The program itself was amazing. I had a great placement. Work life is very fun and chill, but also enough work where I was learning a great amount. The program has a ton of opportunities to get together and do cool trips, but it also gives you the free freedom to travel. The two coordinators were awesome. Honestly made us feel so comfortable being in Barcelona.

I couldn’t have asked for a better program to join. Everyone was so amazing and our program leaders were the absolute best and the events were extremely fun. I was placed in the best internship I could have asked for.

Living and working on the other side of the world in a completely different culture is not the easiest thing in the world. Beyond Academy made this transition as smooth as possible, and made sure that I was safe and accounted for frequently throughout my two months there.

Berlin is an amazing city. The Base, where we lived, was very comfortable. Beyond was great at having activities and initiating meet ups with the other interns. I loved the atmosphere of Berlin. I felt that it had a very gritty, artistic vibe to it which I really enjoyed.

I got to meet so many amazing people while getting to explore a new city, all while building my resume at an amazing internship company that will leave a lasting impact on me. The community coordinators are the nicest people ever and make sure that you feel like you belong in the city, no matter where you are from :)

I honestly had a pretty solid time. It’s always been a dream of mine to do something this crazy like living and working abroad. My company was super nice and my work hours were super nice too. Most everyone was flexible with my needs and assisting me when needed. I was a research invest analyst so, they have work/positions for every major. So if an Interview doesn’t go as planned there will be more opportunities. The only downside was that I would finish my work sometimes too quickly and would not have anything to do but that’s not the case for most interns. Other interns that were here often had to work weekends. My company was super laid back and often treated me and my colleagues to lunch and dinner. As long as you make the effort to communicate with them even if you don’t speak Korean fluently they will see the effort and do the same for you.

I spent 8 weeks in Seoul with Beyond Academy and overall had a really positive experience. The programme was a great opportunity to gain professional experience in Korea while also developing my confidence working in an international environment. The company organised a range of activities and events for interns, which made it easy to meet other people on the programme and experience different parts of Seoul together. Both the Beyond Academy staff and other interns were very friendly and supportive. The internship also gave me useful professional experience and helped me better understand working culture in Korea, as well as giving me something valuable to take forward in my future career. Although I had to leave my internship partway through due to personal circumstances, I chose to remain in Korea and Beyond Academy were very understanding and supportive of my situation, which I really appreciated. One thing I would recommend to future interns is to keep in mind that internship placements can be a bit hit or miss depending on the company and role. If possible, I would recommend doing a few interviews and considering different offers rather than accepting the first placement you are offered. Overall, though, Beyond Academy provided a friendly and well-supported way to experience working and living in Seoul.

My time with beyond academy was amazing. I went to NYC for 6 weeks and honestly it was an adventure I will never forget. The community team was so helpful and the activities they planned were super fun. 100% worth it if you’re thinking of an internship abroad.

I met some amazing people and developed a great relationship with my host company. I had an overall great experience with Beyond Academy in Seoul. The staff always offered amazing support regarding questions and was super friendly. You could always join activities with others and built friendships. The internship I did was also very trustworthy and I barley had any major problems, especially with regular check-in’s. I spent 5 months abroad and I felt very safe. A lot of information was always offered, as well as good preparation before coming and joining. I had the best time abroad!

Got to do an internship in Bangkok, Thailand. Biggest city I've ever lived in and first time working in person for a company and I was never stressed. Beyond really helps you every step of the way with finding an internship, housing, and then hosting events throughout the internship so you can meet other interns! My favorite part of this experience was getting so many opportunities to talk to and learn from local people so I always had someone I could ask for recommendations of things to do. We had a paid for trip to another city for a week and my boss took everyone out to dinner and to different activities after work and it was a lot of fun and a great look into the Thai work and social culture.

I had the best time in Sydney! The program coordinators were so welcoming and made the experience so much better. They were there for anything I needed and planned super fun events! I highly recommend to anyone that is considering!

Sydney is such a great spot for an internship and the staff there were very nice and welcoming. They made the experience amazing and I really appreciated how much time they spent planning events and helping the interns with whatever they needed.

During my 6 weeks in Barcelona I was given the opportunity to intern at a consulting firm and gain hands on experience working with Catalonias sustainability strategy. I worked hybrid so during my free time I was able to take weekend trips and explore the city. Beyond organized activities for their interns, curating community and providing opportunities to explore parts of Barcelona I otherwise wouldn’t have known existed. I met people everywhere I went and made some friendships that will last a lifetime. I am so grateful to beyond for facilitating a wonderful experience.

I spend 6 weeks in Seoul during summer 2026. If you are considering this trip you will have a blast! You should do some research before you come so that you are adequately prepared for anything that might come your way. If you like to shop bring some extra luggage!I’m super glad to have the opportunity and the community in Seoul’s made sure I got the most of my 6 weeks there! I made so many friends. Any issues I had there were solved relatively quick and they even helped out with small things here and there.

I had the best experience during my internship and am thankful I was able to have this opportunity. During my internship, I am so grateful for the support given to me by my program and the amazing placement company I was able to spend time at.

Would definitely recommend this program for interns who also want to experience a foreign country! Beyond gives plenty of options for host countries, and the team is very helpful before and during the trip! Everyone I met while abroad were so nice as well as the other interns, I will never forget them! Only downside is the price of the trip. Very expensive, but the program also includes two activities every week, but only some are paid for. The difference in accommodation locations were pretty big, and you don't get a say in where you stay. Some interns had to travel over an hour every day for work, but for me personally, I was put in a spot one stop away from my job on the subway, which was perfect. Interning abroad for six weeks was a perfect amount of time to see everything that I wanted to. The Seoul team was very helpful in setting up our subway cards, and answering any questions we had. The range of activities set up for us were very big, some days we visited historical sites, others would be more modern. I feel like I got the full Seoul experience! Thank you Beyond!

Through Beyond Academy, I was able to land an amazing internship and explore Seoul for six weeks! Every step of the way Beyond Academy was there to help and guide me. From helping me prep for interviews or resolving issues with my accommodations, I am so glad that I took this opportunity! I was in Seoul for 6 weeks with beyond academy and my experience was amazing, from the beginning with matching me to a company and all the way to my destination, beyond academy was so supportive, helpful and accommodating. When it came to the application, BA made sure I was set up with a company that matched my goals and aspirations which I really appreciated. It was my first time flying so far from home and alone, but BA was always there to help and support with anything I needed. The days out with the co-ordinators and other interns were 100% the highlights of my time in Seoul! My experience was a fantastic one to be eexact. Once I landed, I was greeted by the coordinators and was taken around the following day. I enjoyed my time working at the internship; and any issues that arose, I spoke to the coordinators about it and it was quickly resolved. One of the best parts about the internship was the people you meet along the way. The coordinators and interns were very fun to around with and that was amongst the highlights. Everything about my time in Seoul was more than I expected.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! Outside from working hard at my internship and gaining new skills in what I’m passionate in, I was also able to make great relationships with like minded people during my stay. I never had to worry about anything except whether I had enough time to do everything I had planned for a day! But I’ve made connections with others that I will come to cherish forever, and will keep me coming back someday.

I loved my time with Beyond! I got to meet so many amazing people, and absolutely loved all of the community events they hosted. I worked as a graphic designer/ marketer for a fashion technology company which is not what I’d usually choose but I ended loving it. I had a few issues with housing and the company that hosts it but the community coordinators were very helpful when it came to that. If you have the funds I would highly recommend this program!

I worked as a graphic design intern, for two months. Really enjoyed my time, the Tokyo coordinators really supported me and made me feel welcomed. I completed the Beyond Academy Immersive Internship Program in Seoul, where I did a fashion internship, and I genuinely cannot recommend it enough. This experience has honestly been life-changing and has shaped me into such a new version of myself. Beyond Academy helped me grow in ways I didn’t even realise I needed. My skills developed so much, but more than anything, my confidence grew massively. I had such a good experience in Tokyo, beyond academy answered all my questions with speed and ease. Some people didn't have a great experience with their placement but I did. I loved it ! The events they coordinated were really helpful as we could explore more of the city.

I completed an internship with Beyond Academy this month in Tokyo. I was there for 6 weeks. While my host company maybe wasn’t the best fit for me, I am grateful for the overall experience, and the community team in Tokyo did everything they could to make the experience good for everyone. The only thing I will say is that you will not be guaranteed accommodation with other Beyond Academy interns - so it might be harder to make friends if so. Overall good experience.

Beyond Academy was the best decision I made post-graduation. Japan has always been a place I wanted to visit (as my grandad used to work there) and now having worked, lived and travelled around Japan, it has become a pinnacle moment of my youth and is helping me navigate my future goals. The support from friends and community coordinators made it that much more enjoyable and easy, everyone was there to welcome and support one another. Take that nervous next step, because I promise you it will be worth it, fortune always favours the brave.

As someone who has never travelled alone before, this was one of the scariest things I've done but it was absolutely worth it! Beyond were really helpful in finding an internship that fit my goals and preparing me for my time abroad. I always had someone around for support if I needed it, the community events that were planned were so fun and weren't typical tourist things but instead were places and activities I might not have thought of. I didn't need to worry about finding somewhere to live, it was all taken care of and now that I'm back I wish had stayed longer.

Got to experience living and working in the heart of South Korea! As a solo female traveller, I never felt lonely or scared, as the community at Beyond were so welcoming and attentive during the whole process from in depth discussions about my career goals and aspirations to booking my flights, and navigating Seoul on the ground. Social events were planned every week which were tailored and coordinated according to our preferences and feedback. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have met so many likeminded people around the globe, some which I know will be lifelong friends!!

