The remote Microfinance internship (hosted out of Tanzania) strengthened my confidence in working across cultures, handling ambiguity, and contributing value; even in resource-limited settings. It was rewarding to see that the financial analyses and documentation I worked on were not just numbers on a screen, but tools that influenced real decisions affecting small entrepreneurs and families in Tanzania. This has made my internship tasks feel purposeful and grounded in real-world impact

What I enjoyed the most about this internship was the opportunity to work on real technical tasks and gain practical experience. This experience helped me improve my skills, my confidence, and my sense of responsibility. It also helped me understand better how a professional environment works and how important teamwork and organization are. Overall, this internship contributed greatly to both my personal and professional development.

I had a great experience with my remote Social Work & NGO Support (hosted out of Tanzania) as I was able to learn a lot about the type of work the host organization does as a human rights organization, from the big picture, to how they complete smaller tasks. I appreciated the most how I was able to gain cultural knowledge and exposure, as I saw how they viewed and dealt with various issues differently from a different international perspective, which was really interesting to me. I definitely have gained skills in communication, as well as working with people from different backgrounds, so thank you for the opportunity!
