It serves as the economic, diplomatic, and cultural center of Croatia. It is a city of science and culture, with 50 museums and galleries as well as 20 theaters and music venues. Walking down the streets, you can admire the architecture of buildings that mostly dates back to the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Head to Sibenik as well, a historic town along the Adriatic Coast. Smaller than Zadar or Split, it is a gem waiting to be discovered and experienced. Explore its ancient city walls, steep and narrow cobbled streets, picturesque views, and crystal clear seas. Cybersecurity is an ever-evolving field with opportunities waiting for everyone with an interest to learn more and develop their skills in this fascinating and demanding topic. This program will show the basic steps most hackers go through while compromising the victim’s computers. It will define some interesting known and lesser-known attack vectors and protection against them. You will not only have a chance to compromise many vulnerable machines by using different attack vectors, but you will also gain knowledge that will help you protect the computers and networks against the attacks covered in this course. Plus, you will learn some of the latest attacks and methods used in the wild. Join us in Zagreb from 29 June to 24 July 2026! Earn a minimum of 6 ECTS credits! International students applying for this course can also take the free elective Croatian Language and Culture Course and earn an extra 4 ECTS credits!

Delve into the critical issues surrounding international cooperation and conflict, ranging from the turbulent wars of the 1990s to the contemporary expansions of NATO and the European Union. Nestled along the picturesque Dalmatian coast, Dubrovnik provides an ideal backdrop for immersive studies in international security and collaboration. Throughout your stay, you'll engage with local experts to gain a deep understanding of the region's history and its complex dynamics. Your academic journey will culminate in the development and presentation of your own research project, allowing you to apply your newfound knowledge firsthand. This program is open to all enthusiastic undergraduate and graduate students. Please note that students will be required to complete online coursework before and after the program. Enjoy comfortable shared apartments equipped with attached bathrooms and Wi-Fi. To maintain a conducive academic environment, overnight guests are not permitted in program housing.

Operation Wallacea is a research and environmental organization, working alongside university and college academics to build long-term data sets to put towards various conservation management goals. We recruit volunteers to help with data collection, training them in the skills and background needed to help effectively. Our Croatia project allows volunteers to participate in a broad range of surveys within a short period. Spend time at the terrestrial site, in a secluded area of the Krka National Park—one of Croatia's most scenic and popular protected areas. Tasks include assisting in surveys for birds, rare cave fauna, herpetofauna, mammals, and freshwater fish. Volunteers may also work at the marine site on the stunning Silba Island. Activities include learning to dive, completing an Adriatic coastal ecology course, and participating in surveys for fish populations, mollusks, and seagrass.
