Program Overview

Humboldt's German courses for children and teenagers are offered year-round in Bad Schussenried and Lindenberg in southern Germany. This offers a great variety of starting dates and a flexible course duration. The intensive German courses comprise either 25 lessons (kids) or 30 lessons (teenagers) of 45 minutes per week.

Additional German summer courses are available from June to August in different locations in Germany and Austria. Summer courses for teenagers are located in the centers of exciting cities like Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Munich or Vienna. The German courses for children are held in smaller locations. The safety of the students is always guaranteed - regardless of the course center chosen.

A special feature of the German courses at the Humboldt-Institut is that only German is spoken in class and outside of class. Intermediate languages such as English are not used. Thus, students are immersed in the German language from the very beginning (immersion). The boarding school structure with regular daily routines and many activities on campus also contributes to the learning progress.

Every day, following the lessons, an active and varied leisure program is offered.
