Experience living and learning German in a Bavarian medieval castle in the heart of Munich. Located in the south of the city about 10 kilometers from the center, on the banks of the River Isar, this summer program offers a unique experience to discover Munich. Munich (Munchen) is the capital city of Bavaria (Bayern) and the third largest city in Germany, after Berlin and Hamburg. Modern Munich is a financial and publishing hub and is known as a very livable city. Munich lies on the elevated plains of Upper Bavaria, about 50 kilometers north of the northern edge of the Alps, at an altitude of about 520 meters.