I did 3 months in Tokyo basically building robots, going to events, eating good food and chilling with good people. Was a great experience loved meeting loads of different people along the way it was very fun plus my internship was fantastic, if you doing tech, it’s a very good place to get full job experience. The support for achieving your internship is really good, they give you interview advice and coaching which is not only helpful for getting the internship but also in future job searching. I really enjoyed the social opportunities with Beyond Academy, as it allowed me to connect with other interns going through similar experiences. Before the program, I struggled to make friends while studying Korean, but here, I quickly made lasting connections. The staff was incredibly helpful, always quick to respond and easy to talk to. As for work, I was lucky with my company—they were kind and supportive, and everyone spoke English. My commute was also simple, just 25 minutes with two transfers. While other interns had different experiences, it's worth noting that travel times and work environments can vary. Overall, Beyond Academy provided an enriching experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional and social internship abroad!

I did a two-month internship in IT in Tokyo with Beyond Academy this summer. The team gave me really helpful coaching and advice before the interviews, which made securing a placement a lot smoother. This year I had the pleasure of spending two unforgettable months in Seoul. From the day I arrived I felt total support from the amazing community team who made my life easier and planned some great events which I always looked forward to. My internship was full of learning and challenges along the way where I was always pushed to be better and I am grateful to have spent it at the company that I did. The accommodation was also really nice, had an amazing view of the Han River, and gave me the opportunity to meet amazing people who I am grateful to call friends. I always wanted to try living and working abroad and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Living in Seoul felt like something out of a fantasy to me and helped me realise a dream. I will always be thankful to have had this incredible experience.

The first highlight of the stay is the accomodation. A room in Dangsan with a stunning view of the city and the Han river, with access to the rooftop. The stay included a kitchen which I shared with amazing flatmates who became friends, as well as an ensuite bathroom and modern gym. Just a short trip away was my internship, which was thoroughly rewarding and insightful, giving me an experience I won't forget on the beautiful Yonsei University campus. The Seoul co-ordinator team were also a highlight, all very friendly, supportive, and helpful. The events were exciting and affordable, and covered many of the best spots in Seoul.

This internship was amazing, I definitely got to experience a lot of Barcelona, and that was massively influenced by the experiences provided by Beyond Academy, not only where we visited but also it allowed us a chance to meet the other interns who I spent most of my time with throughout the internship! Our group orientation leader Isabel was also a big part in why the experience Beyond Academy provided was so amazing. The only thing I would improve is the work experience itself, I would be prepared to not have the work itself meet your specific requirements, but there is definitely opportunity to raise these concerns while you’re there with Beyond Academy but also the workplace itself as my company was more than happy to give me more work when I was looking for it :)

I had such a great summer with the Beyond Academy programme! From the very first application to them, they were always there to guide me and give me advice. I got some great feedback and help with my CV and some really good interview practice. The internship I ended up doing was a marketing internship with a theatre in Islington. It was so much fun! I learned so many skills, and gained a lot of useful experience. Especially where PR is considered! I'm already in talks for a graduate job directly because of this experience! The London coordinators were such great people and super helpful! They were also a lot of fun at the Beyond events I attended (of which there were a lot, and often were covered as part of the programme)! Overall, I highly recommend using Beyond as it is such a stress-free way to complete an internship, experience the culture of another city, and really stands out on a resume!

A program like this feels like its too good to be true. Especially when you consider I found them on Instagram. Regardless, it was one of the BEST experiences OF MY LIFE!!! The Beyond Academy staff was so beyond helpful with finding me a placement, getting me a visa, etc. Once I was in London (my placement location), the community team was there supporting me before I even set my bags down. Litterally, I had to call them to get my accommodation keys and they helped solve the issue in minutes! I could not have asked for a better experience with a better program!

I spent my summer with Beyond Academy in New York, and it was a great experience for me. For 8 weeks I worked at an internship that gave me insight into my chosen field, while also being surrounded by a kind and supportive team. Beyond did a great job of bringing people together. I made close friends from around the world and enjoyed the weekly events that gave us the chance to experience New York as locals and tourists at the same time. I left the program feeling more confident, with professional skills I can build on and great memories of a summer well spent.

I had a great experience with them. I learned so much from both the internship and the culture. The coordinators were very welcoming and helped me settle into the city. I met many kind people and made lasting friendships. I am very grateful for this opportunity and will always remember it.

I found Beyond Academy to be a super helpful experience for both my social life and career. Through my internship, I have a better idea of what I want to do and decided on the industry I’d pursue. Additionally, I met many great, unique people that taught me a lot about ambition and work-life balance. However, the program was sloppy and unorganized at times. In the beginning, I was urged to pay a lot of money before I met with the instructor, which I didn’t feel comfortable with. While I got lucky with my internship, my friends got internships where they didn’t really do anything all day, and one of them had to go to an apartment for her office. I think putting in more effort to screen companies as well as trying to get better internships would go a long way. Despite the shortcomings, I want to stress that the program was a great learning opportunity, and I feel more ambitious and self-sufficient as a result.

If what your looking for is extra work experience on your CV and you have the funds to participate in something like Beyond Academy, I would say why not? You get to meet some really amazing people, grow your network a little and see a new city that you may have never been to before. I really enjoyed the one on one work meeting, and all the activities that Beyond Academy had to offer, you will definitely never be bored. While I don't think they had to best placement, i still learned a lot at my place of work and got to try something I previously didn't think about doing.

I enjoyed my time with beyond, they did much of the dirty work like matching with a well-fitting host company and finding a safe and pleasant place to stay. That allowed me to focus on the fun and work, which was aided by the social events every week.

My time in Barcelona with Beyond Academy was a really remarkable experience. I got to live in an amazing city, surrounded by the beach and the vibrant Spanish and Catalan culture. To me, the most memorable parts of the program are all the friendships I made and the great nightlife! Our community coordinator Isabel was like a big sister, always ready to help, and organized fun events we all enjoyed a lot - often with drinks and meals included. We all felt very well-guided and it enhanced our experience a lot. The internship itself was very insightful and helped me in my professional growth, gave me knowledge about different industries, and I learned a lot. I also made valuable professional connections and felt like I had a good life-work-balance in Barcelona! Our accommodation was nice, with a view of the Sagrada Família. However, there was a very big hidden fee for the use of AC (which is very necessary in Barcelona), that was not properly communicated and not listed in the accommodation contract we all signed. Overall, the program is also a bit expensive for what you get. And you have to be really specific with the Beyond Academy staff who are responsible for role matching. They were sometimes inattentive to my requests, and you have to be very specific about what you do and do not want - in order to not be pushed into roles you’re not really interested in. I did end up finding a great host company, though.

Tokyo is an amazing location for an internship - many opportunities, dynamic social live and full of new experiences - it is a challenge not to enjoy your time here. My workplace was full with enthusiastic young people, which inspired me. Through Beyond Academy I've met many new people, who I'd proudly call lifetime friends now. Overall, the experience gives you the opportunity to explore Japan in ways one couldn't do as a tourist and it's totally worth it.

You will never going to have this kind of experience in the future ever! Securing an international internship is extremely challenging given the internship duration, language, and policies that are case by case. Hence I would recommend this program to help you save all those hassles. This is the only time you have in your life you can make this big investment without necessarily sacrificing others

Had a great time exploring Barcelona while getting work experience. The team here is amazing and will make your time here extremely enjoyable. I did the program for eight weeks and got to see everything Barcelona had to offer and more.

I really enjoyed my time during my internship in Tokyo through Beyond Academy. Despite the company I interned at being less than stellar, to say the least, I had a wonderful time. I’d always wanted to visit Japan, and when I started looking for a summer internship, Beyond Academy stood out as the perfect fit and I’m really glad I went with them. It was my first internship and my first time traveling alone, so going halfway across the world felt intimidating at first. But having a built-in community through Beyond Academy made a huge difference. The Tokyo community team was incredibly kind and welcoming, and it was great to have people to explore Japan with. Some of my favorite events were the day trip to Enoshima Island and the visit to TeamLab Planets. I’m more of a “tag-along” than a planner, so I really appreciated the weekly events that helped me experience Tokyo without needing to research and organize everything myself. At the same time, there was enough flexibility to explore independently. I stayed in the accommodation provided by Beyond: a sharehouse which was clean and comfortable for an 8-week stay. The rooms were small but sufficient for the 2 months I was there. I also had a great experience with my host company. My coworkers were friendly and supportive, and the tasks I was assigned were manageable. I had signed up for a Software Development internship but ended up working more with AI and query tuning than hands-on coding. Still, as my first internship, it was a good learning experience and gave me insight into a professional work environment. One thing I was nervous about before arriving was the transportation system—I had never even taken a subway before. But I quickly got the hang of it, and Tokyo’s public transit is incredibly efficient. I did have to figure out routes to events on my own, but it became easier with time. One thing to keep in mind is the summer weather. I was there from June to July, and the heat and humidity were intense, especially if you're not used to subtropical weather. I absolutely loved my time here and definitely plan to return someday, but next time I think I’ll visit during a cooler season.

I had a wonderful time doing this internship! The placement process was a little rocky and lacked communication at times, but the internship itself gave me a good opportunity to grow professionally. Housing was simple and shared. Additionally, there were many events to connect with the other interns during, and I was able to make lots of friends during my time in Tokyo because of this.

I loved my internship at Positive Me in Seoul, South Korea, coordinated by Beyond Academy! It can be really scary to go to a new country where you don’t really speak the language and there are large cultural differences from what you’re used to but Beyond Academy was so helpful in helping me adjust and find community! There were tons of really cool activities, the internship was very eye-opening about what I may want to do in the future, and the office environment was incredibly friendly. Overall, I think it is a really formative experience to go to a new country where there are stark cultural differences while you are young to help you appreciate the diversity of the world and the importance of learning about different cultures.

