Our summer study abroad program in Spain is designed for students of all academic backgrounds who are excited about immersing themselves in Spanish culture and lifestyle. Many of our students go to Seville to improve their Spanish language skills, while others go simply to enjoy the culture--all are welcome! In addition to Spanish Language courses, this pre-college program offers various course study options, including Spanish History, Fine Arts, Philosophy, Photography, and Cuisine. Along the way, students learn lifelong skills while living in upscale, stylish apartments in the heart of Seville!

This all-in-one semester begins with one month traveling Spain by train, followed by two months in Barcelona where you choose your pathway. You’ll build soft skills (communication, confidence, problem-solving), hard skills (Spanish, digital tools, cooking), and leadership abilities focused on positive impact. Choose one of three pathways: - The Internship Pathway offers full-time hands-on experience, real projects, and strong hours for future credit or professional goals. - The Entrepreneurship Pathway combines a part-time internship with entrepreneurship labs, mentorship, and Spanish classes, ending in a Shark Tank–style pitch. - The Special Interest Pathway lets you blend part-time internship, volunteering, and classes, or focus fully on volunteering plus Spanish or creative electives. If you want to explore Spain, improve Spanish, travel sustainably, and gain real-world experience with impact, this semester is for you. Gap Year CIS-UC3M is a joint program between CIS University and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, offering a unique four-month experience in Spain focused on culture, personal growth, and academic development. From February to May 2026, students will study in Madrid and Getafe, join workshops, volunteering, and trips, and build their soft skills with personalized mentoring. Fee: €8,500.
