Spending a week at Kamalbe was one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed—not just as a student or volunteer, but as part of a community. The Spanish classes were personalized and fun, with amazing teachers who truly care about your progress. I learned more in a few days than I expected, and actually enjoyed studying (a miracle!). In the afternoons, I volunteered with local kids, and wow—what a beautiful, humbling experience. Their energy, curiosity, and joy reminded me why I came to Guatemala in the first place. But the real magic of Kamalbe is the connection—between people, languages, and cultures. I made friendships that I’ll carry with me forever.
