Kiskeya Aqua Ferme is an organic aquaculture farm in Petite Rivière, a commune in Haiti. Established in 2007, our 10-acre farm grows vegetables, fruits, and plantains as well as raises animals, including enhanced goat breeds. We run the Kiskeya Guest House, a solar powered and eco-friendly accommodation nestled amidst a peaceful and green setting. Here, guests immerse in Haitian culture while promoting local tourism. We also have Kiskeya Resto, a restaurant floating on our tilapia pond where some of our fresh dishes are sourced.
We boast in our use of organic methods when growing and producing food, ensuring the freshest and healthiest products - from vegetables to poultry. Our farm has a wide range of animals: geese, native chicken, Muscovy duck, quails, and pigs, among others. We also grow Moringa trees, processing the leaves into powder. Basically, Kiskeya Aqua Ferme contributes to sustainable economic development and food security in Haiti, especially in Léogâne. Our farm and community activities are joined by individuals who wish to practice their theoretical knowledge or simply lend a hand. We offer volunteering and gap year programs in areas like organic farming, community development, and English teaching.