I absolutely loved doing this program. I will admit, in the beginning through the application process and interviews and such I had a really hard time with communicating as well as the language they use makes you have to rush through it all quickly. Even with that being said the actual program itself is so amazing. I am so glad that I was able to come and do this opportunity. It has given me professional experience as well as so many new personal connections. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to live abroad and really soak in the culture through daily life. It really has been such a fun experience.

My experience with the internship was great! I made a lot of great connections and had a great balance of time working, exploring, and socializing. This program really allows you to fall into a nice rhythm and the weeks go by quickly! I met a lot of great people and had some great experiences, without a doubt. On my own time I left Seoul and explored the rest of the country a bit, joined language exchange events, and made some career connections I might have never made otherwise! South Korea is a great country and Seoul is one of my favorite cities, so it was a pleasure!

I spent four months with the Beyond Community in Tokyo. The coordinators make sure everyone's having a great time, and it's so easy to make friends. The community itself is very friendly and the events planned are amazing, they really get you to visit the places in Tokyo you wouldn't think to visit yourself. It makes for a really unique experience of Tokyo than just a visit. You'll have a great time if you go!

Absolute amazing time, living and working in Japan helps make you feel that you are actually apart of the society. Great time with all my peers. Wether it be hiking through the mountains hunting for views that could make a grown man cry or walking around Japan hunting for achievements and collectibles in different places. The program was great for it all. I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience what it’s like living and working in Japan. Great time and I can’t wait to visit again.

This program was super fun and well organized. The community coordinators were very kind and welcoming to the interns and were always there to provide us with advice and lend us a listening ear if we ever needed one. The coordinators were very open to suggestions in terms of community events which was great, they made sure everyone would be included and always felt safe (shout out to Olivia and Stephanie <3) The Beyond team was very efficient at securing an interview for a potential host company and provided me with many resources in order to prepare me for the interview. This was my first ever “big” interview and with their advice, I was able to secure a position at the first company found!

I did a 6-month internship in Tokyo with Beyond Academy and had a great experience overall. The internship lined up well with what I was aiming for, both personally and professionally. Tokyo is just an incredible city to live in. There’s always something happening, the food is unreal, and every neighborhood has its own vibe. I visited twice before this program, but living and working here is completely different (in a good way ofc). The coordinators, Olivia and Stephanie, were amazing. They’re super fun, easy to talk to, and always ready to help with anything - from hospital visits to food recommendations. They made the whole experience super smooth and enjoyable. The accommodation was clean, safe, and in a great location. Living with other interns was fun and made it easier to settle in. I can say I definitely made some lifelong friends through the program. I was skeptical at first about the events, but they were actually great - well-planned, varied, and a fun way to explore Tokyo and meet people without it feeling forced. As a bonus, I actually ended up landing a full-time job in Japan after the internship, which would've never happened if it wasn't for the program lol. The experience was very memorable, I gained a lot not only for career direction but also adventures that shaped my paradigm. I met a lot of really lovely people on the trip, from the staff to other participants of the program, it was truly a worthwhile experience to be a part of.

The beyond academy programme itself is absolutely amazing. The staff and locals are all very friendly and want to help you in any way they can. The events planned during the trip were a nice mixture of touristy and non-touristy events so there is something for everyone. I would highly recommend choosing the Seoul location as it is a gorgeous place to live with so much culture. In terms of the actual work placement, I would recommend that everyone ask questions to your host company before choosing them and don’t be afraid to ask for a different placement in order to make sure you actually get placed in a field that you want to be in.

I have really enjoyed my time in Barcelona on the Beyond Academy internship program! Our community coordinator, Isabel, was excellent, she was always on hand to help and led some fantastic community events that helped us discover parts of the city we wouldn't have otherwise & experience typical events like flamenco and tapas! The community aspect is great to meet other interns on the program and is well-organised. My internship was not completely as expected, something that was not the fault of Beyond, and Beyond worked hard to provide appropriate solutions and support throughout this so my program was still meaningful to my professional growth. They also run a careers workshop and 1-to-1 meeting during your program, which were great to supplement your internship. I just concluded a 6 month program, and I can solidly say it was one of the best decisions I've made. Sure, the cost is not cheap but it's still a better deal than other similar programs, and after meeting other interns from other companies that offer internships in Japan, I can say with confidence I'm very glad I went with Beyond. The support was amazing, and I loved the coordinators, especially Stephanie and Olivia, who were there the entire duration of my program. I will be honest, what you get out of this is what you make of it, so as long as you're dedicated and set on having a once in a lifetime experience, you're going to be glad you chose this!

This internship really changed my life in ways I couldn’t have predicted. I had the idea that it would be constant fun, constantly doing things and waves of excitement and learning. But it was a combination of those things, but it came with a lot more difficulties than I expected. However, I actually think that it was vital for my growth as a person and it turns out I’m grateful for them. Seoul is a perfect city to live in for a while because it gives you the opportunity to experience something completely different and full of new experiences. When I started my experience in Seoul with Beyond, from the very first moment, the group of coordinators has been the best helping me in every possible way to make our experience as good as possible by organising many interesting and fun activities. Regarding the internship itself, I have to say that you have to be a bit specific when choosing what you want to work in and make sure that the company is the right one and that you think you will learn. In my case, I had to change companies because I wasn't working in exactly what I wanted, but when I moved to the second company, my work experience improved considerably.

I did a 3 month internship in Barcelona. I enjoyed my time there a lot and never was disappointed by the memories I created while I was there. I’d wanted to travel to South Korea for a very long time but was always too nervous to go by myself. As a recent graduate that is looking to begin my career in my chosen industry but also take some time for myself to travel, Beyond Academy provided the perfect opportunity for me to not only find work experience in another country and experience work culture there, but visit my dream destination and be surrounded by kind and helpful people. I really recommend this program to solo travellers or people wanting experience working in other countries but aren’t a quite sure how to do it! My time at beyond academy has been one of the best I've had so far! I was in Seoul for a little over two months and it was great! The people from beyond were so nice and it felt like they were there for us 24/7. We also did things together besides the events and in my case I was able to make some great new friends! My internship was a huge success and I was able to make a huge leap forward in my career. I did an internship as a fashion designer and made some lovely new contacts that will be really helpful in the future. In addition to the internship, it was also possible for me to visit my old internship place in Paris at a trade fair! I can only recommend Beyond academy to anyone who is open to something new and wants to pursue a career abroad, because it really is a huge springboard!

Being able to work in a global city as robust and diverse as London allows you to meet so many different people from all walks of life as well as multiple experiences that are great too! Moving abroad for 6 months or even 6 weeks can be an intimidating idea, but the staff at Beyond Academy makes it as smooth as possible and ensures support, community and cultural activities. I loved being in Dublin and learning about the culture. We did many fun events and the coordinators were extremely helpful in answering questions about how to find things in the city, other activities to do, and any other questions we might have. My biggest complaint was towards the internship portion of things. I think that requiring someone to work 40 hours a week for free is a bit much unless the person needs to for their university requirements. Working without pay can be really tough mentally especially when your internship may not be exactly what you want as a career. You end up without energy after a full day of working and don't have energy left to explore the cities in the evenings. However, I did still make time to go see everything I wanted to see and I loved Dublin so much that I will be coming back to work as soon as my visa processes.

During my 2-month internship in Dublin, I had the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally. Everyone was welcoming and supportive. The time I spent in Japan was amazing, but not perfect. The internship itself was really fun and helpful. Everything you do during the internship will depend entirely on the company you work for. I was lucky in that I worked for a foreign company but the downside was the commute. I would highly recommend looking for your own accommodation as it's so much cheaper and overall better. The social side of things is mixed. There are events which might interest you and might not. I was able to make some amazing friends and we ended up doing our own thing. Do what makes you happy, for your internship time. I'll probably always look back at my time in Japan fondly, because I've made friends for life and I had so much fun.

Although I believe my specific program could have benefited from a stronger scientific focus rather than a marketing one, my time here was immensely worthwhile. Brooklyn, the area coordinator, was amazing. For its first year in Amsterdam, Beyond Academy has been a resounding success.

My time in Japan was incredible! The Tokyo team with Beyond Academy were amazing, A friendly face and supporting hand wherever and Whenever I needed them. The program gives you the space to explore the city and the culture, network with other interns, develop your CV with one on one CV guidance and most importantly grow as an individual. It also can see the opportunity to travel during my time in Japan. I visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hakone, Yokohama and visited Seoul, Korea. I couldn’t recommend the program more to anyone who is starting their career and needing a boost in experience and adventure.

The Beyond Academy Tokyo Internship program was an exciting way for me to explore Tokyo, learn about Japanese culture, and gain some professional experience. The Beyond Academy program coordinators did an amazing job at being responsive, helping us navigate and acclimate to the new environment, and hosting community-building events. I really enjoyed the included Mt. Fuji trip, the tea ceremony in kimonos, and other dinners/events hosted by the coordinators. Beyond Academy overall helped me feel prepared, safe, and excited to explore Tokyo and see new things. The work experience was very entry-level level, and my particular workplace was not a traditional Japanese work environment at all. In one sense, this made it very welcoming and comfortable for me, but it also did not give me a great deal of exposure to Japanese business culture. Depending on what you are looking for, this could be a good thing or not the best thing. Also, if you speak Japanese (unlike me) you will have a greater number of options, many of which may be offer a more traditional Japanese work environment! None the less, I was still able to develop some new skills and learn a bit about the Japanese fintech market and finance as a whole, as that was the focus of my internship!

