My experience abroad was something I will always be grateful for. The internship gave me valuable professional experience and allowed me to learn what it is like to work in a different country and culture. I was able to gain hands-on experience in both warehouse and office environments, which helped me better understand logistics and supply chain operations. One of my favorite parts of the program was the weekend trips around Portugal. Getting to explore different cities and places with the other students made the experience even more memorable. The people I met through the program were one of the biggest highlights, and many of them have become lifelong friends. Overall, this experience pushed me outside of my comfort zone, helped me become more independent, and gave me memories and relationships that I will carry with me long after the internship ended. This past summer I had the ultimate privilege of going abroad for a Marketing and Business Development Intern in Lisbon, Portugal. To say I had the one of the best summers of my life is an understatement, working in a city as beautiful and vibrant as Portugal was a such a rewarding experience both professionally and personally.

My experience with Absolute Internship in Barcelona was truly unforgettable. I absolutely fell in love with Spain, from the culture and people to the lifestyle and beautiful city of Barcelona. Having Barcelona as my home base made the experience feel like I was truly living abroad rather than just visiting. I had a favorite supermarket where they knew and recognized me, and we would smile and wave everytime I passed by, a favorite pizza place, etc. Being able to go on weekend trips to other countries and come back to a home was amazing, rather than moving from hotel to hotel for 2 months. The public transportation made it so easy to explore the city and travel to other places throughout Barcelona, and we got a metro card so we didn't have to pay every time we wanted to move around. One of my favorite parts of the program was the people I met. I made some of my best friends through Absolute, and the memories we had are something I will never forget. I also loved my host company and coworkers, who made me feel welcomed, supported, and excited to go to work each day. The program coordinators were incredibly helpful and made the entire experience feel comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I also made friends who are locals, and I'm planning to go back and visit them.

This 2 month experience I just got was genuinely the best decision I have made while in college so far. It completely changed my perspective on how it is to live in Southeast Asia, and I believe that with the right opportunity, I would live in Singapore for a couple of years. I lived my host company and the culture they have. The best part of the program was all of the new relationships I was able to build, and the weekend trips we took helped a lot with that. I was honestly sadder to leave Singapore more than I was excited to get back to the United States.

I was in Paris with Absolute summer 2026. I found the program coordinators super attentive and helpful. I watched them jump in when other students were sick or upset or having logistical issues with traveling. The housing was fine, clean and safe but a little small with very little storage. There were several opportunities to go on weekend or day trips and explore the city with coordinators. The internships I heard about and that I had were fine, no one had a terrible experience. But you definitely will be working full time, it’s very rare to get a day off outside of weekends.

My time in Seoul was extremely memorable, from the people I met, to the adventures I had, it was quite literally the most exciting time of my life. The program had a lot of weekend trips, and opportunities to interact with the other interns, and chances to explore, so I really appreciated being able to see South Korea the way I was able to. From initially not knowing anyone in the program, to being able to recognize everyone by name, my time in Korea was not wasted !

Completing an internship through Absolute Internship was an amazing experience! Not only did I get to go to a bakery and see the Eiffel Tower every day, but I got to experience Paris in a way that I would not have been able to do by myself. Being able to truly experience Paris by being a member of the working society, taking my daily commutes, and hanging out in "local" spots was unmatched. As a student at San Diego State University, I had an incredible experience with Absolute Internship. Pickled Herring. I had it at Midsommar in VasaParken as one of my PC's gave it to me. I thought it tasted really weird at first but turns out it is ok to put on bread as well. Pros Mueseums (Vasa, Viking , Skansen) Experience a new culture and perspective FIKA Culture is Amazing. You will get used to plenty of pastries and coffee during breaks. Cons Stockholm is a Very Expensive City (one of the most in Europe). Many costs such as Dining Out can be very costly, as this is an unpaid intersnhip. Highly reccomended for students to budget wisely and use cheaper options such as ICA (grcoery store chain. Transportation Delays on the T Bahn some days but this was not notified of me by my PC's ahead of time. Housing was fine, as I had a clean room but we did not have a dishwasher and coffee machine. The laundry machines was ok but one of our dryers was broken and they didn't fix it for weeks.

The time I spent living and working this summer in Korea changed my outlook on my studies and what I want to do after graduating. It gave me the context I needed for the work I enjoy and how I want to spend my time wherever I end up living! My program assistants were super helpful in navigating Seoul, and helped me and my friends with finding pharmacies and medical services when we needed them. Overall, I had a great time, and appreciate the support in my experience abroad!

My six-week internship in Barcelona with Absolute Internship was a life changing experience. Traveling alone was very scary, however, the team at Absolute Internship supported me through the entire process and made my London internship experience one that I wish I could re-live over and over.

I signed up for an internship in a non-profit industry. Absolute Internship helped me arrange an interview with the company. They also gave us a lot of information and reminders before going to Lisbon. During the internship, Absolute Internship arranged nice accommodation and fun weekend activities for us. For example, we lived in single rooms with AC and the furniture in the room is clean and cozy. The program staff are friendly and supportive. They answered our questions throughout the program and arranged activities well. For example, we had a boat trip during Lagos trip and had meals in nice restaurants.

My experience in Lisbon was deeply meaningful because of the cultural immersion, the diversity of engagement, and the chance to strengthen my Portuguese language skills. Working alongside people from different backgrounds showed me how powerful unity and service can be. We were all part of something bigger, doing meaningful work for a kinder world built on compassion, dignity, and love.

I absolutely loved everything Absolute Internship had to offer. I met some amazing people, loved my roommate, and had the opportunity to travel to Bordeaux, Giverny, Normandy, and several other destinations through organized day trips. The program was very well organized, while still giving us plenty of free time to explore the city and travel independently. I had a great experience at my internship, learned a lot, and gained valuable insight into working in a different country and culture. Culture shock is definitely real and can sometimes be noticeable in the workplace, so I would recommend researching the country and its work culture before choosing your destination. However, all of the Program Coordinators were incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful throughout the experience. I also loved having the opportunity to participate as an Absolute Creator and share content from my time abroad. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, and I am so grateful for all of the memories, friendships, and professional growth it gave me!

Absolute Internship was such a great experience, I cannot recommend it enough! I spent 4 weeks in Stockholm, Sweden in June 2026 and wish I had stayed longer! The programme was so well organised with orientation, making me feel really comfortable in the country before I started work. They sorted everything from accommodation to metro cards and the programme coordinators were available 24/7 over text whenever you had a question. I loved my time in Sweden so much and I wish I could go back!

My first experience was to Skopje,North Macedonia.I stayed there for 5 days alone and it was super exciting for me.I always went somewhere without navigation apps etc. made myself lost and also found my way alone.Small city,but big experience for me.

Taking part in an overseas internship in Barcelona was completely out of my comfort zone, but in the best way possible. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my degree and gave me so much more than just professional experience. My placement at Bach Legal was the highlight. The office environment was welcoming and much less formal than I expected, which made it easy to ask questions and learn. I gained practical legal skills while also building confidence in taking on new challenges and asking for help when needed. Absolute Internship made the whole process straightforward. From pre-departure check-ins to ongoing support throughout the program, I always felt looked after. They organised accommodation, provided a clear schedule of activities, and kept everyone updated, making the transition to living overseas much less stressful. Stockholm is a beautiful place to spend the summer, and I've experienced a multitude of personal and professional development, both in and out of the workplace. The convenience was unbelievable, and it was possible to get to most places in Singapore from the residence without stepping outside. The internship itself was so rewarding and developmental. Got placed at a horrible company at first but within a week was placed at a different company after telling the program coordinator what was going on. Extremely professional and understanding staff! The weekend trips and other events organised with the other interns are all extremely helpful in getting comfortable in your program location and it’s super easy to make friends! During my summer internship in Shanghai with Absolute Internship, I had the opportunity to work at Knudsen & CRC, a consulting firm helping international brands grow in the Chinese market. My main project focused on launching a cruelty-free cosmetics campaign, where I designed a 24-question consumer survey, conducted 88 street interviews, and analyzed insights to guide our strategy. I also collaborated on cross-cultural projects, such as Halal certification research and market behavior analysis on Douyin and Little Red Book. This experience not only strengthened my ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment but also gave me real-world exposure to market research, campaign strategy, and client presentation development. Living and working in Shanghai pushed me outside my comfort zone, taught me how to adapt quickly, and allowed me to build meaningful professional and cultural connections.

Sure, I could have found an internship, housing, and figured out the visa process all by myself, but I would have been far too stressed, and the experience would have been tainted. Absolute internship was a great experience. There were initial stresses with the internship aspect since I didn't get placed until the day I arrived in Tokyo, but I ended up meeting some incredible people and learning lots of new skills at work. Additionally, the staff at Absolute who were with us (program coordinators) in Tokyo were such lovely people. They were able to be reached very quickly and were very organized during planned trips with all the students. Furthermore, their friendly demeanor eased the nerves of going to a foreign country! The most memorable moments were the unplanned, spontaneous trips and memories made outside of work with other students. The group I came in with are some of my favorite people, and I still am in contact with them today! Highly recommend!

