Pastoral Work Volunteering in Multiple Countries

It was an amazing experience that facilitated personal growth in many ways. I learned more about living with and cooking for a big group of people and practiced new self care techniques that have stayed with me since. Experiencing new cultures was a long needed experience for me.

Carpe Diem Education is an amazing program that has changed my life in so many amazing ways. I have been home for almost a year now and it is crazy how much I miss the everyday hustle and bustle of my Carpe trip. Every day was a new experience from waking up and milking cows to scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef. This program was a perfect balance between work and play. The leaders for my Carpe trip were nothing short of amazing, they would push us to do our best always and were so unbelievably qualified I never once felt unsafe or at risk of danger the entire 3 months. If anyone out there is looking for an experience of a lifetime Carpe Diem Education is the trip for you. <3 Hongi fall 2014