I was awarded a scholarship by my school to choose an Asian country to complete an internship in and I chose Tokyo at the last minute, not knowing what to expect and I couldn’t have chosen better. This experience has given me a new outlook on life and how to live it- not only has my career progressed but so have I.

When I was searching for an international internship, I was searching and looking at different agencies. Beyond Academy stood out because of their great reviews and great pricing, and not to mention their multiple options for locations. I chose to go to Tokyo with a business-industry-focused internship for eight weeks, and it did not disappoint! One day I was just scrolling around Instagram and then suddenly I came across an ad from Beyond Academy. It sparked my interest because I wanted to get an internship to boost up my resume & also explore Japan as well. So I went through the process & eventually I landed an internship in Tokyo. When I first landed in Haneda Airport for the first time, it felt so surreal to me because going to Japan has been my dream for a while & now it finally came true. My internship experience was really amazing, the office I worked at was great & I made friends with my fellow co-workers. My boss was also super goated as well, he would usually provide snacks for us & even treated dinner for us one day. I also made some good friends with the other interns through the many events in this program & made a ton of memories in Tokyo that I'll cherish forever. If you're reading this review right now, I definitely recommend signing up for this program if you're interested in doing an internship in Japan. Sure, the trip will cost a lot of money depending on how long you stay but both the internship & exploring what Japan has to offer will definitely be worth the money & the experience at the same time. What is your advice to future travelers on this program? I definitely recommend future interns to buy a sim or esim card if possible before landing in Japan. Sure, I was able to get by Tokyo & somehow not get lost once with just free wifi but it's way more convenient if you have a sim card. Also, please try to get a Suica or Pasmo card asap when you arrive at the airport, these are cards that will help you get through gates at train stations and they're basically a necessity to have in Tokyo, because you will definitely use the train everyday whether that would be for work or traveling. I had to buy train tickets for my first week & it got kinda annoying quick. It didn't take until over a week for me to finally get a Suica card (at one of the exits in Shinjuku or Tokyo Station I think?). There are also mobile apps that you can download on your phone and you can scan your phone at the gates to get by, though this only works for iPhone users. Pros Commuting is pretty convenient around here, doesn't take that long wherever you want to go. There are conveince stores & also vending machines everywhere if you're feeling either hungry or thirsty. There is just so so so much stuff to do in Tokyo & there's always something for everyone with Shibuya & Akihabara being the top cities I visited the most. Cons For some reason, trash cans are oddly rare in Japan but this is because the country is pretty clean. Still, sometimes I have to store my trash in my backpack or tote bag until I finally find a trash can somewhere or when I get back home. This is just a nitpick, but I don't like how train stations are windy, I lost one of my straw hats because of that. Oh, & trains can definitely be crowded at times, especially during rush hour. The trip just went by super fast, wish I could stay here forever ;((((

Overall I had a great time. It was fun working abroad and not knowing anyone. The activities that were planned were fun and interesting. I met a lot of cool people and made some new friends. Brooklyn was super nice and funny, and could not have asked for a better advisor/person.

Brooklyn was amazing at getting everyone settled and welcome. The events she planned were so much fun and brought people together quickly. She was also quick to help when I was ill. My internship was very interesting and I enjoyed learning from my experiences. I was able to make mistakes, explore, and progress. This provided a lot of motivation for the next steps in my professional career. I would highly recommend this program to anyone wondering what it’s like to live in Europe, or specifically the Netherlands.

The Beyond Academy Remote Internship Program has been a distinctive experience so far! From the beginning, I have been motivated and assisted by recruiters to later being supported by their placement and remote team. Chloe, my placement manager, has been supporting me from the start of this journey by ensuring to schedule interviews and place me with the companies that matched my interests and goals. Indeed, she succeeded to place me in a company that went beyond my expectations in my professional and personal career growth! Similarly, Bethany assured to make my remote experience engaging and purposeful through welcoming me with an online productivity & active learning course, giving me goal-setting activities, contacting me with a successful career coach, and best of all, always staying in touch for any feedback throughout my internship! As a Business Intern, my host company has given me the opportunity to learn from different business areas such as marketing and finance, and apply all the business core knowledge I have learned so far in college! Couldn't ask for a more meaningful remote internship experience. Extremely grateful to be able to build lasting connections with my host company and the Beyond Academy team!

This is great for someone who wants business experience in Tokyo but doesn’t know how to start. They pair you with a good company. I learned a lot about working in Japan. There are a lot of great events. My favorite was the mount Fuji day trip. Communication was also excellent! Made many friends and memories.

If you're looking to do an internship abroad and want to travel to Japan at the same time, then this program is for you! My internship experience overall was amazing & the events led by the coordinators were also very fun as well. I definitely wanna do this again next year!

The 6 week period I spent in Seoul was one I will cherish forever, for it pushed me so far out of my comfort zone that I was able to learn many new things not only about myself but also about a new culture, people, life in a foreign country, etc. This internship provided me with skills and experiences I won’t be able to find anywhere else, while also being surrounded by a new and welcoming community. At first the change from my regular day to day life was very jarring and I found it difficult to adjust, but thanks to those around me, I soon felt comfortable and confident about my new position. I can only praise and highly recommend BeyondAcademy.

Living in London for two months was an absolutely incredible experience! From meeting people from all over the globe to experiencing the city’s history, I learned so much and explored so many amazing places. There was always something to do! For anyone who will be in London for the first time, I have two words for you: afternoon tea. Do it. Multiple times. It is divine.

With the right internship, this experience can be extremely beneficial to you. Not only do you get to experience the work culture of South Korea, but you also get to experience how they live, the different foods, drinking culture and the vast history of the country and its capital. With all shops and cafes open until 10pm, it allows you to do things after work and I would normally stay out until at least 9pm nearly every night just because there are things you can actually do especially for me because I come from a place where everything closes at 6pm. All the events that are planned are mostly well thought out, but some can be feel a bit rushed but that never really bothered me because I knew I did have time to visit again if I wanted to. It is a very worthwhile experience.

When I first stumbled upon Beyond Academy and the possibility to do an internship abroad, I definetely thought it was a scam - but I was proven wrong! Although the programm fees are not peanuts and I would prefer to have more transparency on what the fees are used on, I am so happy with how the program went! Twice a week all of the lovely coordinators did their best to plan social events to explore Seoul, although some of the planned activities where a little too stressful with too places you needed to visit (for example the Hanbok event) or places closing soon (DDP Design Plaza). But most of the time the days are planned well and it was a great way to catch up with the other interns in the programm, so you feel integrated and not alone in a new environment. As for my internship company - I really learned a lot in my field of video editing and social media! Obviously there were ups and downs within the time being in the intern company, but for me it was a great opportunity to improve my resume and portfolio! For reference I did 3 months and for me it was the perfect length to have enough time to learn and integrate more into the company. So I would definetely recommend doing this experience if you have some savings, want to improve your resume and explore a new city!

If you're considering doing an internship through Beyond Academy, I'd say do not hesitate! Although the onboarding process was a bit shaky and lacked clarity, BA matched me with an amazing company in Tokyo. Words cannot describe how much I loved working with my boss and I'm so grateful for the doors of opportunity and relationships that have opened through it. Not to mention, the BA staff is stellar. They go above and beyond for the interns, and always checked in to make sure I was doing okay and adjusting. I'm so excited to go back and see them again!

Loved the London Beyond Community. Everyone is very friendly and sweet and had a really good time overall. The community coordinators were amazing and very supportive and fun. London is an amazing city just kind of expensive :/ other than that amazing overall

Beyond Academy was so amazing !! I was a bit nervous in the beginning, but after the first day meeting the other interns the nerves instantly went away. Everyone I met was so great and I had the absolute best time. All of the events were so much fun and it was a fantastic way to experience more of London. Definitely something I will always look back on and was an experience of a life time. I even extended my trip two extra weeks and wished I could have stayed longer. I definitely & highly recommend :)

I highly reccomend this program to anyone who wants work experience and to experience a different culture and travel. Japan is an incredible country and this was one of the most amazing experiences. It is easy to meet other interns through the community events held almost every week and I was able to gain valuable work experience through the program.

I had an extremely memorable, valuable and fun experience during my internship with Beyond Academy ? I enjoyed the activities, where I was staying and have also made lifelong friends in the coliving community. Being the only intern, was a perfect experience for me and something that worked well and I preferred personally! I managed to meet others through attending language exchange events and taking up salsa classes outside of my internship hours which helped me step out of my comfort zone and meet new people ? My internship was with a start up company where I was learning 3D modelling! My colleagues were very supportive and considerate and I'm very blessed I got to work with them. My community co-ordinator Leticia is a wonderful human being who I have really enjoyed getting to know over these last few months. She is very organised, considerate and empathic and if I could do the experience all over again for the first time I would! Very glad I chose Barcelona! ❤️

The Tokyo Program was truly a once in a lifetime experience. I met people and took part in activities that I would’ve otherwise never done, and the Beyond team were so helpful the entire time. From the moment you sign up until the day you leave Tokyo the team are on hand to help you with any worries or issues you may have, all while providing wonderful experiences for you to enjoy with others on the program. There were a great variety of events, all of which I loved doing. I couldn't recommend Beyond Academy enough to anyone who wants to see the sights of Tokyo while also getting a unique internship experience. 10/10

The Beyond Academy Tokyo program is an incredible program I'd recommend to anyone who's interested. From the moment you sign up to the day you leave Japan, they are so helpful and kind, and I think where they especially shine is with the local team. The local help team has been absolutely amazing throughout my whole time in Japan, and I honestly could not have asked for them to be any better. Beyond Academy also organises a huge number of events for interns to attend, with there usually being one on Thursday evenings and Sunday daytimes. These events are super useful for getting integrated in Tokyo, as well as getting to know your fellow interns better. Some of the events organised during my time here were a day trip to mount fuji, an afternoon in the historic area of asakusa wearing kimonos, a tour of different natural disasters and how to deal with them, held by the Tokyo fire department, and many more. All in all, this is a wonderful program, that I wholeheartedly support, and I'm so glad j chose to do it, having made many friends and great experiences to remember it by. I 100% recommend anyone considering it to give it a try.

