History Gap Year Programs in Rome,Italy

I had a wonderful experience with AhA. As a non native English speaker I was afraid of the language barrier but it turn out that this program help me improve significantly and that I was able to create really special and life changing contact with other students. This program really get you no matter if you’re a expert in art and history or a total beginner like I was. I was able to learn so much and create memorable memories. At first I didn’t believe it but after this 6 weeks, I can say it without hesitation our AhA groupe became like a family to me.

This time around 9 years ago i attended the Spring Gap Year Course in 2015. I remember loving every minute of it, and leaving the course feeling like this is the happiest i have ever been at that time. Yet now it is so much clearer; because of my time with AHA, i wanted to read things, i wanted to learn more, and i was excited by learning. It was the perfect feeling to have before going to university. And yet that's forgetting the biggest thing of all - AHA was the best 6 weeks i'd ever had anywhere. I travelled Italy with 14 other friends, and every day was a blast. I didn't even realise that we were learning - we were just having a laugh and seeing these amazing things, every day. I was a bit apprehensive having studied art history at school, and having already visited quite a few of the places already. But that made no difference; looking back on it now, 6 weeks with AHA was a really formative experience for me; because of AHA, i'd moved away from being an adolescent school student into someone who was more confident and assured and studying art with AHA just wanted to make me see and learn more.
