I got to experience the staff Christmas party
February 15, 2021by: Gerald M - United KingdomGood program administration. From pre-departure advising, orientation, and support services, IGS covered everything smoothly. Dr. Adams guided me every step of the way. She even assured my mom as to my own safety and updated her almost every day. As to the internship program itself, the staff at the park are very friendly and accommodating to me. I had beers with them and even attended their Christmas party! Glad to be part of the team. And I look forward to coming back.
Thank you, IGS, for our friendships' bonding!
February 15, 2021by: Dorothea W - CanadaThank you, IGS, for the great summer I had. Definitely one for the books. We did a lot of hiking tours. We have seen diff bird, woodlands, and reptiles exhibits. I didn't know this side of Australia and I am happy to discover it. For our internship, I joined with my friends, and we had lots of fun. We fed the animals and we were taught how to bathe them, and care for them. Aside from the learnings, what I am most grateful for is the bonding we had - me and my friends. We are all into wildlife and animal stuff, so we are glad to have this internship.
Future crocodile scientist
February 15, 2021by: Rajan O - United StatesI am a fan of crocodiles ever since I was a kid, founding them very interesting. With this I aspire to be a crocodile scientist someday. I remember drawing crocodiles on our schoolboards using chalks, and being scolded by teachers for it. This internship made me realize that I can do it. Animal science/marine science has a lot to offer. It's a chance to mix profession and passion. I loved every single moment of it.