All I can say is Wow! Although not my first time in Japan, I went in 2019 with another Internship program at the time, and to put it mildly the experience left somethings to be desired. However I decided to take another chance and found out about Beyond Academy. I'm gald I made the choice. The team from onboarding to Finance and then the support staff and Coordinators you meet in Japan, all went above and beyond to ensure and provide everything is up to par and should you need help their never a moments message away. Never in my dreams did I expect to go to Mount Fuji two days before my birthday! The events that they plan for the group range from exciting trips to well known and hidden secrets of Japan. For Dinners or Lunches the Coordinators will work with whatever food conditions you have and plan accordingly. I like to Thank the Staff Alize, Stephanie, Fristy for their hard word and dedication. 11/10 Would recommed to anyone whose first time visiting Japan or if you want a another experience for youself!

The Beyond Academy internship abroad program in Seoul was a transformative experience that exceeded my expectations in every way. One of my favorite parts of this program was the amazing cultural experience. I love Beyond Academy!! I don't think I've ever met anyone from their team that I didn't absolutely adore. Everyone was super accommodating and hands-on from the very beginning and when I got to NYC - omg I had the best time ever. Michelle, my coordinator, became my tour guide, confidant, and motivator at the same time. She definitely made the experience so memorable for me by taking into account my interests and just by being the best person to ever exist. Olivia also went above and beyond (no pun intended) to make sure that I was taken care of. Summer, Ozair, and Ana made sure I was able to file and process everything before I left home. Everyone's just amazing, the city is beautiful, I learned so much from my internship, and I obviously definitely recommend their program!!

This was the most amazing two months of my life! I met so many interesting people, went to the most beautiful places and gained very valuable work experience though Beyond Academy's internship program. My internship company wanted to extend the internship even before and after the two months I was in Japan and I am still currently working for them. The coordinators were amazing and we became friends during my stay. I will continue this friendship past the Beyond Academy. I'm already planning my next stay in Japan. I have to come back! Also special thanks to Beyond Academy's finance side for working with my budget and having that flexibility so that I could attend this program. It was worth the money, and beyond.

The point of this trip for me was to immerse in a complete opposite lifestyle to experiment with what I enjoy and where my life could lead through career and even simply if I enjoy traveling. This trip has taught me a lot in less than 3 weeks and I have 7 more to go. So far the activities and freedoms I’ve found in this trip have exceeded my expectations, and I am overall very happy that I was given this opportunity.

I had the most incredible 2 months in Japan, it exceeded all my expectations and really started to feel like home. My internship in the charity industry was everything I hoped for, my manager pushed me to be my best self and I’m so grateful for his support throughout my time here. Stephanie and Fristy were amazing community coordinators and always made sure we were having a great time and having real Japanese experiences. I really loved the events that were organised for us. The only negative was that it was quite stressful getting my internship before I got here. It was only confirmed very close to when I was meant to be flying out. However, as soon as it was sorted it was just excitement from there. I already cant wait to return to Japan!

I was originally skeptical of the program because I didn’t have the best experience with internship choices and was essentially told to choose the first option presented to me (that didn’t match my career goals) and that they couldn’t guarantee any other interviews than that one due to lack of demand in that sector, but still required a hefty fee for their search. The internship that they got me was one that I had found independently on my own and could have gotten without their connection. However, I think that overall the program was worth it for my needs because they got me very nice housing close to my work, weekly dinners with everyone (the on-site staff was amazing), and extra resources that help with career development! I made great friends and really appreciated having a community in the big city that could have gotten lonely otherwise. Overall I really do recommend the program but do some research on the internship beforehand and be assertive about your needs!

My two months in Beyond Academy's programme in Tokyo was one of the best times in my life. I got to go explore and hang out in many different places in Tokyo, try out different foods, take part in many different events, and meet and have new friends thanks to Beyond Academy. It also allowed me to start my career strongly through the internship that they helped find for me, which was very engaging and fun. When I first came across Beyond Academy, I could not believe my eyes, it just seemed too good to be true. But from first contact onwards, it truly was as good as they promised. Every point of contact was warm and welcoming, they truly take the time and care to tailor this internship to be what you want. I had such a hard time deciding on which company I wanted to intern with, because the two they found me were so amazing, it hurt me to see the other one go. But once the decision was made, this very informative countdown started, I would receive emails with very important information and reminders to make my trip to Seoul much easier. Once I arrived at my destination, the team was a huge source of comfort, because no matter what, I knew that there was someone I could turn to in the case of an emergency. Not only that, but they took the time to plan all these activities (taking into consideration what me and other interns would enjoy), so I truly feel like I made good use of my time, and I got to experience Seoul in a way not many get to do. Beyond Academy provided a straight forward way in order to apply for the program. I got clear instructions and informations about the process in order to get selected. The whole preparation before arriving in Tokyo was explicit. And also the communication during the stay in Japan was always simple. I had lots of fun during the events proposed by Beyond Academy and I really appreciated having people around in order to socialise. If you are thinking about doing an internship abroad, you should do it with Beyond. Not only do they put you in contact with some incredible companies to intern with, guide you through the process and help you with the visa situation, but once you actually get to the location it's even better. Although the accommodation could have been better, the fellow interns and the community guide make up for it fully. You have a lot of freedom in planning what you want to do during your time in Sydney, but the structure of the activities keep you occupied even if you don't want to plan things yourself. It can be a bit intimidating going abroad, but Beyond Academy makes the experience amazing in every way, and they're fully there for you every step of the way.

If you’ve ever wondered what life down under is really like, this is the program for you. Studying abroad has its perks but only when you live and work in a place do you get a sense of what it’s all about. Beyond did a fantastic job matching me with a dream come true of a company, where the connections I made and opportunities I’d been given were worth their weight in gold. Outside of work, the included events (plus a few us interns planned) really helped us to get to know the city and culture. The opera house is a fantastic venue even if you don’t speak the language the show you’re watching is in, and the Blue Mountain Falls are breathtaking, partially because in winter the water is so cold you’ll seize up just a little bit. And if you’re ever feeling crazy, there was a pretty fantastic skydiving company just an hour inland. Good fun, right? Our community coordinator was great, and it often felt like we were meeting a local friend to go explore and get to know the hidden gems (as well as the vegan taco shops). What almost every travel website says is true, Australians are good fun. Everyone we met or talked to was so welcoming, to the point where I was able to make a friend on the beach within 5 minutes of us meeting. Locals were willing to show us about, and were more than proud of their culture and hometowns. Great people, great place, great program.

I was really happy with my experience at Beyond. When my initial internship didn't turn out the way I expected, I was able to work with the team at Beyond and my intern company to find a solution that satisfied everyone. I was happy that the Beyond staff worked so hard to make sure I was satisfied with my internship experience. In the end, I found not only a better company to continue my internship but also a permanent working position within that company after my internship ended. I was able to meet really cool people and had some great experiences through this program as well. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in trying an internship experience here in Seoul, as long as you come with the right mindset. Remember the Korean working environment is probably much different than what you are used to. So if you are a flexible type of person and think you can handle it, give it a try.

I have had one of the most amazing and memorable experiences here in Seoul with Beyond Academy. Not only do you get a fulfilling internship experience, but the events they’re organise and the community coordinators are the best bits!! They make you feel at home and the interns and coordinators become a little family!! I really recommend this experience, as it is an amazing way to grow as a person while also building an amazing opportunity to write on your CV. I would 100% consider doing another internship with Beyond!

Coming to Aouth Korea was already a dream come true. Working at a Korean company was a culture shock for sure but everyone was nice and understanding. Beyond prepared events that had me fully immersed and not wanting to leave Korea.

Had a really good time with this company in Sydney and we were set up with a really friendly support staff member. It was an incredible city and the company Sydney rep set us up with lots of fun activities where we could explore the city through the perspective of a local and a tourist. The lodge was a bit out of the way across the bridge but it did mean there was a nice view on the way to the city daily. Beyond Academy created a perfect opportunity for travel and work experience which has really enhanced my resume, they set me up with an amazing company and allowed me to give them my input on what places I would and wouldn't work in.

I had the best time in Barcelona with Beyond Academy! I had a great time with the people around me who were also in my program and I expect that the friendships I made abroad will stay with me forever as well as the wonderful memories. It was such an unforgettable experience I would do anything to be back. I also always felt very safe knowing there was someone there who was always just a phone call away and was able to help me with any problems I had. Our accommodation wasn't super inner city which was at times inconvenient but we did all have our own bedroom and bathroom, we additionally had a gym and rooftop pool, but I believe the best part was that I always felt safe having 24-hour security. I also really liked that there were coordinated events for us to explore the city. I know that if It was left to us to do I probably wouldn't have seen or learned as much as I did about the city. I will say the beginning of the process was kind of confusing with the amount of people I was in contact with and the program is pretty expensive. I don't think I would do it again because of this but I'm still really very glad I did it and don't regret it at all.