I am a 23-year-old chef who lives in Turkey and has just graduated from university. Thanks to Erasmus+ projects, I have done volunteering projects in Vienna, Austria and Hamburg, Germany. I have been to Copenhagen, Denmark, Vienna, Austria, Hamburg, Luneburg, Germany and Otopeni, Romania. As an energetic, dynamic and curious young person who is curious about learning things, I worked in three different hotel kitchens and restaurants in Turkey before going to different parts of the world and practicing my profession with new cultures. I think that this experience will improve me a lot. I really want to have this experience, where I am sure that I will learn a lot about the world, new cultures and myself.

I was super nervous coming into this as I had never done anything like it before, but the Absolute team made it easy and seamless. There was always something to do- whether it was a group dinner or a weekend trip, I was never bored. We had plenty of freedom to plan our own trips as well and I was able to make extremely valuable memories. I will never forget this experience and highly recommend!

The internship experience was amazing and everyone was so supportive. My time in Portugal was fun and nerve wrecking. However, I miss it so much and would love to do it again. It made me very independent and helped gain expertise in a working environment. During my year 3 summer, I have had a chance to go for an international internship organized by Absolute Internship. It was the best summer I have ever had. As a student with engineering background, I was interning in a structural consultancy. Since it is the first time for me to work in engineering industry, I have understanded what’s the main tasks in an engineering consultancy. During the internship, I was assigned with different tasks including structural calculation, design with software and modelling. Doing an internship with Absolute Internship this summer is the best decision I have made for my personal and professional development! I spent a month in Barcelona as a marketing intern where I was able to spend time in industry and meet amazing people from across the globe. I heard about Absolute through a Global Opportunities session at my university. I first explored a few different companies but from the start the team at Absolute Internships was engaged and happy to answer my questions. They helped me find an amazing company to work with and helped me get ready for the trip through briefing sessions. There was a period of quiet in between being placed and gearing up to start, but it was good to know I could reach out with questions if I had any. After landing in Barcelona and meeting the Program Coordinators I felt comfortable. It was scary to travel on my own but the transport to our accommodation was a great way to meet my fellow interns. We had a nice meal to get to know each other and a city-wide scavenger hunt in teams helped introduce us to the city at large. Our program coordinators were on hand if we had any questions, which was very reassuring. The accomodation was lovely with great facilities on site and nearby. Being able to go for a swim in the pool after working remote was very refreshing! My internship company was a perfect match for what I wanted to gain experience in. Being able to create content to a brief and have constructive feedback at every stage really helped me feel more confident. I quickly was able to get involved in the brand and am proud of the work I delivered. Putting theory into practice has made my third year at university much more productive as I can better understand key concepts. I could not recommend this experience enough to anyone who is interested in travelling and gaining experience in their field! The company and the people was the best thing about my experience I met so many amazing people in Japan and created such special bonds with everyone! I could not begin to describe how rewarding the whole experience was. As a Computer Science student at "Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education" I worked at "Irvine Systems" company in Tokyo from August 2024 to Decemeber 2024 I found this opportunity through the internship agency "Absolute", it was so much fun, I learned a lot of things, developed new skills, grew as a person, and made many great friendships while I was there. So many memories that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Japan has such a unique and authentic culture and getting to experience it was amazing!

Interning and living in Singapore this past summer was incredible! My internship at a private equity firm, which focused on education investments, has enabled me to gain hands-on experience through analyzing potential deals, interviewing company founders, helping with financial modeling, and reviewing company documents including investment memorandums and short diligence reports. As part of the deals team, I had great mentorship and learning opportunities where I received support from my coworkers, especially my supervisor. On the weekends, I enjoyed exploring Singapore with friends and visiting attractions such as the Botanical Gardens, Peranakan Houses, and Universal Studios. I also tried a wide variety of delicious and affordable cuisine, from local staples such as nasi lemak at hawker centres to cakes at nearby cafes. I'm so glad I had this opportunity to have international work experience in emerging markets while immersed in the culture of Singapore.

The beginning of my journey abroad was filled with adjustments. Entering new environments had its fair share of challenges. Navigating how to allocate time for myself, enjoying the company of new friends and settling into my internship all required a balance to be struck. During my one month internship in Barcelona, I met amazing people, friends for life !! I was scared of not finding friends to have fun with, doing all of the activities… but it was quickly resolved ! I found amazing friends, we’re still in contacts every day even though we don’t live in the same country … Also if you’re scared because of the language don’t be ! I was the only French person in the program and everything went perfectly. You get to talk about the different cultures, mentalities…. It is actually really fun and plus you get to improve your English (and learn American or British slang ;)). You can meet people from the entire world : Mexico, London, India, Italy, United States.. and we’re all here to have an amazing experience, and make the most of it !!

I really enjoyed doing this remote internship. It was interesting to be working with people from another country and see how they managed their business. I had an amazing summer thanks to Absolute Internship, who organized my fintech internship at Pand.ai in Singapore. From the start, they made the whole process super easy and stress-free. I was dreaming about going to South Korea for a while now, but it seemed very out of reach. I found about Absolute Internship at the abroad opportunities fair at my univeristy and i am extremely happy about it! They helped with EVERYTHING! They looked for the company and helped with CV preparation and interviews. They answered all the questions and replied in a timely manner. A huge plus was that they found a place to stay (modern apartament in central Seoul with just a perfect location!). Also the transportation cards were included, which was super helpful as well. There were trips and activities when you arrrive and there are people from Absolute the city making sure everything works fine for you, who you can easily reach out to for the support. The program gives you this feeling of independence, because you are there working on your own, at the same time there are other interns that you meet and do stuff together as well, which helps you create that feeling of belongingness. Why 4 not 5 stars? The internship is kinda pricey, if your university does not fully sponsor you. I know that it costs a lot to hire everyone to help with the process but still ;) Also keep in mind that options can be very scarce in the industry of your choice if you don’t know the local language. Nevertheless it is worth it to try and go intern abroad!

I was absolutely glad that I was able to travel to South Korea to do my internship! I loved my host company. I was able to learn about the marketing field in Korea and was able to visit many places while in the program. When I first heard about this program, I was thrilled to check it out. I was already spending a semester abroad and the thought of adding to that experience with an internship was something I couldn't pass up. I had the best time in London and our program coordinators did a fantastic job planning many different activities. My internship also gave me really good experience. Overall the trip was so fun and I made so many great memories.

This past summer, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in an internship program in Barcelona that truly changed my life. After 8 years of dreaming, I finally realized my goal of having an international experience. Living on a university campus in Barcelona allowed me to meet people from all over the world and practice both Spanish and English. I chose Barcelona to improve my Spanish, and while the internship was in English, which was great for practice, speaking and using Spanish daily was an incredible opportunity. I visited six new cities and towns, including Barcelona, L’Estartit, and Carcassonne during the program trips. Afterward, I spent an additional week in Spain, exploring Madrid, Toledo, and Segovia. Barcelona has now become one of my favorite places. This program also introduced me to people from around the world. I enjoyed comparing our cultures, discovering our commonalities, and celebrating our differences. I experienced a bit of Spanish culture and glimpses of many others. This was my first internship, and I applied my marketing skills while observing the organizational culture of a Barcelona startup. Additionally, as an Absolute Creator, I produced content for social media, including videos and photos. I made lasting global connections during my internship and with the program coordinators and fellow students, who I now proudly call friends. The smooth process of finding an internship, the amazing location, amazing staff to lead us in the new setting, and literally everything in Korea. Providing us with transportation cards and calculating the costs to travel to work was a huge plus. The small programs that are a part as a package to explore broader parts of Seoul were also very beneficial and amazing opportunities. After applying to hundreds of internships over 8 months during my high credit load semesters, I was starting to lose hope that I would find an internship for this summer. I haven’t had any previous industry experience, so I was feeling pretty unlucky during my job search. One of my friends recommended Absolute internships to me, and after reaching out to them, I had a position within five days (interviewed, contracts signed, the whole nine)! Madrid was such a great place to study. Madrid is very big so there's a lot of different things to do. From parks, great food, people, fun clubs, and things to see. I had my own room with a gym in the basement, so I really coudnt have asked for better housing. I also was able to travel around Spain alot, for fairly cheap. Overall unforgettable trip The places I would recommend are Tiki Taco, the Reina Sofía, El Retiro Park, a tour of Real Madrid stadium, Wow Hall, Icon, El Capital, Divorare sandwiches, any rooftop bar, brutal bar, and Tierra Burrito Bar. Also Zara, has such good prices and catalogs. 10x better than American Zaras

The whole placement process was very stressful sincr the provider had many problems finding the right company for me, but in the end it was such a great experience. Madrid is a beautiful city, full of history and art but fun at the sime time.

Absolute Internship Review Going into my junior year of college, I knew I wanted to do something different with my summer. I started looking for abroad programs and will forever be thankful that I found Absolute Internship! As an Entertainment Media major with a certificate in Music Business, I was hesitant than I could find industry experience in a different country by myself - that's when the Absolute Internship placement service proved to be an amazing investment in my future. After signing up for the 4-week program, I was expertly put in contact with the record label Blanco y Negro in Barcelona, Spain. Everyone in the program and in the office welcomed us with open arms and made Barcelona feel like home. It also helped that all Absolute Internship participants live together in a very nice student housing center near the Sagrada Familia. My friends and I traveled to Amsterdam, Mallorca, and Costa Brava on the weekends and experienced Spanish culture after work with tapas dinners, wine tours, Flamenco shows, concerts, and trips to the beach. Not only did the program provide lifelong memories with lifelong friends, but it gave me the confidence to tackle a professional environment. If I can do it in Spain, the U.S. is no big deal! Finally, having industry experience on my resume has opened so many doors for me and has proven to be insanely advantageous to my career. In fact, I'm writing this review from my summer job at a label in Nashville, Tennessee.

