I am a native English speaker with a Master's degree. I found this course easy to navigate. Being able to speak and write English does not mean that you instinctively know how to teach it. The course helped me to understand how foreign speakers would need to tackle grammar and how it could be taught. I learned several things that I did not know, such as zero and 1st, 2nd and 3rd Conditional sentences. I had never deconstructed this in my life! I had to do a little bit of extra learning from the web on modal verbs to understand how these work wrt the conditional. This area of the course could be clarified a little. I am also a little unsure about how I might teach a few other elements of grammar such as when to use, who, which, that. For the tense section I made my own table and set it out in a better and more logical framework, which shows that I must be a visual learner.

This is an excellent on-line TESOL course. I am very glad that I signed up for the certification class, which allowed me to complete it at my own time. The lessons were easy to follow and systematically arranged to have maximum benefits to the learning process. The audio lectures were coherent and had many insightful observations in which to draw tips from. I was able to complete the course in a relatively short time, due to its brevity, but which did not take away from the relevancy of the topics that were presented. I absolutely recommend this on-line program for everyone who is interested in obtaining the TESOL certificate. It's well worth time and effort!

I completed the TEFL course recently and I highly recommend it! It covers all aspects of teaching and every topic ends with a writing assignment that helps you to test your new knowledge. The tutor responds very quickly, provides good feedback and a lot of additional resources. Before I started the course I was worrying if an online course can prepare me well for teaching in a classroom. But yes, it did prepare me very well! I learned so much from this course and I feel like I am now more confident and prepared to create my own lesson plans and teach English as a second language. I like the fact that you can add specialty courses to the main program and there is additional time to complete them.

Overall, I found that the foundation of this course was very easy to follow and was very effective in my learning experience. The resources, the people, and the platform were just all too wonderful! I wish it was this nice at the University I attend too! When taking my TEFL course and completing the practicum, I thought it was something a little "off" for me to do, but when I finally found an opportunity to teach, I had a blast! I really wish I was able to talk more to my peers, but I think that given the circumstances, we all did really well together!

I had an amazing experience taking the Advanced 120 Hour TEFL course with itt! I learned so many skills which I use every day in my classroom. I am constantly referring to the activities I learned throughout the course to help me with my lessons. So many of the methods I learned I was already applying to my teaching, but the lessons with itt really helped put all that I was doing into words that made sense. I would highly recommend taking a course with itt and would do it all over again if I could!

This was a helpful course with knowledgeable and helpful tutors. The first few units were a little easy, in my opinion, but the later ones were a bit more challenging and contained some useful content about lesson frameworks in particular. I've already begun testing out some of the ideas from the course on my own students and think that having done this course has made my own teaching better. Thanks again!

The course content and videos provided extensive information on the concept of teaching English as a second language. I had to give props to the pdf files on the different areas taught. It also provided assistance for teaching in general such as highlighting the importance of lesson planning and the often difficult task of management of the class.

Brilliant introductory course and for its price you can not go wrong. Lots of great information about teaching and how to manager classrooms etc. The course is broken up into manageable sections and after each of these is a small quiz. I did the course at a very casual pace mostly while commuting to and from work each day as it was easy to access on my tablet or phone. You can complete the course quite fast but I would suggest taking your time as there is tons of valuable information which can really be used in real world settings.

Overall, the online program was well organized and had a lot of great tips for new teachers. Obviously, classroom teaching experience and in-person learning cannot be fully replaced by an online course, but this course was still worthwhile. The exams and activities were straightforward, but the three assignments do require quite a bit of time (so don’t procrastinate on them!). The grading of the assignments was also fair and helpful. You’ll finish the course feeling more familiar with lesson plans and classroom language.

If you want to become a certified ESL teacher and improve your over all teaching or lesson plan abilities this course is for you. The course material is structured extremely well with each module being clear and concise. My advisor Stacey was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Over all the experience was excellent and I really enjoyed working on the assignments and learning how to create and ideal lesson plan.

I enjoyed the level 5 course and found having a tutor assigned to be a huge help as she was very knowledgeable, and we have become friends now.; she helped me whenever I contacted her and was friendly even though I contacted her at least once; a week. I also never realised they had a recruitment coordinator once I finished the course, which helped me obtain employment in France for summer 2022 if I am allowed to travel. If you decide to contact them speak to Stacey, she has been super-efficient. Thank you, itt for being so helpful.

I am proof that you’re never too old to learn!! I am 55 years old and just received my Level 5 TEFL Certificate. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and would highly recommend ITT. I can’t wait to start teaching on line. Thanks to James and team for always being there for me.

I highly recommend the 120 hour TEFL course for anyone looking to teach English overseas. The course material is highly informative and the exams give you practice making detailed lesson plans. Feedback is positive but also very helpful on what you can improve in your lesson plans/teaching.

I took the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hours) with ITT. The price was too good to be true and I got more then what I expected. The content was appropriate and quite fun to work through with all the quick activities and end of unit tests. When I had enquiries I would get quick and helpful responses. I had failed the last assignment but was helped step for step with everything I had gotten wrong and ended up getting a distinction for my course. I would highly recommend this course to anyone as everything was top notch.

The course itself gave you the all information needed into teaching the English Language, in a clear and well structured format great for any level and learning style. I liked the flexibility in being able to navigate into previous units and the interactive activities which can help enhance your learning, as well as give you ideas into ideas for your own teaching methods.

During the pandemic I thought I would take an online TEFL course and do a bit of online teaching. I found ITT to be of great value compared to other providers so I went with them. I was very satisfied with the course and service. You simply watch some videos read text and answer quizzes. I am now in the process of using their job support and have already got two interviews lined up. Great company and I highly recommend them.

The program is done entirely online and can be completed fairly quickly if you are prepared to devote the time. The short quizzes at the end of each section help to make sure you're on track. The assignment to complete a lesson plan along with submission of materials supporting the lesson plan and an essay is a good way to gauge what you've learned and how you are able to apply your knowledge in a realistic setting. Support is available by chat, email or telephone. Support response time is quick and the support is helpful and easy to follow. This is a great way to learn accepted techniques of teaching English as a foreign language and obtain your certification so you can get started with your overseas teaching adventure!

My dad bought this course for me as a present. I have to admit that it wasn't what I expected, nor what I wanted at the time. However, after the first week I was hooked. There's a real sense of achievement with progressing through the course, completing exercises and hitting milestones. I haven't tried any other courses like this before, so I can't compare it to other companies. All I can say is from my personal experience, this course was simple, easy to understand, and the customer service was always fast and friendly. Have recommended it to my friends.
