Memorable time of my life
April 03, 2024by: Munkhnaran TsogooProgram: Summer Study Abroad with Masaryk University in BrnoMy time at Masaryk University proved to be instrumental in propelling my career forward. The master of finance program provided a strong foundation in financial analysis and risk management that perfectly complemented my banking experience. This combination of practical knowledge and theoretical grounding made me a strong candidate for the position. Since graduating from Masaryk University, my journey in the banking sector has taken an exciting turn. Leveraging the theoretical knowledge I gained at Masaryk University, I was promoted to Head of the Department at the one of the leading commercial bank in Mongolia, where I previously held a junior officer position. The international environment at Masaryk University played a significant role in shaping me both personally and professionally. The university's location in Central Europe opened doors for travel to many countries, while the diverse student body allowed me to interact with people from a wide range of cultures. These experiences broadened my perspective and fostered a more open-minded approach to the world. Three years after graduation, I still miss the smell of trees around Vinarska. Living amongst a community of students from various countries was a truly enriching experience. To graduating students contemplating further education, I wholeheartedly recommend Masaryk University. Gain academic knowledge, take the opportunity to travel, and embrace new cultures – it will enhance both your academic and personal journey. My time at Masaryk University was truly transformative. I am grateful for the knowledge, experiences, and lifelong connections I gained there.
