Learn Spanish & Surf or Yoga 1 or 2 Weeks

The lively beach town of Santa Teresa is world famous for surf breaks across beaches pristine, uncrowded and seemingly endless. After surfing and sunbathing are over for the day – and Spanish lessons and surfing! – the town comes alive with funky surf shops, cafes, restaurants and nightspots for every taste and budget. Your experience will be based at ‘Jakera Jungle Surf Camp’ where we have created a jungle paradise complete with swimming pool overlooked by a rich tropical forest bursting with wildlife including red squirrels, howler monkeys and tiny magical hummingbirds. This program starts on the first and third Sunday of each month, so clients can ‘settle in’ before the program proper starts on Monday morning. As well as Spanish lessons and professional surf instruction and guided/supervised surfing, other programmed activities include hiking so you can explore and enjoy the beautiful hinterland of Nicoya Peninsula. 4 hour one on one spanish immersion

April 09, 2024by: Davis Mangold - United StatesProgram: Spanish & Yoga Program @ Nosara Spanish Institute

I really enjoyed my one on one spanish immersion. It was four hours each day in the afternoon. This was great as I could walk the beach and surf in the morning and then focus on learning spanish in the afternoons. My teacher was very good. He was very professional, courteous and took an interest in my learning. He kept the pace flowing where I was never bored and not overwhelmed. His examples, real life scenarios and role playing made the class interesting and lively at times. Highly recommend this NSI if you are visiting Nosara.