I had an amazing experience. Professionally, I learned a lot of how my field actually works in real life. My team was extremely supportive and friendly despite the language boundary. Absolute Internship did a great job at incorporating cultural events. They definitely should plan the "field trips and day trips" better; however, I understand it was their first program in that country and mistakes happen. Nonetheless, Aurore Dumesnil was supportive, genuinely tried to help in any way she could, and made sure everyone felt included. Any doubts or uncertainties I had, I knew I could go to her for guidance. She also went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed the cultural events and create friendships within our program.

During my internship with Flavors of Paris, I took on various projects to enhance the company's outreach and operations. This included reaching out to partners to inform them about their inclusion in our product, collaborating on creating QR-coded cards to boost reviews and site reach, managing email marketing campaigns for subscriber engagement, assisting in invoicing with my boss Lisa, and providing hardware solutions. These experiences allowed me to develop a range of new skills that proved valuable in both the internship and my own business endeavors.

I completed the Seoul 2023 Programme with Absolute in June. Now that I'm finishing my period abroad studying, I absolutely cannot recommend Absolute Internship enough. The team at Absolute equip you with so much to get you started both at the work placement and in the country you travel to itself, and that is something I wish I had on study abroad. Back in Seoul, I managed to make some amazing friends in the programme and in the workplace, as well as try all the food I possibly could (which I cannot recommend more). I got to experience traditional work culture within a Korean company, and go on amazing trips outside of Seoul as well. The possibilities really are endless with Absolute and the support the team give you both before and during your time there is amazing. I cannot put into words how beneficial with programme was to me and I hope others are able to experience it for themselves.

Going to Paris for an internship was the most magical thing I’ve experienced. It taught me more growth than I’ve ever been able to achieve in such a short period of time, and all that growth happened naturally. I learned true independence. I learned how to feel real freedom and make choices for myself. I got to adventure every place I wanted to go, and it was so easy! I learned so much! If I could go back and relive it a thousand times, I 100% would!!!

From the application process to our time in Lisbon, the Absolute staff was extremely helpful and supportive. One unique aspect that stood out to me about this program was how focused and personalized the internship placement process is to your career interests. The housing, trips, and program activities are extremely well-planned. Some of the things I did in Lisbon included a pastel de nata baking class, a fado show, and a Portuguese play. Our trips included going to Sintra, Porto, Cascais, and Ericeira. Lastly, my program coordinator (shout out to Marta) was beyond dedicated to showing us Portugal. My 2 months wouldn't have been the same without her!

Interning with Absolute was an investment that I did not expect to have such a big impact on me. It was my first solo endeavor abroad, living in my own terms, and working for a company full-time. The housing staff were amazing and I was able to get to know the city via locals on full 3 hour chats at the front desk. The Absolute Internship team were incredibly helpful from the start; since our first meeting to know more of my area to my positioning in a company, the job interview and on-site, the care the team shows to you in hopes of you having a wonderful experience is immense. Working on-site with the film production company was also amazing, getting to see their processes first hand and being involved in recordings, post-production and even having lunch with the co-workers. Living in Madrid was also incredible, it’s a vibrant and safe city in which you are able to explore many great historic places, eateries and meet great people. This program also allowed me to further enrich my résumé, also being able to meet my co-workers after the program ended back in my hometown to attend a film festival and getting to meet new film directors afterwards. It’s an investment that keeps on giving, as long as you just say ‘yes’ and take the plunge.

My internship in Tokyo was an amazing opportunity. I got to experience so many things that I wouldn't have been able to if I had just visited on my own, and I got to experience them with a group of people from all over the world! My program activities were much more in depth than I could have ever imagined (we even stayed at a fancy hotel with a spa, all included in the price)! I was so impressed by the housing as well, and it felt like an apartment for the summer with everyone in the program. My internship itself was a great experience, and they even hired me on to work as a paid intern remotely for the year. It was a bit tough finding one that worked out for my preferences in the beginning, but the Absolute staff was very accommodating and got me the in-person position that I was wanting. I highly recommend, Japan was incredible!

If you have the opportunity to do an internship abroad, do it. I loved exploring the city with new friends and gaining experience in the industry at the same time. I think a summer internship was the best option for me. The housing was incredible and in a perfect area for moving around the city. The city was safe and had a lot of things to do. The activities helped me to meet other students and make new friends. The company I worked for was good and the people were friendly and kind to me, I felt at home all the time.

My experience at absolute internship was amazing. From the people I met to the area I worked in I enjoyed it so much. Even though I knew little to no Spanish- which was not a concern as you don’t need to know the local language to take part in the programme- I still managed to get around the city and communicate with the other interns and workers at my law placement. If I could rate my experience out of 10 it wouldn’t be enough as I enjoyed it so much and I am very tempted to enrol in a different city

The experience with the help of absolute internship was very helpful to build my career and boost my academic success. It all started when I wanted an international internship, I found absolute contacted them and waited. Afterwards, I ended having 4 week internship in my favorite industry Supply Chain. Got to see and discover new cultures, technology and life style. Also, the housing was in the center close to everything, which I loved the most. While I was in remote work, Starbucks was in the same floor building, where I could sit comfortably and work in a cozy environment. I missed those days already! Wish you will have a similar experience.

I spent a summer in Paris through Absolute Internship and it checked all the boxes: fantastic accommodation, the ability to fully immerse, social/logistical support whenever necessary, an insightful work experience, etc. I went into the summer with the primary goal of a summer that would allow me to independently explore the city, and Absolute's ability to balance structured programming with the independence of its students was perfect the entire time. The Program Coordinators were also amazing and made the experience what it was with not only their program support but their energetic mentorship and friendship.

I applied for the programme in barcelona and I did my internship in a company working in the luxury event management. This program was whole new experience for me, despite being the only lebanese of the group i never felt out of place and alone. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and unique in their own way. I made friends for life and learned quite a lot from this time in paris. From work responsibilities to navigating through the city to making memories with people from all around the world, this internship was my first step out of my home country and my first step out of my comfort zone. The city of paris is unforgettable and the fun always makes me want to go back. I truly believe that without absolute internship I wouldn’t have had the same experience and choice of internship in one of the best legal office for arbitration. Our program coordinator managed to be a support system for all of us at the same time and always making sure we were safe, learning and exploring. Working international is a valuable experience for anyone. Here's why my experience was extraordinary: With a perfect match with the internship company, I had set sails to a successful internship. The only downside on this was, that I found this match 4 Days before flying out to Stockholm, which made me very nervous. Special thanks here to the staff, who managed to calm me down multiple times. Arriving in Stockholm, we got a helpful and informative introduction to the city and the internship from an on-site program manager. Floorball is a sport very popular in the northern countries of Europe. As a player, it was a great honour and experience to play with a local team during my stay. This wasn't set up by Absolute Internship, but I would recommend you, to try and find a club of your sport to see how it's played in another country. A big stress killer was the knowledge of having support from the Absolute Internship staff, even when they weren't on site any more. They checked in with us regularly and helped with problems with the company, accommodation and gave great tips for free time activities. For me, the 2 career workshops, weren't helpful and more time-consuming, than a learning experience. If it is worth the investment of the money: I can't say. For me, the University paid, but I do think that it is worth it. Last but not least, I want to say that the bondage, you'll create with the other students in the program are very interesting, since you wouldn't meet such people any other way.

I flew out to Singapore and it was an incredible experience. My workplace was fulfilling and my boss was very kind. I met lots of other students on the same program, and absolute arranged lots of activities for us, including orientation to get to know the city and each other. The 2 absolute internship representatives were very kind and helpful. I also got to visit other Asian countries as well, including South Korea Vietnam Indonesia Cambodia Malaysia and Thailand. It was overall an incredible experience which I would love to do all over again

Had an amazing experience during my summer abroad in Lisbon! My internship was super fun and I learned a lot in a field I did not have much prior experience in. I made great friends that I still keep in touch with and got to explore many different parts of Portugal. Though there were some minor program issues, I still had a wonderful time that I'll never forget.

Going all the way to Sweden for an internship is really freaky. I don't travel much, especially that far. I didn't know how to prepare, what I should and shouldn't do, etc... However, the people at Absolute do know about how to guide you through these places and aren't unfamiliar with unfamiliarity. Although they could be a bit more proactive in reaching out to you to help along the way and while on the trip, they are very friendly and personable people that want to make sure you're comfortable. Make sure you ask them a lot of questions if you're nervous because they'll help you out or direct you to where you can get help. It was a very flexible experience with them, which I'd normally not expect considering the scale of what they do. They try to make sure you have a nice place to stay and fun stuff to do while abroad. They're a great avenue for exploration if you've been meaning to venture out of your comfort zone.

