Elvira's Garden

The hosts Linda and Rae are helpful, fun, considerate and down to earth. Each day spent at Elvira's Garden was different and provided a solid insight into life in Grenada. I loved my time here and I am excited to come back again in the future. There are lots of ways to get involved outside of camp times. The facilities are excellent and I had plenty of time to explore the island. I arrived at Elvira's Garden without knowning anyone and I left with friends for life! Thanks!

Had a great time with Elvira's Garden!! Felt welcomed and part of the family from the beginning. They went out of their way to accomodate my goals, needs and adjusted the scheduling to accomodate all of the different cultural activities I wanted to attend!! Highly recommend this program!! A beautiful home stay and country!!

I volunteered at Elvira's Garden Easter Camp and would definitely recommend it! The staff did everything they could to give the children a great 2 weeks with lots of activites like dancing, swimming, crafts and excursions. All the staff and other volunteers were very welcoming, so I felt comfortable from the start. I also appreciated that my vegetarian diet was taken into consideration and that I could always choose a vegetarian alternative. All in all, it was a great time for me and I am glad to have been part of this wonderful project which is definitely a gift for the children in Grenada.