The reason that I applied for this programme was to know whether I would be able to work in this country. And I saw the possibility. English is not my first language, so I was always afraid of using it. However, during the programme, I had a lot of opportunities to practice and improve my English knowledge. Now I feel confident and ready to have meaningful relationships with other people using the language. It was not only about the language; it was also good to learn the work culture in the UK. I was working for a marketing company, and it came to my mind that communication is very important. I saw many people giving feedback to each other relentlessly to get to the best result. It also helped me learn how to work as a team, and I believe this is something you wouldn't get to learn when you are a student and often just write essays stuck in your room all day long. London is a multicultural city. It was such an opportunity for me to get used to various regional accents and experience many different cultures. You would get all sort of Indian, Korean, Chinese, English, and other types of foods, and surprisingly they are authentic. During the programme, I was also able to meet a lot of people from different countries. We had community events twice a week from Beyond Academy, and it was interesting enough for me to meet people from India, Nigeria, America, etc. London has a lot of things to see and experience. Many attractions are located in Central London altogether, so it was easy for me to look around the area and visit them. Although the hustle and bustle of the city, there were always new things coming up whenever I entered in a different area, which kept me enjoyable and excited. I would like to give thanks to the team of Beyond Academy for giving me such a valuable experience. I believe that people have to see and experience as much as possible, especially when they are young. Hope they keep up the good work.

Working with this small start up company gave me the exposure I needed to understand the world of Human Resources and apply the skills learnt. The operations manager and the director were in contact with me everyday to keep updated on my work and my progress. It was fulfilling to have them motivate and teach me till the end of my internship.

I absolutely loved my Dublin summer internship through Beyond Academy! Beyond Academy made the daunting process of interning abroad easy and nearly stress-free. The program took care of all of the nitty-gritty work that needs to be done before moving abroad like searching for an internship and finding housing, and I was able to focus on my internship and on exploring the city!

During my internship in Seoul, I learned so much and had such a wonderful time. I was able to meet a lot of interesting people in my industry who I never would have had the chance to meet otherwise, so the networking chances were fantastic. The friendships I developed with the other interns were the icing on the cake, and it was an amazing experience getting to know so many people from different countries. The coordinators are really kind and helpful, and also fun! The weekly events organised for us were fantastic, and they made the whole experience that much more enjoyable and educational. The office environment was not only friendly, but also entertaining and very generous. This was my first trip to South Korea, so I wanted to make sure I could enter and stay in the country without any problems as I don't even speak the language. Beyond Academy ensured that I could do all of that prepared to answer any question I had. My internship was the best possible experience.

When I went to Tokyo to work, I couldn't even begin to anticipate what this city had in store. Beyond enhanced the city's magic by always having something to do, providing an incredible support team, and making me feel at home with my community there. I felt like I was able to get the true Tokyo experience, mainly with the help from Beyond and its members there.

The organiser I had and the group of interns I found myself with, made my experience worth it. They were very friendly and comforting, which helped when working remotely. Barcelona provided many beautiful cultural outings and events and it was a good way of experiencing a new culture while also gaining professional experience.

I really enjoyed my time in Dublin! I absolutely loved the company I was working with and was able to gain many skills that contribute to my future business goals. I loved the community events planned by Beyond and really felt like I was able to experience all that Ireland has to offer. I would recommend this program to any student looking to gain international experience and feel supported in the process.

The 8 weeks I spent in Dublin were great! I did enjoy my time at my placement company, however I unfortunately was given the full opportunity to cover everything that was in my initial job scope. The culture and environment in the office though, was fantastic! I felt really welcomed in and was what made my experience in Dublin. I also thoroughly enjoyed all the activities planned, from pub visits, to trekking in the Irish mountains, to cultural nights. The great variety was appreciated and was always the highlight of my week. Overall it was a great experience!

I had an incredible 5 weeks as an intern in Dublin. The host company and Beyond staff were so kind and helpful during my stay. I gained a lot of valuable experience in my field of interest that will serve me well in the future.

Since this program is centered on internships, I got to experience two unique communities. One in the workplace and the other with my fellow Beyonders. There was never a dull moment, and I got to experience Sydney to the fullest extent during my 8 week stay. I had the freedom to plan my own events and excursions, as well as participate in the Beyond Academy coordinated events. Our community coordinator was especially great at customizing the activities to our specific group of interns, and the role success team was very supportive in preparation for the internship.

I had the best time while interning in my favorite city! I was a marketing intern at Jet Media Network and could not have asked for a better atmosphere of work and people. I felt so welcome every time I stepped into my office and they always had something interesting for me to do, even going to content shoots for big names in the sports & entertainment industry! The beyond staff were so kind and I hope to see them again as I plan to return to London to study for my Master's. I would recommend this experience to anyone and I always felt so safe. My accommodation was fantastic and brand new. It was a commute but the tube system is so quick and easy to navigate I really felt powerful getting to and from places on my own haha. Thank you all for the best summer ever and I hope to be back soon!

This was one of the best and most memorable times of my life! It was great to have support in not only finding the perfect internship, but an accommodation a short tube ride away from central London. The event coordinators/leaders did a great job at providing the best possible London experience. They planned very fun events that took place weekly, including booking a very nice food tour. Out of all the similar programs I looked into, Beyond Academy is definitely the one that gives the most for what you pay. If your planning on going abroad, I can’t recommend Beyond Academy enough!

Beyond academy was great. They first walked us through all of the steps to get an internship in a foreign country. Applying for a work visa was a confusing process that they were able to walk me through seamlessly. Once we arrived to London, they held multiple events for me and the other interns where we were able to get to know each other as well as the city of London. We went to multiple dinners, a food tour, a day trip to Cambridge, and more.

The Seoul program made my first internship experience convenient, exciting and led me to meet some wonderful people. Coming to a foreign country for an internship is a daunting task, but with the help of everyone in Beyond Academy, especially the on-site coordinators, it was an easy transition into a new culture and city! The amount of passion the on-site coordinators have and the time they take to make sure every intern really experiences Seoul, is amazing to me. I have made friendships that will last a lifetime and connections in my work network that could help me exponentially in the future. Even though I had been to Korea before coming through Beyond Academy, the on-sight coordinators introduced me to different parts of the Korean culture that I had never seen before. I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to experience a new culture and build their network whether it is your first time or if you are returning to Korea! I wish I could have stayed longer!

The past six weeks of my life were probably the best! I got the opportunity to return to the greatest city in the world, London! As someone who's been to the city before, it was nice to familiarize myself with the surroundings. Familiar sights reminded me of my two previous trips to this city! Anyway, Beyond Academy has proven to be a remarkable and extraordinary internship abroad company! They placed me with an incredible company that made me feel welcome and loved! I also enjoyed the events that Beyond hosted each week. This allowed me to meet and mingle with fellow interns in the program. Some of whom have become close friends! These events also allowed me to see parts of London I had never seen before! As a travel lover, exploring and taking in the London atmosphere was great! Now, as wonderful as this program was for me, there are a few things that need to be improved. Just so that future interns can have an even better experience. First thing, they need to work on communication during the work placement process. It took almost two months to find a work placement and the fact that communication at times was minimum is a bit concerning on my end. I feel that this process could be improved if there were more people that the interns could speak with so that the application, interview, and visa processes are quick, easy, and effective. Second, when it comes to housing, I was a bit disappointed that my accommodation was located almost an hour away from my work location. There were numerous times during my stay when I would be running late due to train delays or even protests. They said that my commute would be 30 minutes or less. Finally, I really wish this company would provide transportation to the airport when my internship concluded. They did provide a ride when I arrived, but I was on my own when I departed. I feel that they could be more clear about that and provide transportation options for us. Other than those few minor flaws, this internship turned out to be one of the greatest summers of my life! I have plans to return to London in the not-so-distant future to further my endeavors and start my career working in the theatre industry! I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to have a wonderful time and gain experience in the industry they choose to work in!

Overall, my time in London was fantastic and I will remember this experience forever. The Beyond community coordinators were super fun and I enjoyed the events they would set up each week. It was great to meet other interns from around the world and it was very comforting knowing there was someone there if I needed something, especially being alone in a big city.

The program and the supervisors were professionally assisting me from the very start of the application to the end when I was leaving Seoul. My internship was amazing as it was exactly the right atmosphere I hoped for. I did not only work in a creative environment learning stuff but also explored Seoul and had a lot of fun both working and exploring/partying in Seoul.

This was a great way to do an internship while exploring a different part of the world. Beyond Academy did a great job of finding an internship that was a good fit for me. The accommodation they provided was a nice place with a short commute to the place I worked. They had weekly fun community events where you could get to know other interns. Beyond Academy was great about providing lots of information about each step of the program. They were super helpful whenever I needed help with anything. I really enjoyed my time in the program.

The program was fun. They have events lined up for you, and I got to meet great people to hang out with over the program. They're pretty good at finding what's trendy at the moment and recommend events outside of the program as well. Regarding internships, they found one for me pretty fast, and it was with a great start-up in a nice working environment (for context, I'm an architecture student btw, might be different for other industries). Overall, great!

Beyond Academy’s Tokyo program was truly amazing, it allowed me to have a great start to my career with my internship company which led to me being employed full time. The events are always fun to attend and with it being Tokyo, there is never a shortage of things to do and see. If help is never needed the Tokyo coordinators are always happy to help with whatever it may be. This was my first time away from home since COVID was in the way of moving out for college and I was pleasantly surprised at how at home I felt because the community support was there even from before I arrived! I would definitely recommend this to get out of your shell and explore!

