Gap Year Programs in Rural Areas,Ethiopia

Gain experience teaching English in Ethiopia! Join us in the city of Bahir Dar, the third-largest city in the country. Volunteers are needed to strengthen students' English skills, to raise the average percentage of students who go on to receive higher education. Volunteers will teach local students, from grades 1-8. Volunteers will receive a structured syllabus, but you are encouraged to assist with subjects you feel strongest in. All lessons will be taught in English. Weekends are free for volunteers to explore Ethiopia with their new friends!