I have held this internship particularly close to my heart as the people there are very accepting and wish for me to get the most out of it. They were willing and able to place various tasks on my plate and allowed me to earn significant exposure to the inner operations here at Hostini. As I was assigned these responsibilities, one stuck out to me as it was particularly fulfilling. I was able to expand my leadership skills dramatically through my time in Stockholm. Although I did enjoy each corporate project, I found myself learning in corners never expected. Handling the company’s financials was not something I had expected out of this internship, but I enjoyed every second of this responsibility. It was a great feeling to confirm my love for math and numbers and have them applied in a real-life setting. I plan to take these skills back with me and hopefully apply them to a job in the fall around Athens while completing my senior year. As this was a very developing experience in my life, I would recommend it to all. Coming in with an open mind and room to grow were two things that assisted my success.

Singapore was an amazing experience. My favorite part was getting to travel to other countries on the weekends. I think placement could have been a bit better. I enjoyed the people I worked with, but I did not enjoy the work I was doing. I think a lot of us struggled with that. The communication before the trip wasn't very effective either. I was called the wrong name, wasn't told when to book my flight, and wouldn't receive responses via email for weeks. All of the activities we did in Singapore were fantastic though. I really enjoyed it, and it was an overall great experience.

Through my internship, I gained professional experience in the wedding planning industry which has been transformative for my career trajectory. It provided me with a solid foundation of practical skills and industry knowledge that I can now confidently apply in any professional setting. It was also so much fun getting to live with all of the interns, make lifelong friends, and explore all of the amazing things Barcelona has to offer! I loved all of the weekend trips, day trips and cultural opportunities that Absolute provided.

I decided to study abroad during the winter quarter of my senior year of college. I initially wanted to take courses at a university in Spain, but a friend of mine recommended I looked into an internship. That’s when I found Absolute and the amazing team that runs it. I was able to gain crazy experience at a tech startup, made life long friends (who I’m flying to NYC to see for the 3rd time since the internship), and had super fun activities that were planned by absolute. Having an internship experience in Lisbon Portugal was by far the best experience of my life. This summer in Singapore was the best experience. I’ve met so many new people and I met my best friend there. Also Singapore is a very good city to live in. It is very safe und clean. The city is so beautiful and divers. The accommodation is beautiful and in the center of the city. The club is only a ten minute walk away. The food is so great and cheap. You can get for 7 SGD Michelin star soup dumplings. I learned how other Company’s work and what are the differences in the working cultures. If you have the chance to go to Singapore, then do it. You will not regret it.

The programme was amazing in every respect. The internship itself gave me lots of insights through having many tasks given to complete over the two months such as social media, blog posts, new website content, emailing clients and providers, creating Canva presentations for clients - I even got to go in a hot air balloon as part of the job. With organised activities through Absolute Internship, we were always doing something, from weekend trips to Montpellier and Valencia, to day trips to a water park and Costa Brava, it was a fun-packed adventure. Loads of food to try like Paella, Churros, and Crema Catalana! Barcelona is a safe city with loads to do and explore. Take every opportunity!

I was initially a bit skeptic about the experience as I was looking for a software development company, while naas.ai is more data analysis oriented. I was proven wrong, the experience at naas.ai was exactly what I need to create a clear picture of my job path and what I want to pursue. The people in my internship were absolutely amazing! I'm so grateful for the friendships I've made there. They made traveling solo all that much better! My internship was really amazing, and I got to learn so much from the lawyers in my company. My only regret is not staying longer than 4 weeks. I enjoyed a lot my time in the internship, it was a great experience. I was in an online internship in Canada. My field is finance, and in the company I got to work a lot related to that, so it was great that I got to learn more about finance. I have been working for 8 weeks as intern at OUTER Spain in Madrid, Spain. Under the guidance of my awesome boss Pilar, I had the opportunity to learn more about Communication and Marketing. We have been woking together for the World Corporate Golf Challenge, which is one the most established global B2B golf tournament in the world, open to top level executives who are passionated about golf. I have been given my contribution as for editing texts, preparing and sending interviews for the 2022 Final Magazine. I successfully achieved my internship’s goals in terms of planning and implementing the company’s social media strategy in order to increase awareness in light of the 2022 World Final. During those weeks I have been constantly working alongside copywriters and designers to ensure content was informative and appealing. Additionally, I have been learning how to analyse current social media trends and provide constructive feedbacks both qualitatively and quantitatively. A huge thank you goes to OUTER Spain, my boss Pilar de la Puente and the rest of the Communication&Marketing department for the internship opportunity and for teaching me about communication and marketing practises over the summer. Some points that need improved for the future is more through and frequent communication through the placement process and clearer communication about accommodation conditions/expectations. Having experience on your CV is something that nearly every employer is looking forward when a graduate comes out of uni, but having a year off in between the years at uni for me wasn’t as easy or accessible to do. I decided I needed to get some experience this summer and I knew I wanted to do something aboard! Funnily enough I discovered the Absolute internship program via TiKTok and then proceeded to do the research and apply. I got an interview very quickly that suited me perfectly. Once accepted I told the team what I was looking for in an internship and that’s exactly what I got. I got all the help and information I needed to prepare for interviews with potential host internships. I choose to go to Lisbon this summer for a month and I’m very glad I did. This was probably one of the best summers I have ever had. Not only was my internship interesting and given me ideas in the future about what I would and wouldn’t like to do, but the friends and memories I made out there will last a life time. This is a perfect way to do an internship if you love to travel and make new friends.

I was at first hesitant about joining a summer internship program with people i’ve never met before. I thought that the first couple of days would be awkward and would be lonely. But from the second I met my program colleagues at the airport is when I felt relaxed, at that moment I knew this was going to be an unforgettable experience. Overall, I am very satisfied with everything that this program offered: the residence housing, the internship opportunity, the friends we met along the way, the front desk people at the residence, our program coordinators, and the “prison” food that we always miss when we’re away in the weekends. I have achieved so much in a span of two months, even though the company I was working for was a startup under construction, I was working under full autonomy and on my own pace. I managed to create flyers from scratch that have now been printed and shared around the most important hotels in the city center! I also enjoyed learning the different cultures in the program and Spanish culture as a whole!

I definitely learned more than I could've thought possible in a mere two months, and I have so many fond memories and friendships to last a lifetime. I worked with a company named Boloberry, they are a 3D printers manufacturer. I was in charge of the expansion to México. I was able to participate in a networking reunion where I exposed the company to over 40 other companies. I improved a lot my communication skills.

While interning in Barcelona I met my best friends, gained international experience, had the adventures of a lifetime, and received a full-time job offer after returning back to the states. I was hoping to actually go abroad and experience the city as well as make connections but sadly the pandemic didn’t allow for that. Regardless I am really glad I participated, my work felt meaningful and the skills it provided me with will be extremely helpful for the future.

With the uncertainty of COVID, I could have never imagined traveling around the world to Barcelona, Spain. But, despite the constant changes in rules and regulations, I was able to travel to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I will be eternally grateful for being able to partake in the incredible experience of interning in Barcelona while also being safe during the 8 wonderful weeks I was there. It was the perfect combination of professional experience in an engineering company and adventures through Spain with amazing people I met through Absolute. The company I was placed in was so kind and helpful; they made sure I had all the tools I needed to succeed and provided an opportunity for me to go beyond a classroom setting-utilizing everything I had learned for the past 4 years in college. While I was only an intern, I was trusted to work on two big projects-hands on experience with a robot-and actually be a part of the team! Working abroad also allowed me an experience not many people have in their professional careers; I truly believe this is extremely beneficial in exposing yourself to different ways the world works and allows you to learn how to adapt to your surroundings. Along with this boost in experience and another thing to add to my resume, I met many amazing individuals: those also interning abroad, members of the Absolute team, and local residents of Spain. I was able to see astonishing sights like Park Güell and Montjuïc Castle; traveling outside of Barcelona on weekend trips to other parts of Spain (organized by Absolute); experience daily beach trips, delicious food, and cross off my top bucket list item-swim with sharks. I truly enjoyed my remote internship and placement by the Absolute Internship team and was always navigated in the right direction. Despite it being remote, I gained so much knowledge not only on the company but the cultural and social factors of the company and how business is done in that country vs my home.

I had always wanted to work for a Japanese company, and considered doing an internship in Japan. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic this seemed unlikely however. When I learned about Absolute Internship through my Uni I decided to try out a Remote Internship instead. The company I got matched with is very interesting and my coordinator there has made sure that there is a good work balance between what the company needs and what I want to get out of the internship. I highly recommend going for a remote internship!

While Absolute was international to me as they were located in Spain while I was in Canada in Eastern Standard Time, I never had any trouble getting hold of them. Their online platform was very comprehensive and helpful and I enjoyed browsing through the videos and attending the workshops and events in real time even if online. However, it ended up being on of the best work experiences I've had to date. There are frequent check-ins throughout the internship as well. Between your host company and the Absolute advisors, you'll have much support. Though this internship was online, I was still able to create cultural experiences and learn about the host company and country. Absolute managed to make the experience incredibly fulfilling and fun, despite the restrictions.

Last Friday marked the final day of my internship at Summer Atlantic Capital, an investment institution based on global resources and asset investment. Although I had to do the internship remotely from Singapore while my internship company is in Beijing, China, the 3 months internship was definitely an eye-opening and fulfilling one. As a Summer Analyst, I had the opportunity to work on various tasks such as: - Work on cross-border transactions and communicate with several high-tech US firms to assist their incorporation and investment in China - Perform independent investment / market research on areas such as Automotive Industry, IoT, Medical Devices etc. - Prepared investment agreements, due diligence reports, project feasibility study reports etc. - Assess the risk of different markets and transactions based on valuation, analysis, and meetings with the management team - Work on marketing plans on LinkedIn and WeChat I will not forget this experience and I cannot wait to apply what I have learnt in my future career. It was so helpful to have a third party supporting me throughout my internship.

