SAI Study Abroad at Syracuse Academy (Sicily, Italy)

SAI welcomes students to experience Sicily, one of the jewels of the Mediterranean! In partnership with The Syracuse Academy, SAI provides specialized summer study abroad programs focused on Mediterranean culture, landscape, and history—in a beautiful seaside setting. The Academy brings together a small community of students interested in a culturally immersive summer academic experience that uses the surrounding region as its classroom. Studies include volcanology on Mount Etna, the history of the Mafia in its birthplace, and archaeology among ancient Greek ruins. SAI oversees and coordinates all aspects of student enrollment, including application processing, course selection and credit, visa advising, housing, student health insurance, transcripts, and cell phone service. In addition, SAI provides comprehensive student services, beginning with pre-departure and leading to our on-site orientation.
