Spend a summer studying and traveling through 3 fabulous European cities with the AIFS Abroad Western European Cinema study and travel program! You’ll spend 9 nights in London, 6 nights in Paris, and 5 nights in Rome. Europe is both the place where cinema began and a world leader in the film industry in the 21st century. You will examine the development of film and approaches to filmmaking across Western Europe as you earn 3 credits through Fairfield University. This course is taught in English. Cultural and social activities may include: • Walking tour of Alfred Hitchcock’s London • Visit to the British Film Institute • Full-day visit to Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studios • Visit to the Bond in Motion exhibit and walking tour of James Bond film locations • Film viewing at Regent Street Cinema • Visit to the La Cinémathèque Français • Visit to Versailles • Walking tour of Rome film locations • Visit to the Colosseum