I was happy with my Absolute Internship placement that I just finished about a week ago. I'm glad it worked out as I only had one interview and got matched with the first company I spoke to. Due to COVID-19, my internship was remote, but I appreciated every second of it. It showed me what work in the real world is like and although it might have not been ideal, it taught me a lot about my area of interest, about start-ups and working in a tight-knit team. According to Molinksy’s definition, global dexterity is the ability to adapt our behavior within a foreign culture without losing our authentic selves in the process. In other words, it’s about “fitting in without stepping too far outside our personal comfort zone.” It’s not enough to recognize the cultural differences; what’s more important is that we need to apply our awareness and knowledge to real actions. And this remote internship gave me an opportunity to do that. During the internship, I stumbled to learn about the differences and uniqueness of the social media culture in Japan. I also enjoy this learning process since I have a vast interest in what I’m assigned to do and I’m also curious about different points of view of looking at social media. This has been a rewarding experience for me.

I did the remote internship in a multinational company. The company was based in Hong Kong, but I worked from Italy. It was undoubtedly an experience of great value. I dealt with employer branding within the HR team. I learned a lot about the subject but above all I learned how to work remotely, in another area of ​​the world, with different hours, and with a very different culture. And all of this made this experience important for me and for my career.

I was placed in a wonderful company in the UK and had a very educational and eye opening experince. My placement advisor was extremely helpful during the application process and communicated everything I needed clearly, he was also veryreceptive to my concerns and took not of everything I wanted in an internship. I was helped up till my interview with the company after which I started my internship. Even though it was online, which I was pretty skeptical of considering my major is very hands on (mechanical engineering), I ended up learning so much more than I could've imagined, including softwares and skills. The fact that it was remote allowed me to be close to family and participate in other functions locally as well. The career and development workshops were awesome too!

This internship program has been a wonderful experience both culturally and professionally! For the past twelve weeks, I have had the incredible opportunity to work in my chosen field in a company half a world away. How is this possible, you ask? Through the Absolute Internship Remote Internship Program. Look it up, seriously. When I was initially accepted into Absolute Internship’s study abroad program, I thought it was too good to be true. Gaining invaluable work experience from a world-renown company while exploring a foreign country? Yes, please! Of course, reality took over, and Covid-19 rocked the world. I was devasted and angry for being deprived of the experience. Lucky for myself and hundreds of other students, Absolute Internship extended a helping hand and introduced their Remote Internship program. My new thought, “I can gain invaluable work experience from a world-renown company while learning in my pajamas? Yes, please!” I applied again, interviewed (again), and soon received an email glowing with the word “Congratulations!”. Once more, I applied and was chosen as an Absolute Internship Remote Scholarship Awardee. Overjoyed at the thought of what was to come, I was quickly placed with and introduced to the law firm that would guide my learning for the next three months. My supervisor at MingDun law firm in Beijing immediately sought to get to know me as a person and as an intern. His warm welcome allowed me to feel as though I was truly part of a community an ocean away. I was soon supplied with several tasks to research and provide notes on for the firm’s use. Because this particular firm specialized in intellectual property law, each issue I researched brought me closer to understanding the nature of and interactions between intellectual property laws worldwide. From reading Trademark Infringement laws in the U.S. to interpreting the legality of the infamous TikTok ban, to conveying my findings, I began to understand the value an internship of this caliber could have in the eventual success of my career. Each time I submitted my research, my supervisor continued the learning process by meeting with me over Zoom and discussing any potential questions or clarifications I might have. This step was instrumental to my learning because it allowed me to speak with an expert in the field (not just over email) on a topic I was interested in pursuing as a career. It also granted me the opportunity to digest the mass amounts of information I was gathering and articulate it concisely. However, I would not have been able to do this effectively if it were not for Absolute Internship’s Absolute Academy. Each member of the Absolute Internship program is given access to this informative platform to supplement their experience. From workshops on emotional intelligence at the workplace to the art of communication to understanding diversity, the Academy has a course on how to excel in any internship. Score! But the learning doesn’t stop there. To make sure you are receiving every bit of internship wisdom possible, the program also offers many workshops designed to enhance soft skills necessary to career success. My favorite workshop was The Art of Communication, in which I utterly embarrassed myself by showcasing my unfortunate lack of communication skills. I applied the lessons I learned from this and similar workshops to my work at MingDun Law Firm. Throughout the previous twelve weeks, I am happy to report that I have grown not only as a researcher and writer but also as a team member, communicator, and critical thinker. I find it hard to believe that I could be just as successful in my career if I had not taken part in the Absolute Internship program. My experience interning with Absolute is going to be unforgettable. I participated during these past two months in the Remote Internship Program, where I work remotely with an organization of the sector I chose located in Paris. The staff of Absolute were great, always assisting me, making the experience feel personal and easy going. The program gave me the opportunity to continue my studies at the same time that I was working internationally with an organization. I also had the chance to explore my career interest and goals that I want to set for the future. The experience and knowledge that I gained during these past weeks is the start of my career life and I am forever grateful that Absolute Internship was the one that gave it to me.

Over the past few months, I interned at a non-profit based in Spain. It was very difficult work and it took some time to get adjusted to the time difference, the expectations of my work as an intern, the cultural and language differences. I got the opportunity to further practice my Spanish in a more professional setting, completing reports and applications in the language and helping come up with ideas and presentations for projects for my host company to develop at their locations globally. I appreciated the Absolute Internship's team consistent communication with me as well as the enthusiasm they showed to me especially during the application process. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience despite the difficulties of managing my internship and school schedule, and would recommend the opportunity to someone else, especially if they would be able to travel abroad for it!

I would definitely recommend an absolute internship to every student desiring to have a remote internship with a company abroad. I truly enjoyed my two experiences with them the first being a finance Internship in London and the second one being a finance remote internship. During my remote internship, the Absolute Internship was constently available and checking on me to make sure that my internship was doing great. Moreover, during the remote internship, we had a platform with information about how to succeed our internship; and we had online share meetings to connect with the other interns. They matched me with private investment companies and this was a major steps for me to helps me grow towards my careers goals. I really enjoyed my remote internship opportunity because as an international student I was able to go back home and then travel back for the beginning of class all of that while completing my internship.

I applied to this program because I wanted to build my resume and to grow both personally and professionally with an international experience. In this period of time traveling and going abroad could be difficult and this Remote Internship has been a really good solution. Thanks to this program I found an e-commerce and digital marketing internship at a London based luxury firm, being able to learn a lot, to grow and to begin building my career in the field I wanted to. I'm really satisfied with the help I had from Absolute Internship, as they helped me finding the perfect solution I was looking for, being always open to my needs.

At the beginning of lockdown I was anxious because all of my plans to do an internship during the summer and be productive were falling down. When I learned about Absolute Internship what I felt was hope and excitement. I had hope that I was going to be able to do something with my time and feel productive and be able to grow and learn, no matter the situation or circumstances. The team at Absolute offered me peace of mind, that no matter the industry that I chose, I was going to do a remote internship in that field even though I had no previous academic background, nor experience. I think this experience is going to be one of the most valuables experiences during my early professional years, since it is what is going to open doors for me in my industry of interest and also in such an important city as it is London. It has been the perfect opportunity to combine what I have learned in university over the past years into Marketing, which is what I want to work on, but I do not study. Nowadays, adaptability is such an important skill to have, companies are constantly looking out for people that show they can adapt to different circumstances and that show they have a desire to constantly learn and evolve. By doing a remote internship I did exactly that. I would not have had such an amazing experience if it wouldn´t have been for Absolute Internship.

As a soon to be graduate when worldwide lockdown came into play I was personally scrambling to gain work experience. Absolute Internship's scholarship program allowed some meaning to be placed behind my university experience. I was able to be paired with a company relevant to my field which enabled career development including the development of time management skills. Throughout this experience, I was able to develop a greater understanding of my career goals and this internship gave me an insight into the realm of opportunities within my industry. What is your advice to future travelers on this program? This program places you ultimately with a world of opportunities, however, it is your choice how much you gain. My advice to anyone considering this would be that you get out what you put in. If you are willing to make the sacrifice and really integrate as much as possible the fortune will be yours.

I’m a third-year student of Japanese studies at Durham University and began searching for a worthwhile use of my summer upon the realisation that COVID wasn’t disappearing quickly. What initially drew me to Absolute Internships is the wide variety of countries and industries that you could work in, I was previously finding it difficult looking for opportunities within Japan when I was unable to leave my town, let alone my country. I worked for 6 weeks with a Japanese cloud sharing company through the Absolute Internship Scholarship programme. What made Absolute Internships stand out from the rest, is the opportunity for continuous learning, not only through the working experience itself, but through their platform The Absolute Academy. This resource shared video lectures on a variety of topics such as how to boost employability. Additionally they provided regular career talks with industry professionals and skill sharing sessions so we could interact with fellow interns across the world and develop a wealth of skills. I had an amazing experience working with Absolute Internship, and through which I have developed skills and created connections which I did not expect to in such an uncertain period in everyone’s life. I would 100% recommend Absolute Internship to anyone looking for a new and rewarding experience.

