The Lyon program offers an intensive language approach at L’Université Catholique de Lyon (Lyon Catholic University), where you earn up to nine credits of French in one semester. Depending upon your language level, you will choose electives in culture, political science, cinema, economics, or literature taught specifically for USAC students. The university also offers the opportunity to enroll in courses taught in either English or French with French students.

Spend a semester or academic year in the sunny, cosmopolitan city of Cannes, France, with AIFS Abroad! You’ll earn up to 18 credits per semester through various courses while studying at the Campus International de Cannes. Courses are taught in English or French, without previous French language study required. There are many volunteer and non-credit internship opportunities in Cannes. Recent AIFS Abroad students have assisted local T.V. production companies, tutored elementary school children, helped out in a local hospice, and more. For spring semester students, a Cannes Film Festival Internship is also available. Participating students receive a ‘Cannes cinephile’ pass, which grants admission to films in various theaters during the Film Festival.
