Dublin Internships with Beyond Academy

I loved being in Dublin and learning about the culture. We did many fun events and the coordinators were extremely helpful in answering questions about how to find things in the city, other activities to do, and any other questions we might have. My biggest complaint was towards the internship portion of things. I think that requiring someone to work 40 hours a week for free is a bit much unless the person needs to for their university requirements. Working without pay can be really tough mentally especially when your internship may not be exactly what you want as a career. You end up without energy after a full day of working and don't have energy left to explore the cities in the evenings. However, I did still make time to go see everything I wanted to see and I loved Dublin so much that I will be coming back to work as soon as my visa processes.

During my 2-month internship in Dublin, I had the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally. Everyone was welcoming and supportive. Dublin’s vibrant culture, rich history, and friendly locals made my stay enjoyable. I gained hands-on experience in my field and learned about workplace dynamics in an international context. The company provided valuable mentorship, helping me refine my skills while allowing me to contribute to meaningful projects. This experience not only boosted my career prospects but also broadened my cultural perspective, making it a truly enriching journey.

Had the best time, loved my program coordinator as well. The placement I received will look good on a resume and was a good experience, and i loved all the events that I went to with my group :) so fun!

I absolutely loved my Dublin summer internship through Beyond Academy! Beyond Academy made the daunting process of interning abroad easy and nearly stress-free. The program took care of all of the nitty-gritty work that needs to be done before moving abroad like searching for an internship and finding housing, and I was able to focus on my internship and on exploring the city!

I really enjoyed my time in Dublin! I absolutely loved the company I was working with and was able to gain many skills that contribute to my future business goals. I loved the community events planned by Beyond and really felt like I was able to experience all that Ireland has to offer. I would recommend this program to any student looking to gain international experience and feel supported in the process.

The 8 weeks I spent in Dublin were great! I did enjoy my time at my placement company, however I unfortunately was given the full opportunity to cover everything that was in my initial job scope. The culture and environment in the office though, was fantastic! I felt really welcomed in and was what made my experience in Dublin. I also thoroughly enjoyed all the activities planned, from pub visits, to trekking in the Irish mountains, to cultural nights. The great variety was appreciated and was always the highlight of my week. Overall it was a great experience!

I had an incredible 5 weeks as an intern in Dublin. The host company and Beyond staff were so kind and helpful during my stay. I gained a lot of valuable experience in my field of interest that will serve me well in the future.
