Intern in Stockholm with Absolute Internship

My experience in Stockholm is hard to define in just one word, although I think I did a pretty good job with the title earlier. I can start precisely with how sweet the whole community was, and not just referring to the program environment, off course they were amazing. When I went, I was aware that I was going to face a lot of challenges, even more when I was thinking that I couldn't even imagine many of those challenges at that moment. It was exciting in a limited sense. Something I'm really grateful to this whole adventure for, is giving me the opportunity to prove to myself how agile, quick, and relaxed I can be when facing new places, people, and moments.

Pickled Herring. I had it at Midsommar in VasaParken as one of my PC's gave it to me. I thought it tasted really weird at first but turns out it is ok to put on bread as well. Pros Mueseums (Vasa, Viking , Skansen) Experience a new culture and perspective FIKA Culture is Amazing. You will get used to plenty of pastries and coffee during breaks. Cons Stockholm is a Very Expensive City (one of the most in Europe). Many costs such as Dining Out can be very costly, as this is an unpaid intersnhip. Highly reccomended for students to budget wisely and use cheaper options such as ICA (grcoery store chain. Transportation Delays on the T Bahn some days but this was not notified of me by my PC's ahead of time. Housing was fine, as I had a clean room but we did not have a dishwasher and coffee machine. The laundry machines was ok but one of our dryers was broken and they didn't fix it for weeks.

Absolute Internship was such a great experience, I cannot recommend it enough! I spent 4 weeks in Stockholm, Sweden in June 2026 and wish I had stayed longer! The programme was so well organised with orientation, making me feel really comfortable in the country before I started work. They sorted everything from accommodation to metro cards and the programme coordinators were available 24/7 over text whenever you had a question. I loved my time in Sweden so much and I wish I could go back!

Stockholm is a beautiful place to spend the summer, and I've experienced a multitude of personal and professional development, both in and out of the workplace. I've been able to hone in on what I really want to pursue as a career, grow those skills, and meet the most amazing people while I'm at it! The program coordinators were so wonderful and supportive throughout the entire journey, my boss was incredibly welcoming, and the other students in the program created some of the strongest friendships I've ever experienced.

The program was truly incredible! It allowed me to build lifelong friendships with people from places I never imagined meeting them. The opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture and navigate life in a foreign country was both challenging and rewarding. Absolute Internship provided constant reassurance and support, making the experience much smoother, especially when adapting to being on my own. Overall, it was an unforgettable adventure that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking personal and professional growth abroad.

Went here during my gap year, with no clue on what was out there in the world or what to expect. I learned SO much from this, from my career field to working in a team, managing tasks and meeting new people. The office was stunning, and Absolute Internship was always there to help and checked in too. I came back with a new sense of understanding, belonging and more. My internship in Stockholm was an incredible experience which I am deeply grateful for. I made lasting friendships with other students from all over the world, explored a new country, and worked with a company that was exceptionally welcoming. They equipped me with invaluable industry skills and hands-on experience, greatly enhancing my knowledge and confidence moving forward. Additionally, I was lucky to work with an extremely supportive team, making this experience both personally and professionally rewarding.

What made my experience great is I got in an industry I wanted with minimal effort and the lady I worked for was kind and gave me constructive work that was meaningful. Absolute Internship worked hard to get students into fields they are interested in and were there for whatever questions and concerns the students had along the way.

During my internship in Sweden, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in a dynamic and innovative work environment. The Swedish work culture, known for its emphasis on work-life balance, allowed me to grow professionally while also appreciating the importance of well-being. I was able to contribute to meaningful projects, and my ideas were welcomed and valued by my colleagues. The collaborative atmosphere and flat organizational structure fostered open communication and teamwork. Additionally, living in Sweden provided me with a deeper understanding of its rich culture and high quality of life. This internship was an invaluable experience that enhanced both my professional skills and personal growth.

The experience with the help of absolute internship was very helpful to build my career and boost my academic success. It all started when I wanted an international internship, I found absolute contacted them and waited. Afterwards, I ended having 4 week internship in my favorite industry Supply Chain. Got to see and discover new cultures, technology and life style. Also, the housing was in the center close to everything, which I loved the most. While I was in remote work, Starbucks was in the same floor building, where I could sit comfortably and work in a cozy environment. I missed those days already! Wish you will have a similar experience.