Before Absolute Internship, I haven't had any similar open-minding experience. Absolute Internship gave me the opportunity of working abroad, which is a relevant CV-factor for a undergraduate student. It gave me the chance to get to know tremendous people from all around the world. From United States to China. From Jamaica to India. And that is the magic of the program. You enter a business-interested networking with who you're spending 1 month of your life. At the end, this network ends up being your family. Its is a worth it, good price, facility program. All of the factors you as an individual intern should take into consideration if going by yourself, such as housing, metrocard, city tours, and obviously, the internship, are already planned by absolute. Everything was as expected. The coordinators are FANTASTIC. Nowadays I have a great relationship with one of my program coordinators. Again, NETWORKING. End but not least, the internship I was hired in was awesome. I had the opportunity to interact with consumers, to investigate for different short-run objectives. I really felt part of the start-up company.

My time in Barcelona was really a dream come true. From the culture, food, language, and customs I learned so much. The architecture of various places such as Catalunya, Tibidabo, and La Sagrada Familia was stunning, to say the least. Not only that but the historical elements of this city were truly fascinating. I knew immediately that I could see myself living in Barcelona in the future. For my internship, I worked for a non-profit organization called APSOCECAT who serves the deaf-blind community. My job was to research how dance can improve the lives of deafblind people and strategies and methodologies for introducing it to them. Upon completion of this research, I felt so accomplished. I was able to come up with a strategy for introducing my passion of dance to a new community. It was a truly humbling experience. Outside of the office, I spent my time soaking up the Barcelona sun, visiting different places and artifacts and of course trying their cuisine. In more ways than one, Barcelona reminded me of my home, New York. They had an active nightlife and you could find a plethora of food options- from sushi and ramen to burritos and burgers, I fell in love with the city more and more every day. The Absolute Program gave me a tribe of people from various countries and states. I have made some great friendships that have continued even after leaving Barcelona. This is an experience that I will remember forever!

I decided to go to Hong Kong, because I really wanted a working experience abroad in a law firm. I was very scared and nervous at the beginning, but after arriving in Hong Kong and noticing that the Absolute internship crew were always there for us, step -by step, I slowly started feeling less scared and more sure of myself. This helped me have the best time ever. I met such amazing people and I was very sad when I had to come back home. I’ve never in my life seen such amazing things and met such amazing people. If Absolute Internship wouldn’t have organised the entire experience with such excellent hotels, shows, exhibitions, meeting, trips and so many more things, my experience abroad would really have been different.

Truly a life-changing experience. I was nervous starting out because I was in a totally new and different environment, but I wasn’t alone. The Absolute coordinators were so helpful and helped myself and every other intern transition into our new roles. I learned so much about myself and about the importance of stepping out of my comfort zone. I would highly recommend becoming a part of this program!

My experience interning abroad not only provided me with an excellent professional experience, it gave me the opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and immerse my self in a different culture. I was fortunate enough to be placed within a great firm and have amazing support from the Absolute Internship team members that were in Hong Kong with us throughout the entirety of the trip. They provided us with career advice, unique cultural experiences, and assistance with acclimating to a new culture. Without their support, my experience in Hong Kong would have been much more difficult. I highly recommend Absolute to any young professional thinking about working abroad, you will not regret it!

My internship experience at Madrid through Absolute has taught me a lot valuable things. It not only taught me how to better relate and adapt to a new culture, new working and living environment, and a new language but also gave me the confidence that I can live and work anywhere just fine. In sum, it helped me overcome my fear of men and helped me understand that good work ethic is important and necessary wherever I go and that it will go a long way wherever I work.

I had a great time with absolute internship while others were frustrated with the “change” of the weekend trip I enjoyed everything that Absolute had to offer and more. I constantly had a great time and wish I could stay for more weeks than just 4.

This experience has made me understand a lot about my self and my spot in the world, but also that everyday there is always something new to learn and things can't always be under control and steady as much as I would like to. Getting out from my comfort zone was something that I had to do and this experience allows me to do it and this was the main goal. In this travel I met lots of people all over the world who weren't from Italy and who teaches me a lot as well. During the day, at work, I learnt marketing skills, team building, problem solving and I improved my english and my communication skills. In the evening and during the weekend I learnt how to sing under a guitar, American slangs, listen to people's problems even if I didn't know their stories so well... I met new different people and everyone has something to give. In the beginning I thought for a moment not to have anything in common with those people... but at the end of the program, we say hi to each other with lots of good memories, promises to visit each other and a beautiful letter under my door left from one of the girls in the morning.

Absolute Internship placed me at a very beneficial internship that aligned with my values, and their day trips allowed me to learn more about the culture of Hong Kong that is not normally publicized.

It's a good experience to be part of absolute internship. We are provided with nice welcoming, decent accommodation, great transport advice. Besides, I love meeting friends in the same program and we can talk about our internship and experience. Also, the day and weekend trip are amazing especially the cruise trip, I really had a good time. The working environment is super awesome and I met a cool boss which I learn a lot from him.

Absolute Internship was overall a great experience for me because I got to meeting connect with new and different people who came from various backgrounds. The arrangements made by Absolute was not bad at all, however, one thing I would change is to get a better tour guide who lets us have time for pictures. The tour guides hired for both the city tour and day trip was walking too fast and the experience felt rushed. The company I was assigned to has amazing people and everyone in the internship program that I have met while staying in London have been very nice and welcoming.

This experience has been one that has not only helped me grow as a business professional, but it has helped to shape me into a more well rounded and sure-footed individual. Getting the opportunity to live and work in Barcelona has opened up my eyes to the world and has instilled a love for this country, this city and its people. I am already planning on coming back to Barcelona and I would not have wanted to spend this past summer in any other way.

I really loved my time with Absolute! I met some amazing people and learned a lot about the Swedish culture. I was go given the opportunity to both travel and work on my personal and professional development, making the experience priceless.

The Absolute Internship program provided me a valuable experience abroad. I had a great experience in the internship in Voi Scooters and I knew a lot about the working culture of Swedish people. I am also very happy that I had a chance to meet a lot of new friends, including friends from other countries. Overall, I really enjoyed the program and the time in Stockholm!

First of all, the residence area, where I stayed, was central and very convenient to reach any point in the city. It was equipped with all the necessary amenities: pharmacies, supermarkets, banks, bars etc. In the residence I had a private room with a bathroom and a mini kitchen. The room was small but very clean and well furnished, perfect for 1 person. In addition, the Residence provided many other comforts for residents such as: swimming pool, 24-hour gym, laundry, cinema and a rooftop from which to admire the view of Lisbon. Absolute staff did a good job organizing many activities and cultural events to attend such as: company visits, Fado shows, day trips to Sintra, weekend trips in the Algarve and much more. Furthermore, the opportunity to take part in a challenge, on social networks against teams from other cities, was great. As far as work experience is concerned, I can say that the company I worked for deals with financial consultancy for start-ups, a subject that interests me a lot. The office was in a convenient area and easily accessible by transport in less than half an hour. And the team was small (only 6 people) but very welcoming and helpful and I felt really comfortable with them.

I had a great time in Shanghai and learned a lot from my internship. Thanks for helping me find an internship to gain working experiences. My housing in Shanghai was very good. But I would wish to go to my priority city - Hong Kong for internship. But since the visa didn’t work out well, Shanghai was good too.

It was an amazing experience that make me realize what I want to do in the future. I’ve met the greatest people here. I wish I had more time to explore Shanghai or at least finish work a bit earlier, but overall- one of the best decision I’ve ever made.

Absolute internship is a company that gives the opportunity to students to have a real life working During the program they will take you to weekend trips, to different museums, to different companies, to a cruise, etc. They also have a workshop where you can learn different tips for the time when you graduate from college.

Honestly amazing program. Already told my friend to join the Barcelona or Madrid program. I really enjoyed the internship and met so many amazing friends. I am so happy that I was able to have an opportunity like this. Glad I chose this program over my study abroad program in Florence :)

The support I was given right from the start in choosing the best city suitable for me to the onsite housing etc, and AI was approachable at everytime. The host company chosen for me was perfectly suited to my expectations.

Overall, I met quite a lot of people during my internship here, and I know the relationship will carry forward. I have learned a lot about the culture here and loved the trips that Absolute organized. It is a great experience!

Before this experience I was afraid of not making friends, to be alone for the all program duration. Thanks to this experience I built real bonds with lots of people coming from different countries. At work I learnt how to be quick and how to deal with people with have different way of thinking.

I had a good experience. I liked mg program coordinators and my work environment. I learned a lot from this experience and it’s has changed me as a person. I loved living in Stockholm and in a large city.

First of all, this Absolute Internship experience was amazing for me because it helped me find a good company where I felt very welcome. In addition, I improved my communication skills. I also took advantage of global networking opportunities. The overseas work experience leads to life experience and opened myself up to bigger and better international jobs.

Overall, this has been a great experience. Absolute provided me with everything I needed to be successful. The subway card and the sim card were super helpful and made life in Tokyo a whole lot easier. Gonçalo was a great program coordinator and I’m glad I was able to meet and hangout with him these 6 weeks. I have no regrets. This trip will be one of the best memories in my life.

