The Peru's Challenge Program works with volunteers to create opportunities for children living in the Andes of Peru in South America. Before starting any project, we have lengthy discussions with all members of the community to ascertain what it is that they want and require for their children and how we can work closely together.

Participants will be actively involved in teaching adults and K-12 students. Health care professionals will see clinical, surgical, nutrition, maternity and child care areas. The school year in Peru is March to December. Active participation with the community of 600 families is expected.
