I learned about Dolomit through my classmate Garrett, and I'm glad I decided to enroll with him at Dolomit. Everything about the trip was really smooth and well accommodated. I also loved Torbole, the town we were staying in. Outside of the classes, which were excellent, we got to do plenty of things like hiking, rock climbing, biking, visiting castles, wine tasting, and of course, eating the best Italian food I've ever had. Time spent between classes and outside activities was also very well balanced in my opinion. Overall, the best thing I have to say about this program is that all the people I've come across really care about what they're doing and put a lot of thought and effort into making it a great experience. Bottom line, I highly recommend Dolomit. The whole thing was an incredible experience.

This site is where I first learned about this summer program so I hope someone else will read this review and make the same decision that I did when choosing where to study abroad. The program hosted in Trentino is truly a unique experience. My first impressions of the coordinators, Juri and Manola, is that they wanted to go above and beyond to make sure the time I spent in Italy was amazing. As I got to know them over the course of the trip, those first impressions grew into the realization that I was part of something authentic. Our living arrangements on Lake Garda were fantastic and the owners of the hotel were incredibly hospitable. Due to the location of the program, my friends and I were exposed to both Italian and German culture and cuisine. From exploring vineyards to hiking in the Alps (my personal favorite excursion), this trip was fantastic. If you find yourself comparing this program to another, trust me when I say that the opportunities you will have available to you in Trentino will not disappoint. Beautiful scenery, great food and genuine people are just a few of the reasons this trip was so wonderful. I could go on and on about why I would recommend Dolomit but the best advice I could possibly give is this: contact Juri and Manola and see for yourself why this program is beyond compare.