Working international is a valuable experience for anyone. Here's why my experience was extraordinary: With a perfect match with the internship company, I had set sails to a successful internship. The only downside on this was, that I found this match 4 Days before flying out to Stockholm, which made me very nervous. Special thanks here to the staff, who managed to calm me down multiple times. Arriving in Stockholm, we got a helpful and informative introduction to the city and the internship from an on-site program manager. Floorball is a sport very popular in the northern countries of Europe. As a player, it was a great honour and experience to play with a local team during my stay. This wasn't set up by Absolute Internship, but I would recommend you, to try and find a club of your sport to see how it's played in another country. A big stress killer was the knowledge of having support from the Absolute Internship staff, even when they weren't on site any more. They checked in with us regularly and helped with problems with the company, accommodation and gave great tips for free time activities. For me, the 2 career workshops, weren't helpful and more time-consuming, than a learning experience. If it is worth the investment of the money: I can't say. For me, the University paid, but I do think that it is worth it. Last but not least, I want to say that the bondage, you'll create with the other students in the program are very interesting, since you wouldn't meet such people any other way.

Going all the way to Sweden for an internship is really freaky. I don't travel much, especially that far. I didn't know how to prepare, what I should and shouldn't do, etc... However, the people at Absolute do know about how to guide you through these places and aren't unfamiliar with unfamiliarity. Although they could be a bit more proactive in reaching out to you to help along the way and while on the trip, they are very friendly and personable people that want to make sure you're comfortable. Make sure you ask them a lot of questions if you're nervous because they'll help you out or direct you to where you can get help. It was a very flexible experience with them, which I'd normally not expect considering the scale of what they do. They try to make sure you have a nice place to stay and fun stuff to do while abroad. They're a great avenue for exploration if you've been meaning to venture out of your comfort zone.

My name is Pfifer Blackman and I am an American currently studying at the University of Georgia. I am a junior double majoring in Real Estate and Finance in the Terry College of Business. I always wanted to go abroad and when finding an immersive experience involving work I was immediately intrigued. I participated in the Spring internship program with Absolute Internship. I have held this internship particularly close to my heart as the people there are very accepting and wish for me to get the most out of it. They were willing and able to place various tasks on my plate and allowed me to earn significant exposure to the inner operations here at Hostini. As I was assigned these responsibilities, one stuck out to me as it was particularly fulfilling. I was able to expand my leadership skills dramatically through my time in Stockholm. Although I did enjoy each corporate project, I found myself learning in corners never expected. Handling the company’s financials was not something I had expected out of this internship, but I enjoyed every second of this responsibility. It was a great feeling to confirm my love for math and numbers and have them applied in a real-life setting. I plan to take these skills back with me and hopefully apply them to a job in the fall around Athens while completing my senior year. As this was a very developing experience in my life, I would recommend it to all. Coming in with an open mind and room to grow were two things that assisted my success.

Completing an internship abroad though Absolute Internship was an amazing experience. Not only was I able to get hands-on experience in the workplace that was very beneficial to my future career, but I was also able immerse myself in a new culture and gain unforgettable experiences while traveling the world with new friends. Absolute Internship runs a great program and I would recommend it to anyone looking to go abroad and get valuable work experience.

I went on an internship to Stockholm with Absolute Internships, it was one of the best decisions I have done. I cannot wait to intern with them again next summer. The application process was easy and simple, they follow you every step of the way to make sure that everything is clear. If you have any questions, the team are available to help in regards to the process of application but also on site. I had a great experience, made friends from all over the world and experienced office culture in another country. I cannot wait to reapply next year, I hope that many others find Absolute and enroll to intern with them so they can have a similar experience to the one that I had.

It's a good experience to be part of absolute internship. We are provided with nice welcoming, decent accommodation, great transport advice. Besides, I love meeting friends in the same program and we can talk about our internship and experience. Also, the day and weekend trip are amazing especially the cruise trip, I really had a good time. The working environment is super awesome and I met a cool boss which I learn a lot from him.

I really loved my time with Absolute! I met some amazing people and learned a lot about the Swedish culture. I was go given the opportunity to both travel and work on my personal and professional development, making the experience priceless.

The Absolute Internship program provided me a valuable experience abroad. I had a great experience in the internship in Voi Scooters and I knew a lot about the working culture of Swedish people. I am also very happy that I had a chance to meet a lot of new friends, including friends from other countries. Overall, I really enjoyed the program and the time in Stockholm!

Absolute internship is a company that gives the opportunity to students to have a real life working During the program they will take you to weekend trips, to different museums, to different companies, to a cruise, etc. They also have a workshop where you can learn different tips for the time when you graduate from college.
