports over 260 youth through training, mentorship, VSL, cooperative development, and community projects. Through partnerships with government departments, local organizations, and community groups, CAYE is building a productive youth population and a progressive community in Malawi.