Overall, I had a great experience during my internship. I learned and gain a lot of experience with the tasks given by my supervisor. The company taught me the skills necessary to have as a business developer and how to associate my interest in law with the business development field.

Overall, it has been a great experience. I was really lucky to have found a company that I loved and that really trusted me by giving me important tasks and a sort of freedom to accomplish them. This is a great experiences of doing internship abroad and understand my industry in the foreign country. Apart from gain experiences of real situation in the workplace. This is also make me grow up a lot and make a lots of new friends through Absolute Internship. I learnt a lots during this six weeks internship.

The program was fantastic! Everybody was welcoming and embracing of other cultures/personalities. We were kept safe and made sure to enjoy our stay so that we would be motivated to do our best. I was also placed in an internship through a very smooth process, with a lot of support available if I needed it. The industry I was placed in was related to promoting renewable energies, which is very important to me. Overall, the experience was imperative for my personal and professional development.

I was unsure coming to Lisbon how this internship would turn out. However, it turned out to be the best experience of my life so far and I would not change a single thing. I am now inspired to keep traveling and challenging myself in the future.

The internship program in Tokyo seemed like a very exciting opportunity, but I had some concerns given it was the first year of the program and as it was a new experience for me. Overall, I found the experience very enjoyable. It offered me many opportunities professionally and personally, and I feel that I have made the most out of the rare opportunity to spend six weeks in summer in Tokyo.

The service can always improve, but I had a really incredible experience; between an interesting firm in which I had a good amount of professional advice and advancement, to some really nice absolute colleagues and fun trips. The brand of Absolute tribe is really nicely developed and program coordinators are really available to follow you and give any type of advice.

Overall, I can confidently say that this last month was the best experience of my life so far. I was scared, uncomfortable, and uncertain starting out and at certain points during the month, but because of that, I was able to learn things about myself that I don't think I otherwise would have.

I thought absolute internship is a very good program. They really worry about the students actually working in the field that they study and making an impact. The coordinators are the best, always with a positive energy. Had so much fun!

I loved absolute internship because of the customizable nature. I loved how all the interns were housed together and group activities were facilitated. I loved all of my coworkers and am very happy I was able to work with them and get to know them. Our absolute team was amazing and the social coordinator was the best. We had so much fun, and Shanghai is a wonderful city!

Overall my experience was very positive. I loved the company I got placed with as the projects they assigned me were extremely interesting and allowed me to push myself beyond my comfort levels. I do truly feel as though I have grown on a professional level. Singapore in itself is also a beautiful country. Albeit strict, it is extremely safe & there is lot’s to do. The people I met were all very nice & Im grateful to have shared this experience with them. In all, I’m going back to Canada feeling very grateful to have had this opportunity. Despite all of the uncertainty with my visa in the beginning, I genuinely loved this whole experience.

It was a great experience even if I had some problems to find my internship. I worked in great company with adorable persons. I recommend it, especially for people for who it's the first time that they travel alone and they do an internship.

Absolute Internship is a decent opportunity for those looking to travel abroad. The accomodations are nice, and the selected cities are wonderful. The fact that there are also trips included in the program is extremely valuable.

Overall, this was an amazing experience. The housing was excellent and quite close to my office. The trips were well-organized and I got to see some wonderful views. My internship was challenging but the managers were always available and understanding. Then the quality of life in Tokyo is probably the highest in the world.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience with absolute a lot. There were a lot of opportunities to meet people and do exciting things. Everyone was friendly in my group and that helped my experience. I felt good about this internship because I was still given a lot of freedom when I wasn’t working to do things in Barcelona that I wanted too. Sometimes there were lapses in communication, but they did not deteriorate my overall experience with absolute. In the end, I did what I came to do, I strengthened my work ethic and my resumè while still enjoying the city, trying new things and meeting new people.

This is absolutely a memorable experience. I found a very good place to work with all the benefit you need (free water, coffe and more) and a really very good team to work with. I had the opportunity to understand what means "swedish culture" e other scandinavian culture in some week-end trip. i really recommend to do it!

I think in general, the absolute team helped me a lot transitioning my life here in Hong Kong and supported me in various ways. I think the living situation is really good and even though my roommate and I don’t know each other before coming here, we share the same living habit and life style and I think the roommate questionnaire really works.

My internship experience in Stockholm was wonderful, Stockholm is a really beautiful city and interning in summer was the best option as the weather was perfect. Absolute team was very supportive and all the facilities like accommodation, cultural activities, weekend trips were planned very appropriately.I met people from different backgrounds in the program and the office where i was interning was really cool and a got a flexible work culture to experience.overall it was an experience which i will never forget and recommend students do definitely intern abroad.

Stockholm is probably the best city I have ever experienced in my life. Being a lover of sustainable living, they really and truly take that seriously. The weather is absolutely amazing. It's not too hot or not too cold, and there are tons of interesting and exciting things to do there. The internship itself was not the best, however a lot of things that happened were out of the organization's control. What I did do did help with my aspirations when I went back home, but it also opened my eyes to a new niche I hope to develop. It also gave me a new perspective on what I can do with my degree once I graduate. The accommodations were amazing and in the perfect location to explore all that Sweden has to offer. You really do get what you pay for and it is something that I do recommend for persons to do in the future. I will most definitely be back to Stockholm in the near future!

The program does a great job of helping students adjust to a new country and culture! I really enjoyed the immersive experience. Receiving professional development in another country helped me to be more well-rounded, adaptable and globally aware. I've learned a lot from this experience and take back many great memories. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who has an appreciation for cultural experiences and who would like to take it one step further in their academic and professional career.

Absolute Internship made me realize what I look and don’t look for in a job while exploring one of my favorite places. I’m so grateful for the professional and personal growth in these two months, I’m a much better person now.

The program said it would offer much more than it actually did. The schedule and calendar they provided was not followed and some events were either cancelled or delayed for a long time. The company visits were not up to the standard I was expecting. I was part of Absolute’s very first program in Lisbon so we were the test subjects. They didn’t know where to take us on trips, how to plan them, and what a good tour guide was going to be for the group which made it very frustrating. As a paying customer without any sort of ”first-timer” discount, I felt that I was not getting what I paid for... ever. As the weeks went on and the new groups were introduced, the planning and the trips got substantially better. However, making the first group endure all the errors, mistakes, and failures of the company makes me think that Absolute Internship had no idea what they were thinking. I personally would not recommend this abroad organization’s program in Lisbon because they don’t have it figured out yet. For future groups, there are definitely still aspects that will be a waste of money and it’s not easy seeing my thousands of dollars being thrown away for something I could have organized with another company or by myself. Speaking of which, the job placement division is not good at all. I was not allowed to interview for any other company, only one because it would have been “too hard” for them to find another one (Note: My field is not obscure at all.) BUT, there were other people in my group that had interviews and contacts with multiple companies so I received false information. There was another person in my group who signed up for London, but they messed up her paperwork and she ended up joining the Lisbon group and they didn’t tell her where she was working until a week before we arrived in Portugal. The company is highly disorganized, overpriced, and most parts were not worth it. I will day that Lisbon is absolutely phenomenal, I made incredible friends, and I got to see how beautiful Portugal is day and night. My coworkers are some of the best people I ever met and the apartment we were housed in and AMAZING. They scored on the housing front. Being totally fair in accepting all their flaws and their successes- I would have to say that I do not recommend this company to you. Maybe because their other cities have been doing this longer they could be better but I would wait on Lisbon (Bogota, Paris, and some other new cities too) for a few years until they get their act together.

Me experience interning in Singapore was far better than I had ever imagined it to be. Pretty skeptical about interning abroad, I researched a lot about intern abroad programs. I finally came to the conclusion that I wanted to intern in Singapore through Absolute Internship. I can say that my decision did not disappoint. It was truly a great experience. I made amazing friends and loved exploring Singapore with them. I would definitely recommend Absolute Internship to anyone even considering interning abroad.

Handling visa issues prior to arrival was rough...and came back to cause trouble later in the trip. Original placement company turned out to be terrible fit, but Absolute did a great job finding a new placement. New placement was great- met incredible people, did interesting and relevant work, and had great working environment. Because of visa issues (Chinese embassy gave me two 30-day visas instead of one 60-day visa) I had to leave China for a week and stay in Hong Kong. Great experience, and Absolute took care of everything. However, Absolute had also told me that there would not be any further issues with the visa, but when I was at Shanghai airport to leave for Hong Kong, I was briefly detained by Chinese security for a "visa overstay." My name is now in Chinese legal system, not happy about that at all. Overall, still managed to learn a lot.

I really enjoyed the program. At the start there were a few issues in regards to things being advertised on your website which were not actually supplied but that was fast forgotten. I enjoyed the weekend trips and the day trips were also good. Meeting so many new people was very exciting and I’m very glad that I found so many new friends. I think Aaron and Goncalo both did a very good job. They made me feel very welcome at the start and now I consider both of them as good friends.

My program coordinators were amazing from the beginning to end. They have made me feel like home and gave a lot of helpful tips as to where to eat and what places to visit. They encouraged us to take lots of pictures and explore as much as possible!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in Singapore. Absolute went above and beyond in helping me get here. I was very hesitant about spending a month in a country very far from home, but I am so happy I decided to come. This will always be a memorable experience.

