Development Studies Study Abroad in Italy

Whether you are pursuing a four-year degree or are seeking to study abroad, you will do so in the heart of Rome surrounded by the extraordinarily rich offerings of a city of culture, history, art, creativity, business and international affairs.

What’s not to love about Italy? It is easily one of the most fascinating countries in Europe. Its colorful culture, famous cuisine, charming language, rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and extraordinary architecture attract students from all over the world to study and explore this marvelous country.

With over 15 programs offered in Italy, Arcadia University has a program for nearly every undergraduate student. Programs are tailored by Arcadia's College of Global Studies to provide academic programs that foster an appreciation for Italian language, culture, and way of life. Students may choose between programs offered in Rome, Florence, and Syracuse.

Summer Abroad is one of three study abroad programs offered through the Education Abroad Center (EAC), a unit of the University Outreach and International Programs office. UC Davis Summer Abroad programs offer students short but intense academic courses that are complemented with a wealth of cultural activities.

Two and four week programs in Rome students participate in global leadership and examine how cross-cultural understanding effects world events.