As this program was pretty expensive, I was hesitant to sign up, but I'm really glad I did! Overall, it's been a really great experience and I enjoy the company I'm interning at. There's events twice a week, which helps you get to know the city, have meaningful experiences, and keeps you in contact with the other interns, which I find really beneficial. I will say, there was some radio silence between when I got my internship placement and the weeks before departure which made me a bit anxious, but everything worked out. My parents were worried about this being a scam as well since they hadn't heard of BA at all, but the Seoul coordinator Alize and the global coordinator Anne Marie set up a zoom call with them to answer any questions that they had (thank you both so much for that again). The one downside I've had was with housing, as I had some issues that BA couldn't do anything about and the location of the housing is pretty far (about a 50 minute subway ride). But overall, really great experience and I feel like I've grown a lot as a professional in my preferred field!

We are beyond we’re very helpful in helping me find an internship which best suits my needs in what I need to learn while I am working from home. They have set me up with a company who is doing everything they can to teach me everything about marketing and also a company that cares and wants to see me progress and learn as the weeks go by.

I had a wonderful three month internship in Tokyo facilitated by the amazing folks at Beyond Academy. The Beyond Academy team helped pair me up with a company, found me a place to stay, and planned tons of social events coordinated by the amazing Imran and Anabelle. Spending a few months in Japan was a great way to experience a different work culture, and Beyond Academy truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and to make my time in Tokyo fun and rewarding. I highly recommend this program to anyone with even a passing interest in Japan and Japanese culture.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in NYC. The Beyond Academy team was incredibly attentive and always available to assist with anything I needed. The people of New York are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and I had some of the most delicious pizza and sandwiches I've ever tasted. Some of my favorite experiences included visiting the The Met and walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. However, I also had a great time on the less touristy adventures where we explored off-the-beaten-path comedy shows and local food hotspots. This was my first Christmas abroad, never mind alone, but it was one of the most memorable Christmas' of my life. The build up in NYC for Christmas is different to anything I've ever experienced. We visited Christmassy streets, watched The Rockette's and visited an ice-skating rink. While I'm sad to leave, I feel grateful for the memories I've made and know that should I ever return, I'll feel like I'm coming home.

I've felt so welcomed since I arrived, and I've gained a lot of valuable work experience that will undoubtedly help me in my later career. Everyone was extremely helpful at every stage of the process, and I hope to return at some point in the future!

Time seems to fly pass so fast when you most enjoy it. For me, I came to London because of my degree study (the GDL/ master in law). I would not forget the opportunity beyond academy gave me when I most needed it as it is very competitive in the profession I chose to opt in which I also feel passionate about. My last words would be thank you Beyond Academy for the warm welcome you made me feel, especially during the Christmas as an foreigner/ migrants living in a foreign land.

Coming to Seoul was the best decision of my life. Since I originally applied for Tokyo, but couldn't make it due to Covid restrictions, I had no idea what to expect from Seoul. I only heared of an unhealthy work-life balance and and absolute discipline among the society. But my picture totally changed. I kind of got adopted by my coworker who always made sure I was feeling good, did not overwork myself and could eat vegetarian food. Additionally my boss and the whole beyond academy was really caring too. All Koreans I meat were respectfull, helpfull, even when you couldn't speak the language, friendly and overall welcoming to foreigners. Besides that I had the best time with my fellow programm people. We cooked together at out accomondation, went out for partying and got along really well. On top of that was the food experiance. At first it was tough to find vegetarian food, but once you knew your spots, it was amazing. I fell in love with all kinds of food and how healthy it is.

Taking part in this program was something I never would’ve imagined for myself. It was more than I ever could’ve hoped for. The experiences, the food, the new friends were all some of the best experiences of my life. I’ve made life long memories here with new lifelong friends that I will consider such a big part of my life.

I have always wanted to visit and experience life in New York and Beyond Academy has more than helped me achieve that. In addition to the quality job experience I received, there was always something to do, a place to eat, a landmark to visit and I enjoyed every event my coordinators brought me to. There was never a dull moment and I found myself being more confident with exploring the city thanks to their events and recommendations. My coordinators were extremely helpful and accommodating with every issue I had which overall made my experience with both New York and Beyond Academy a very valuable one.

Finding an internship and traveling abroad can often be a scary, lonely experience, especially if you're away for a long time. That is why I do not regret choosing to do it with Beyond Academy (BA). The community they've created in Seoul is full of fun, support, and simply fantastic people. My beginning in Seoul wasn't easy, but BA made it feel so safe, and eventually, it became my second home. I was there for 4 months, and each month was filled with amazing experiences arranged by BA. What I think is worth highlighting is the fact that the program managers are always there to help you, from places to go in Seoul, to travel advice, to how to order food. I really enjoyed the internship program of Beyond Academy here in Seoul! It’s very well structured and the coordinators are very kind and helpful. Therefore it was very easy to adjust to the new country/city and make new friends with in the program. The events were very good to get closer to the city life and the Korean culture. I had an amazing time here and lot of fun and was able to gain experience.

As a recent undergrad, I was looking forward to traveling. When I came across Beyond Academy, this would be the perfect opportunity to do so. Once I had chosen my location and arrived in Seoul, I was beyond (no pun intended) nervous because I didn't know what to expect. I was so glad that Beyond Academy made me as comfortable as possible. Everything from them was organized well, and I got to my accommodation in one piece. Where I stayed was nice. I loved the location because I was only a minute from the station and everything around my accommodation was highly convenient. No fault is going towards Beyond Academy, but I hoped to have more amenities at my accommodation. Alize, our coordinator, was so great! She helped us navigate the city and find our workplace, which was extremely helpful, and I made friends for life! Also, the events that Beyond Academy set up were scheduled every week, which was nice because there was always something to look forward to, and it helped all of us interns get closer! Our other coordinator, Sooyeon, was also fantastic at attending the events, making us feel like we were having a fun experience in Seoul! I felt like I had support every step of the way, and I never felt alone, which was my biggest concern. Everyone has been so kind and helpful, making me feel safe and comfortable. Honestly, this internship went much better than I expected, and as someone who has never traveled this far from home, I didn't know if I could do it. This program helped me step out of my comfort zone and helped me grow as a person! My chosen internship placement was great as well! I didn't have any issues, and I was also glad that I could get the whole experience of learning about K-Pop, and Korean culture and having fun every day! If you're hesitant about studying abroad or flying far from home, step out of your comfort zone and go because you will have a great time through Beyond Academy. I am proud to be a Beyonder, and hopefully, soon, I'll return to Seoul because it is the best place I have ever traveled to thus far!

I'm so glad to have joined the program and decided to intern in Seoul. Travelling abroad and immersing yourself in a new culture can be challenging at first but having the most supportive people throughout the program was really helpful. The two coordinators based in Seoul are really kind and helped me with all the questions I had. The events and fun trips they organize are a great way to spend time together with all the other interns and make new friends. I'm happy about the host company I worked with, the opportunities and the new skills've learned during my internship in Seoul. The accomodation is in a convenient location with shops nearby and the subway station. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to travel, learn, netowork, meet new people, and grow as an individual.

Experience was overall positive, as a relatively independent traveller (i.e., didn't need to chase after Beyond Academy for much). Would recommend to recent graduates. A good way to get work experience as well as travel and immerse in new cultures.

I had a great experience with Beyond Academy. There’s nothing like having someone on the ground in Seoul who can help identify the companies that are open to English-speaking interns. It’s not easy to do. But what really shines about Beyond Academy is the community. The community managers make sure you never feel alone. They welcome you with open arms and fill your social calendar with fun, culturally-rich activities that you can share with other interns. And they’re always there when you need support or if you just want to hang out. We’re still friends to this day! The cherry on top: my internship turned into a remote part-time job while I finish school; I seriously don’t have any complaints! The program may be on the pricy side, but it was well worth it for me. Would 100% recommend if you can swing it.

I had the best time interning in London through Beyond Academy. I spent 4 1/2 months working in the city and always felt supported by the Beyond Academy team. They organized lots of events that interns can participate in, which were all super fun! They make sure you never feel alone, which was a huge plus for me since I was had never been to the UK before. They are really good at making sure you get a internship that matches your career goals and help you through the Visa process as well, which can be overwhelming. They make the entire process easy! It can get costly, but it all depends on the length of your program and if your internship pays or not. There is a lot of flexibility in the options they offer, so it can actually be affordable. My experience with Beyond was great. The onboarding I feel needs to be a bit more communicative, but once you're there, you have everything you need. I was lucky to already have some connections to the UK, so I spent a lot of time on my own and with friends. But, Beyond sets up a great calendar of events where you get to experience the city, the food, the history, and make some great friends. I had a rough accommodation at the start, but Beyond was very communicative about it and was quick to change me to a whole new accommodation which I loved. I got to travel a lot freely since my internship was mostly remote, and participate in Beyond events when I was in London. All in all, I feel I got to experience the city the most and feel like a local by the end. Beyond Academy is filled with some great people. The staff are great and go the extra mile to really make sure you are comfortable and get the most out of the experience. The Beyond Academy London Internship Program has been so far the best experience in my life! Could not expected better! The location of the accommodation was perfect: a very central and dynamic area! At the beginning I had a little problem with my accommodation but the Beyond Academy team has been very responsive. In only few days I was in a better accommodation in the same building. The whole team is very caring and in case of a problem, they will fix it in a very short time. My internship was very interesting and in a very great area also. The trips organized by Beyond were well chosen; there were different styles of trips: cultural, food, drinks, excursions, visits of London monuments... For all tastes! I am so happy that I made the decision to apply with Beyond Academy to help me find an internship and live abroad in Korea. I was out of my comfort zone and everything was just perfect. All in all, I would definitely recommend this program to anyone interested in visiting an amazing city and would like to gain experience while they are here.