The Lisbon trip was honestly a great experience for me. The city in general is a great place if you're someone who is worried that they will feel out of place in a foreign country, because it's so diverse and plenty of people speak English and Spanish. It has a rich culture which you feel when you're there whilst also having a good nightlife and buzzing tourist atmosphere. Whether you're a European like me or someone from another continent, Lisbon is a great place to live for a short period of time, with relatively low prices and plenty of things to see if you are a bit of a traveller (plus there's beaches nearby - the temperatures are above 30 degrees celsius in summer). Absolute Internship (AI) were quick to resolve any issues I had during the 6 weeks I was in Lisbon and always made it clear that they wanted to help improve my experience in any way I could, albeit both their advice on how to make the most of the trip and their communication prior to me coming to Lisbon wasn't great. When I applied for the program around January-time, the person from AI who was finding me a job was at times slow to respond to my emails but did make a clear effort to find me an internship that suited what I wanted to get out of my experience (any job in marketing). I had secured the job by the end of February and AI's payment scheme meant that I only paid the total amount once I'd secured the right internship for me. When I'd arrived in Lisbon, the AI coordinator taking us was very quick at responding to my messages, and I was repeatedly reassured that if there were any issues I had with any aspect of the course, I should let the coordinator know as soon as possible, which was helpful. As someone who was concerned about whether this company were legit or not (and if I'd just paid a large sum of money to a bunch of scammers), I was relieved to find early on that they were as legit as I'd hoped, and most of the others on the course had found AI through their universities, which was also reassuring. I was satisfied with the quality of AI's care and support, although I know that there were others that were unsatisfied with some responses to their more serious issues (e.g. they really didn't want to continue with their internships but AI couldn't find them another one). I was the only Brit and European on my course, with the others coming from North America, South East Asia and the Middle East - they were all a great group of people and we did quite a few activities together, which was nice. The social side of this trip was great and although it was a bit lonely to start with, as expected, I'm really good friends with many of the people I met on this course - no need to worry about whether you'll make friends or not! Overall I would highly recommend the Lisbon trip! As someone who has been on a poorly run internship scheme before, AI definitely offered a professional internship scheme that I'm grateful I went on and was worth the money in my opinion.

I have always dreamed of interning abroad so when this opportunity came along I couldn’t refuse. Once I arrived in Lisbon I must say it was quite different than being in America, and took me a little time to get accumulated to what would be my new life for six weeks. However, my coordinator Aiste did a great job at making me feel right at home, along with the other amazing members in my group. I really loved the trips and events that Absolute Internship organized for us, it allowed us to experience the culture, traditions, and learn the history of Portugal overall. To anyone who is considering interning abroad “DO IT”,your life will never be the same. Remember your dreams are worth investing in, so why not start now!

I would say it was very much a memorable and valuable experience in my lifetime. It was the very first time for me to travel and intern abroad alone, to a place where no one speaks in Cantonese, and with a totally different culture from home. Anxiety overwhelmed me at the early stage of the program. The anxiousness of being robbed, being isolated, and getting lost in Lisbon made me sweat a lot. Nevertheless, once I arrived the country and finally met the people in the program, I realized that all the worries were just unnecessary. Students joining the program and the program coordinators were very friendly and helpful. In the past 6 weeks of exchange, we created a lot of fun memories while we share our cultures, life experiences, from every tiny bits of our daily lives to our future dreams. I enjoyed a lot the time we spent together, and I really do appreciate our coordinators' effort in organizing the events for gathering, for example, the happy hour section we had in the rooftop bars, the dinner we had in some nice restaurants, and some cultural exchange cooking night in the student dorm. For the activities, I would suggest some more fun activities, to provide a more diverse choices of activities or free time to explore the city, rather than restricting the time or visiting every historical tourist spots in the city. However, the overall exchange experience was enjoyable!

With the bursary and support received at the University of Birmingham, I was given the opportunity to intern at a boutique law firm in Shanghai through Absolute Internship. This experience was beneficial both personally and professionally; exposing me to a new culture and refining my approach to the working world. Professionally, the internship enabled me to stand out from the crowd, especially when it came to obtaining a graduate role at an international organisation such as Ernst & Young.

I’m currently busy with a summer internship in Tokyo. This is the honest review of false marketing and advertising that Absolute Internship: When I asked for a refund as I'm not getting what I paid for I was told that if I wanted a refund I should've requested one 12 WEEKS BEFORE MY PROGRAM STARTED. When I complained about the false advertising they sent me a policy stating that "they cannot be held responsible for the info on their website" In regards to thing that we’re supposed to be included in this trip which is not: -Breakfast, yet when we arrived: no breakfast and everyone just keeps quiet about it -Laundry (It was never communicated that we would have to not only buy cards to use laundry but also pay extra for washing, drying etc?) -Transport and data, which upon arrival in Tokyo changed to only being included for first 4 weeks. -High speed internet, which is always disconnecting -Toiletpaper? It was never communicated that we would have to buy toiletpaper and soap to clean our rooms When I arrived in Tokyo there was a discomfort regarding my transfer that was waiting for me on the airport. I sent an email to Aiste a week before cancelling it as I couldn’t get private transport as requested. -We were explicitly told not to take any linens but yet we didn’t even receive pillow cases in our room. The above is really influencing the cost of the trip. We were promised a city tour, which was a total rip-off seeing as I could barely hear anything and you don’t even get chance to take a decent photograph. After arriving at the Anime are we were told we had EXACTLY 10 minutes to look around and do some shopping, which is kind of impossible to in that amount of time. The lack communication is shocking The AI staff literally tell you to meet up at a time and place and when you get there, nobody is there. They just don't inform you on changes in programmes so you end up missing them. There is no communication system in place and you can expect not to receive what you're paying for. Whenever I have a problem or try to get in touch there is general feeling of your staff that implies I’m in the wrong, no reply, or just a general “please understand my situation too”. Absolute provides false advertising! Regarding my internship, it didn't match my experience and was not a learning environment as promised. Thie whole trip is a massive waste of money and time seeing as I’m not really learning anything while being led astray to what is included and what not. I still haven’t received my metro card top-up and am travelling on my own expense due to your staff not replying to me and making any effort to help me with the things that are supposed to be included. When the staff don't ignore you, they bully you. Escpecially a lady named Heather who is supposed to be head of operations who runs an operations b taking your money and not giving you what you pay for. She casually replies with a "thank you for your feedback" AI promises a certain level of service in your marketing, which is clearly not the case. They basically steal your money! Don't sign-up to their programmes it's a total SCAM!

SCAM! under no circumstances should you go with this company. they lie, mislead, and have no communication skills with the interns. Please save your money, don't make the same mistakes i did. It is ridiculous how unprofessional they are! you could travel your country of choice for over a month with the same amount of money! Do not trust these people!

I have no regrets from my internship in Stockholm. It was the best 2 months of my life, full of personal and professional growth. The living accommodations were extremely nice and in a great part of the city, the people in the program were super friendly and we became close so fast, my job placement was exactly what I wanted and my coworkers were very welcoming of me, and it was so easy to travel and explore different countries. I am so happy that I was able to have this experience.

As the only history and anthropology student (who loves Chinese history and is taking the language), I can appreciate the history and beauty of China more than any of the other students in my group. I am going to miss Shanghai and the coworkers that I befriended at my internship. In fact, I already have in mind to come back and either work for the place I interned or go through their program (they hire people to go to China to teach).

I’ve learned alot while living in Shanghai, and have experienced the good and the bad. Through AI, I’ve explored different parts of China, which I appreciate. Ive learned about a different way of life and how to understand cultural differences. After this trip, I’ve become more culturally aware.

I had the possibility to learn a lot of things during the internship; finished work I had a lot of fun, also thanks to the program coordinator who proposed many activities to do. Therefore, I am very enthusiastic.

Stockholm is one of the greatest cities I've ever been to. This is definitely the most amazing trip I've ever been on, hands down. The traveling, people I've met, things I've gotten to try and experience made it so incredible. I'm glad we were given so much freedom to just get involved and engaged with the world around. 4 weeks isn't enough!

I've really enjoyed my time here in Shanghai. My internship has challenged me more than I expected and overall it is a great city to stay in (just the right balance between a big modern city with traditional Chinese influences as well).

I've genuinely loved my Absolute experience in Madrid and am considering the possibility of doing the program again next year at a different location. Living abroad has been the best experience of my life so far and it's something I never thought I'd be able to do so I am grateful that Absolute turned out to be a legitimate way for me to have this experience.

My internship and my company were amazing, I learned a lot about the architecture field, and they asked me back next summer. So overall it was an amazing experience and beneficial for my professional future.

My internship was so fulfilling and challenging. I learned many new abilities and my company was great! Though my experience was amazing and I did enjoy every bit of experience. All in all, it was a challenging yet amazing summer. I wish I would've had the opportunity to stay more than a month. An amazing experience and I wouldn't trade it for any other kind of summer.

The program overall was great and being able to live in Barcelona for a month has been the absolute best! This internship has taught me a lot not only about myself like my strengths and skills but also the wonderful culture and amazing absolute crew!

I loved my second placement. The people made me feel significant to the company and valued my work. My room was great and had many amenities. Transportation in the city was easy to navigate.