I'm almost midway to my London Internship program. So far I'm enjoying every second of it. I get to work as an intern at the same time tour around the streets of London. Beyond Academy is very helpful and accommodating when it comes to assisting us interns make the most out of our London program. I'd say anyone who's thinking of joining Beyond Academy would not regret it. It's one of the best decisions I made after graduating. The training and work experience you'll gain can really be a big help for your goals and future career endeavours.

My time with Beyond Academy has been super amazing. All through the process they have been informative and helpful, answered all my questions and made sure I was never in the dark about anything, giving all the info I needed about the pragmatics of my travel. My tour guide Alize in particular has been absolutely wonderful and so so willing to always help, no matter the challenging situations we seem to find ourselves in, and the flexibility and freedom given to decide on the sort of activities we want to do has been great. I also feel that Alize's understanding of the city really meant that we have been able to get a feel for the city from the perspective of a true local. The support offered by having a guide also meant that someone was there to support you to ease the hard transition and hold your hand during the hard moments, and help navigate things I would've been very stressed to do alone, like checking in, finding my workplace, and navigating the language barrier. It also means when you get here, it's impossible to feel lonely. The activities have been varied and exciting too, though I felt in the winter months in particular it was harder to find things to do due to the temperature - I definitely recommend the warmer months. The complimentary gifts, meals, historical tours and even trips (!!) from Beyond Academy, as well as their willingness to offer support particularly with Covid difficulties (i.e. covering some of my hotel quarantine cost) have been a lovely addition. There were a few hitches, particularly due to Covid, where I believe I could have been warned a little earlier about things (e.g. travelling elsewhere for my 90 day tourism visa when Japan is in fact closed), or the fact that my internship wasn't directly related to the field I applied to, due to many of their partners being unable to take someone on during the pandemic. But overall, the programme has given me such a unique means of exploring Seoul, and offered immediate support at every turn when these things haven't quite gone right. It is their willingness to always help and improve your experience, that will stick with me. I think I couldn't have experienced Seoul in a way that had a more perfect blend of support and structure alongside giving you the freedom and knowledge to navigate the city yourself.

It is impossible to fault anything about my experience. Firstly, the help and support shown by the Beyond Academy throughout my internship has been incredible. From help with cover letters to general advice, it has been superb. Secondly, the tools available on the Beyond Academy portal are of great benefit, especially the CV toolkit which I would recommend to anyone who, like me, is not confident of putting together their own CV. Finally, my actually internship was thoroughly enjoyable throughout and has allowed me to choose what career I would like going forward in life. Thanks Beyond Academy

I had an amazing time with Beyond Academy. They found me the perfect internship in my preferred field, set me up with an outstanding accommodation in central London, arranged super fun social outings and field trips, and introduced me to a wonderful community of fellow global interns. Overall, this was the perfect next step for me after graduating college, as it gave me so much professional and personal confidence. I loved the program admins, fellow interns, partnered company, and the entire Beyond experience. I would 100% recommend.

Enrolling in this internship was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made. I learnt so much more than I was expecting, met some of the most incredible people and had an experience of a lifetime. The Beyond Academy team are welcoming, kind and compassionate. They supported me, and the rest of the team, throughout the entire summer. We had super organised social events and constant feedback opportunities. The company was perfectly suited to me and I could not be more grateful to have been given the opportunity to work there. I would not be in the position I am in now without Beyond!

I can only thank Beyond Academy, who found a variety of sustainability-based programmes to suit my ultimately quite specific needs! To have seen the dedication to find a role that matched my credentials and interests was truly special, as the Beyond Programme Coordinators truly treat Interns like family. Love it - thank you!

Could not recommend Beyond Academy and the team more such amazingly helpful, kind and welcoming individuals who would make you feel at home no matter where in the world you are. No matter what time of day or what the situation they will be straight back with a solution. I have made the best group of friends which I will definitely be in touch with for life, all with similar drives and ambitions to do well. Gaining experience in the workplace is so important and opens your imagination to all the options and roads that one can take that you mightn't have even thought about before. Honestly, the most incredible summer with unforgettable memories. I have absolutely 0 complaints to make.

The Beyond team really went out of their way to help make everything happen. After failing my first interview, Krystal did an hour-long video call with me and helped me work on my confidence and interview skills. Her advice helped so much and I was successful on my next one! I was all set for my Seoul program but due to covid situation unfortunately I was not able to go as planned. Beyond had already lined up the internship but as I couldn’t delay my start date, I ended up doing most of it online. I’m actually very glad with how things turned out. My internship was 2.5 months and my colleagues really made me feel part of the team. I also managed to sit in on many client and agency zoom meetings which was cool!. My company is a mid to high-end fashion brand based in Seoul that’s now expanding their marketing reach to the US. So everything actually worked out super well. I hope to join Beyond again in summer 2022!

My time in Tokyo was honestly the best experience ever. I was quite nervous before leaving but the help and support that the Beyond team gave me was really what made the entire experience so great. From helping me prepare for interviews to even advising me on what to pack for the trip! I arrived at a similar time as another intern, and we were picked up from the airport by the community manager. Being able to meet others who were new in town during orientation really helped me settle in as well, and my worries went away pretty quickly. The internship itself was fantastic. I worked hard but it was really worth it. My team (and the company in general) was really international and I was able to work on a range of projects that put my marketing degree to the test. Tokyo was very different to home but more the reason to love it. I got to try lots of local Japanese food that we just don't get in the UK. I have to say that I’m completely in love with Japanese food now, and despite my failed attempt at making sushi again after our class in Tokyo, I’ve bought a new Japanese cookbook! Most Japanese people in Tokyo speak a little English, but despite the language barrier everyone was just so friendly and nice. I’m planning to visit Japan again with my family next year, and hopefully see the sakura season this time round!. PS (sorry for the VERY late review).

I joined the Beyond Academy program in January. With no work experience and having never travelled on my own it was a slightly scary prospect but I can safely say it was a great decision. I always wanted to go to Japan and being able to work and live there I thought would be beyond my reach with all the paperwork and trying to find a job and I had heard you need to know the language so part of my thought it was very unlikely I could actually work in Tokyo. So a huge thanks to my internship company who were amazing. I learnt so much professionally and personally throughout the 2 months in Tokyo. Thanks to Beyond who were always there for every step of the process and made it such an incredible experience from start to finish. I would like to thank Krystal who stayed in touch and guided me through right from the very first admission call to apply up until when I sadly had to leave Japan and it was great to even meet Krystal and some of the team at a few of the events. Krystal mentored me through the process and gave me some great tips. Overall, the program has allowed me to fulfill one of my lifelong dreams and helped me build my confidence (and some great experience for my CV). I would love to do it all over again especially now I have perfected my mochi making. I fell in love with Japan!

I loved every second of my experience in London. I interned in a fashion company near Oxford Circus which is such a great location. I was able to work on several projects that allowed me to get great experience and insights into the industry. The Beyond team put so much effort into understanding my background and what I’m looking for, before matching me with my internship company and role. I couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity and everything worked out so well. I attended some of the networking events and met really interesting people that I am definitely going to stay in touch with. We had such a nice group of interns on the programme and had a lot of fun on all the events that Beyond arranged. I was really lucky that my programme finished just before COVID-19 became serious and I was able to get home safely. I can't wait to go back to London soon. I feel like I’ve grown a lot in a short term during this whole experience. I recently got a job offer from an amazing company and I’m pretty sure my London internship was a big reason why! Thank you very much for everything.

I loved my time living and working in London. I have always wanted to experience living there and I am so grateful for Beyond Academy making it such a special time. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I felt part of something special. The team at Beyond were so friendly and fun and made sure we were always making the most of the city. I particularly enjoyed the workshop and the career coaching session. It helped me get perspective and lay out plans for how I want to launch my career. Overall my internship was great, I just wish I could stay longer as I was starting to get involved in some really exciting projects. But I guess I was quite lucky as I missed the lockdown by only a few weeks. If you are considering an internship in London, do it and you will certainly not regret it!

I had the most amazing 6 weeks in London. I spend a lot of time visiting the UK (my dad is British) but never in London, what an awesome city. I am planning to go back and work there. Honestly couldn't ask for more from the Beyond team. I interned in a really cool marketing agency in the Soho area. While there were only 5 other interns on the program at the same time as me we all got on very well and had a great time exploring the city. The community manager was super fun. She arranged several events every week and went above and beyond to make sure we all felt settled and were having the best experience. I just wish I had more time. Totally recommend interning in London and esp with Beyond Academy!

My internship in Tokyo has been the best experience of my life so far and I thoroughly enjoyed every single moment. I graduated a few years back and after working 3 years in an accounting firm, I realised that was not for me and I was hoping to start a fresh chapter in my career. I was placed in a really cool tech start-up based in Shibuya. The internship was hard work and I definitely had a steep learning curve. Despite that it was only a 6-week placement, the company involved me in quite a few different projects and I’ve learnt so much. I’ve also made some fantastic contacts in the meetups that Beyond Academy arranged. The events kept me busy during my time in Tokyo and I honestly loved all of them! My highlight was definitely the trip to Mt Fuji. It was nice to get out of the city and take in the incredible nature Japan has to offer. I had such a great time living like a local, and have made some fantastic friends. Aya, our community manager, is literally the most amazing person - she went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. I’ve loved our little izakaya dinners every 2 weeks and I’m going to miss everyone so much :( Tokyo is the most magical place, if you are thinking of interning there do not hesitate. I’m already planning my next trip to Japan and would love to hopefully move over soon! Thank you so much Beyond - you guys have honestly changed my life!
